My Applications Folder seems to have gone missing from my dock. I can see it in the finder window but can't get it back to my dock. Any help would be appreciated!

Close all windows and quit all applications.
Launch Finder by clicking the Finder icon in the Dock.
Right click the "Application" folder and select "Get Info".
At the bottom of the resulting window there will be a blue folder icon in the preview section.
Drag the whole window to the right side of the desktop,closer to the Dock.
Now drag the blue preview folder to the Dock right of the separator line.
Right click the folder icon and select "Folder" under "Display as" if it is not shown as folder.

I am upgrading from iPhone 3 to 5. I have backed up my 3 on iTunes. I keep getting an error when I try to download all info to the 5. The error says I have disconnect my phone but I haven't. Happened multiple times. Any help would be appreciated.

Drivers seem to have gone missing from the hp drivers website
Most of the drivers HP used to provide for my laptop via Support Center seem to have gone missing. Some of them can be subsidized by installing the drivers windows update or hardware manufactures provide but for my switchable GPU this seems not to be the case at all. From what I gather the driver HP used to provide was custom. Is there any way I could acquire it? Is this new driver depravation situation permanent or will the old software eventually make a reappearance on the website?
I'm having the same problem finding drivers for my ProBook 4540s. I think hp may be adding more though because I think there were more drivers today than yesterday.

Using my USB, my ipod touch 2 is not recognized in Windows Vista or i tunes. If I connect it to my wifes Xp, ( where it was before) , it still charges up ( i tunes has been uninstalled. Any help would be appreciated. I have reinstalled itunes.

After removing the graphics card to have a look at it, due to a suspected graphics problem, my imac 2008 20" wont now start. There is no chime, no display but the fans run, starting off slowly then when turned off by the power button and then turned back on with power button held in, the speed of the fans ramps right up. Any ideas?

That means your iMac could not find a system to use for startup. That may mean the internal hard drive has become faulty, or the hard drive mechanism is fine, but the startup volume ("Macintosh HD" unless you renamed it) may have some type of data corruption that makes it unbootable.
First, you should try resetting PRAM

and if that does not help, use this procedure to reset SMC (power management). If your iMac is from 2008, this is the procedure for Intel (not PowerPC) Macs.

Disconnect all peripheral devices. When you connect it back to power, if you have been using a power strip of some type, try connecting it directly to a wall outlet, by itself (at least initially). Start up with nothing but the power cord connected, then add only standard mouse and keyboard. If it works, run it that way for a while.
If PRAM and SMC reset have no effect, you should insert your Mac OS X installation disc (for the currently installed system) in the optical drive, and restart with the C key held down. This should get you to the Installer screen, where you can run Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
In Disk Utility, does the internal hard drive appear in the sidebar? If so, select Macintosh HD in the sidebar and go to the First Aid tab. Use Repair Disk. If an error is found, note if Disk Utility was able to fix it or not.
You can then quit Disk Utility and attempt to restart normally. -
Patterns which do appear in the Adobe Photoshop CC, Preset, Patterns folder are not available as a "Fill" option.

You might also try resetting the photoshop cc preferences by:
Press and hold the Shift+Command+Option keys while starting photoshop cc
Keep holding the keys down until you get a dialog asking if you want to delete the adobe photoshop settings file

I'm using imovie 10.0.3 with OS x Version 10.9.2. or some reason I can't double click on iphoto events to siadplay the pictures within that event. I've rebuilt my iphoto library, but nothing seems to work. Any help would be appreciated.

Also no answer but am having the same problem. All my catalogueing via folders is up in smoke and no external HDs (where I would normally directly store raw footage when importing) showing up on the iMovie interface. It is a pain the arse to go back to the earlier version - why APPLE, pray tell, do you continue to lower expectations user-friendly functions. Shall try the option+open for a library but this too is extremely inconvenient if it works like iPhoto because you have to log out to log in to a new library whereas I just want to be able to see my multiple HDs directly from the iMovie menu and then the folders within folders I have layered in there - to make it easy to FIND STUFF. Wake up Apple, you are NOT meeting your customer's needs or desires.

Just got Mac book pro. I can't connect to office remotely thru the remote window. My office is window based and I have no problem connecting while at the office thru the server but cannot at home. Any help would be appreciated!

That teh MacBook cannot connect with RWW because it requires Active-X to connect. That MAc browsers (Safari) do not use Active-X but only Windows (IE) uses Active-X control.
It would seem to me that there must be a way around this. Any help?
