i try to use youtube or mirrioring on my ipad or iphone and all it does is have the loading icon.

Reboot ATv and router
Make sure DNS is set to automatic
If on wifi try Ethernet

I am the original owner of an ipad and it woke it yesterday requiring me to activate it using the original apple id used to set it up.
It will not accept my apple id and password.
It does not show up in my icloud under devices.
I have tried hard restart (home + power) and itunes recovery.
I am out of ideas and have not found anything for original owners (as opposed to someone who bought it from someone else). I did see some posts from last year where a few people had the same problem and took it back to apple and got a refurbished unit given to them since customer service and engineering couldn't fix it. I was wondering if this was related to the recent ios8 upgrade. Anybody else have ideas or same problem before I hike down to the apple store for mercy?

My iMac starts up, but won't even get past the white screen with the Apple logo.
It kept giving me black screens, and would not start in safety mode. After command + option + p + r, the black screens stopped coming, but it still won't get past the loading screen, if I let it load long enough the Apple logo is replaced by a "denied" symbol but that is the only thing that happens. By hitting command + d, I was told nothing is wrong. When pressing command + r and going to disk utility, it found an issue while verifying and repairing. At first it stated "invalid journal" but now it only says to reinstall everything and that the problem couldn't be solved. I cannot mount the harddrive, and Time Machine just searches for copies without getting anywhere. When I try installing OS X (Mavericks) again, the harddrive doesn't even show up. What do I do?

The HD sounds like it has crashed, take it into your local Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP), if you bought AppleCare this will be covered. I just got the latest apple TV and I plugged it in selected a wireless network and it just stays at the Activiating screen and won't progress. Has anyone else had this problem?

you should go to genius bar. If it's a bug from your iphone, apple may change your iphone maybe for free.

I had the finder and Safari windows open. Safari was on youtube then it froze so I shut it down. It turned back on once to get to the login screen but then froze once again. Know it only turns on the apple loading screen with a little loading bar which won't move.

Is this a grey bar? If so, it sounds like it's trying boot into Safe Mode.

My macbook won't get past the loading screen..

i dont know what went wrong but i was going to empty out my trash folder and when i clicked to have it emptied, that little screen that pops up notifying you of its progress said there was nothing to be emptied so when i tried to exit it wouldnt let me. it stood like that for awhile but would not let me quit. so i force quit but that didnt work so i hit the reboot option and then all my desktop icons were gone with only my desktop showing. it remained like that for awhile. so i pressed the power button to shut it off. now when i try to turn it on the loading page opens but thats as far as my computer goes. i also have a disk inside that i cant eject.
i obviously don't know what to do and school starts in a little over a week so some tips would be GREATLY appreciated.

If you can find another Mac, restart your MacBook and hold the "T" key. This will in effect, turn your Mac into an external firewire hard drive. Hook it up to another Mac via a firewire cable, and using the other Mac, do a permissions repair of your Mac with the disc utility.
Or, run Disc Warrior from the other Mac, to repair the directory on yours.

I just bought a jail broken iPhone and then did a factory reset on it. Now it won't get passed the loading screen. Is there anything I can do without the jail-breaking software?

When I bought it it was working just fine. There was no sim in it when I got it. I went into the settings and reset the phone back to factory. The phone rebooted itself and now, when the loading symbol is done loading, it goes away for a second and then is right back. It just keeps rebooting over and over until it's dead.
My computer won't find it and the charger isn't charging it anymore.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read this post.
I accidentally left my iPhone 4 outside on the table for a week or so and upon charging the iPhone came on as usual and worked as usual, apart from I had to hold the off button and the home button at the same time for it to turn on but this worked first time however. When the iPhone then died and I charged it again the apple logo appears for a while, then disappears and then re-appears. I've tried holding the home button and the off button at the same time but that doesn't seem to do anything but make the iPhone show the Apple logo again.
I was just wondering if there is anything I can do to fix this iPhone as I need it dearly or would I need to get a new one completely.

Did it get liquid damaged?
Look inside the headphone port, you will either be able to see a red or a white dot at the end of it.
If it is white, then you should be ok from liquid damage.
Next thing to do is to plug phone into iTunes, then to hold home and power button for 10 seconds, then let go of power but keep hold of home. iTunes should say it has discovered an iPhone in recovery mode and needs to be restored. Restore it and see if that does it. If it doesn't, then yeh, its dead

My macbook pro was on sleep mode, and when i opened it again, it wouldn't come off the black screen. It is very hot and also doesn't respond to the power button...

I will go to the Apple store. I just thought I would throw it out there to see if anyone had a solution. They repaired this macbook before twice. The last time they replaced several things to fix the screen. I just threw out the question to see if someone could save me the trip to the store.
I was curious if the new programs (like lego games) can cause the computer to run to a point to blank the screen.
And curious if there are other things I can try to get the screen up and running.

IPad will not come off of boot screen

My ipad will not come off the boot screen. I was able to get it to reset with the new software, and go through the whole reconfigeration process. then it just reboots and sits on the screen with the apple on it. Then it comes to the configuration screen then goes back to the boot screen. Please help. I don't know what else to do.

Which phone are you transferring from and which phone are you transferring to?
Go to the App store and download JS Backup. On your old phone start the backup app and tell it you want to transfer the content to the new phone. On the new phone you want to restore or import the info. then follow the instructions and get some coffee. It will take about 15 minutes to do it all.
Then on the new phone save your contacts to Google so you do not run into VZW Cloud hell trying to get them back. For other content you can use JS Backup and save it to your computer (it will do it automatically with the computer app as well.
Then Disable VZW Cloud and save yourself a lot of headache and trouble over the next 2 years.

My computer has streaks on the screen that won't come off

HT1423 the memory-access door won't come off, HELP!

I have a mid-2007 iMac with 1 GB of ram and i'm trying to replace it, but the memory-access door won't come off. i loosen the screw with a screw driver but it won't open and i don't know why. i want to upgrade to 4 GB.
is there some trick to opening it thats not stated in this article? please help me, i don't know what to do :-( i really need to get lion on this thing and can't do that without a RAM update.
