My Appp update button shows new update program totals, but whe I click update, I get a blank screen
My app update button does not bring up the progams to be update in itunes update
Try updating from here:
App Store>Purchased>Select "All"
Note: You'll have to look out for apps that have the word "Update"

I already have ios 7.0 installed in my iphone 4S. Although the size of ios 7.0.2 shows only a few MB, but when i click update using from my itunes it shows it is downloading 1.19GB. Why is this ? Do i have to download 1.19 GB?
If you update using iTunes, the full iOS is downloaded. If you update directly on your phone, this is called a "Delta" update, & only the changes to the iOS are downloaded. That's why you see the difference you see.

Upon updating to the new Photos program, all the previous "My Ratings" (1-5 stars) for photos have been removed. Why? My "Smart Albums" using the "My Ratings", i.e. photos with a 5 star rating within the past year, have been virtually destroyed in the update. The updates "modified" Smart
Album deleted the "My Ratings" parameter, retained the Date parameter so now Smart Album includes every photo within the date range parameter. Where are the "My Ratings" capabilities ? It appears they have been removed. If so, why ?Photos doesn't have true star ratings.
However, when photos are migrated from iPhoto or Aperture to Photos, they will have keywords assigned, like "1 star" or "5 stars". You can create smart albums based on these keywords.
You can also assign keyboard shortcuts so if you're in the keyword pane and type 1, it will assign the "1 star" keyword. -
my itunes wont open it tells me that my itunes library was updated by a newer version on itunes but my software is uptodate any one else have this prob?
Look under your Start Menu for Apple Software Update, but before doing that, check the time and date on your computer that it's correct.
It's also saying the iTunes Library .XML file in your iTunes Folder file is new, for some reason, but your songs should be still in the iTunes Folder.
You can move the XML file out and restart iTunes and it shoudl creat another, you lose your playlists and have to import all your music again. -
Ever since I updated InDesign CC (2014) approximately 22 days ago... I CANNOT get the welcome screen to not come on at the launch on InDesign. I set the preferences in InDesign to NOT show the welcome screen upon launch, but it will NOT hold the preferences i choose. Anyone else have any other ideas? I am about to lose my mind... I hate you ADOBE!!!
that s just the problem, that is why my level of frustration is boiling over ... I have told InDesign over and over again "Do Not Show Again" but it will just not hold the settings. It might hold it for a day or so, but then suddenly there it is again on another launch. Very very annoying.

New update are listed on the app icon. When I click update all I'm prompted to enter password. When I do, the progress bars go away and nothing gets updated. Tried logging out, reset iPad, and nothing seems to work. Keeps asking me to enter password.
I've been having the same problem for days and just solved it. Tried going to Apple ID and had all the same problems you did in the second paragraph. I signed out with my current username on the ipad under settings--->store and signed back in with my oldest apple id and password. Now the apps don't ask for a password to upgrade. I too had a username that wasn't an email address and had to change to one that was at some point. That's what caused the problems. Hope this can work for you.

Just bought a nano and want to download some of my iTunes library. The "Music" button shows almost all my selections but some albums are missing, yet ONLY those albums appear on the nano icon on my desktop after being dragged there but none of the others. What's happening?
I've read some of the post here that I thought might help but they refer to titles (Music) and triangles in the "Devices" window which are nowhere to be seen when I open the "Devices" window.
I have iTunes 11.0.3 and Mac OS 10.6.8. Does this make a difference?I should mention that, for the first problem, I do make sure that my new tracks are stored in the folder where I told iTunes that my music is in. Also, when I say the cataloging of my library stops short of cataloging all my songs, I have tried leaving the computer unattended for days (my computer's sleep mode is disabled). It always stops before cataloging all of my music regardless of whether I am doing something else while iTunes is cataloging, or if I just let iTunes be the only program that's open during the cataloging process.

In Options --> General --> I want the option to "Show my windows and tabs from last time" '''''AND''''' "Show my homepage", but that choice isn't given. When I open a new tab, I'd like to see my iGoogle page, not a blank screen. Hope you can help. D
You can middle-click or Ctrl left-click the Home button on the Navigation toolbar to open the Home page in a new tab.

I have tried to update but keep getting I am not on Internet. I'm on it right now on my Ipad, but when I click update it says I'm not. How do I update?
Check this first, settings>General>date & time>set automatically>on. Make sure the time zone setting is also correct,
Then restart the iPad. If you still can't update or get the message about not being connected to the internet, reset the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -
i keep getting a update notification for iMovie but when i click update it prompts a different apple id and it dose not allow me to change the apple id so I'm left with the old iMovie and no way to update ?? need help
Deleting and redownloading will not fix it unless it shows as part of your purchases, which it likely doesn't.
The resolution will depend on how you got the app in the first place. Check my response here Lost iWorks apps after Yosemite clean install different app, but same thing.
If your Mac came with the dvd version, you never tied them to your Apple ID (assuming eligibility to do so), sometimes signing out/in from the App Store fixes it, allowing you to accept under purchases (see my other post). Otherwise, you'll need to contact Apple. -
How do I enable my iPod? I am trying to update the apps but when I click "Update All", a pop up "Your Apple ID has been disabled." How do I change it so I can enable my iPod? My iPod is not locked (I know my password), but I just can't figure out how to enable it. Thanks.

You need to update to iTunes 10.x. However, to do that you need to ugrade your computer's OS to at least 10,5,8. That is a paid upgrade.
