My apple tv wont connect to my computer or itunes account although all the correct info has been applied
i have recently moved house and changed internet provider. i have had trouble getting my imac to stay connected to the wifi but this problem has now been solved after a lot of tech support from apple. however my apple tv still wont talk to my computer and itunes account. when i hit the computer icon on apple tv it comes up with "could not connect to J.... B..... library" "make sure the computer is on the same network as your apple tv, the itunes version is up to date, and itunes is running" all of this is correct and i have tried resetting, restoring, reloading, deleting the account and adding again, restarting the modem and all of the same on the imac. still cant get it to work.

I recently bought an Ipod touch 2nd gen, (Ebay). It's in great shape and seemed to be wiped clean.
When I connect (via windows computer) to Itunes with usb cord the Ipod icon shows, but the only function you can do is eject. When its in the upper right hand corner and you click on it all you get is a done button, when it's in the side bar right click and your only option is eject, left click has no effect. If I go to "file">devices it's as if there are no devices connected.
I purchased a song with Itunes on the Ipod itself, and it transferred to my library on the computer automatically .

My daughter has somehow figured out how to register for her own Apple ID but she is very underage. She is not giving me the correct info for me to get into her email. She has downloaded some apps that I would not allow. How can I recover her Apple ID info?
No it's not stealing. They have an allowance that you can share with so many computers/devices. You'll have to authorize her computer to play/use anything bought on your acct. You can do this under the Store menu at top when iTunes is open on her computer.
As far as getting it all on her computer....I think but I am not sure (because I don't use the feature) but I think if you turn on Home Sharing in iTunes it may copy the music to her computer. I don't know maybe it just streams it. If nothing else you can sign into your acct on her computer and download it all to her computer from the cloud. Not sure exactly how to go about that, I haven't had to do that yet. I wonder if once you authorize her computer and then set it up for automatic downloads (under Edit>Preferences>Store) if everything would download. Sorry I'm not much help on that. -
My daughter got locked out of her ipod touch 4th generation. It now says ipod disabled, connect to itunes. I have plugged it into my computer and to I tunes and It doesn't connect to either. I have plugged in my sons ipod using the same cord and his connects with itunes so I know its not the cord or usb ports on my laptop. I have tried holding the home button and power button until it shows a cord and the itunes icon and say connect to itunes and I still get nothing... Please help!!!

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Forgot passcode or device disabled
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

Everyone that has or had a iPhone, if they did not buy from the dealer, they purchased it from a individual...in most cases, the phone has to be unlocked unless it's being used with the same carrier as the seller. My question is, when you purchase the phone from a individual and it has been unlock and has the seller's information...e-mail/Apple ID information for iTunes..so I can't purchase anything from the apple store because I don't have his password...I was wondering how do I change that without resetting it to the original settings, is there any way I can purchase from the iTune Store with my own Apple ID. I sold my first iPhone, it was unlocked, and the guy that purchased my phone, set up it so he could use his own Apple ID, but, I never asked how he did that, because I did not think at the time I would purchase another iPhone... anyhow, does anyone have the answer...please advise...thanks in advance...Settings>Store>Apple ID, tap the ID shown, sign out, sign back in using your ID.

MY iPhone4 is connected to wi-fi, and all is fine at home. When i leave home, i do not get any of my whatsapp messages. When i return home, i get all the messages than was send during the day. Why does my phone not use the cellular network to get my whatsapp messages as my Nokia N8 did?

Whatsapp uses data services to send and receive messages. You need to be connected to the internet for that. -
