My APPS application shows an update is available yet it doesn't show the APP. What's going on?
My APPS application shows I have updates available yet when I view it, it doesn't show the APP. I have to download it from iTunes to my Phone. What is going on?
If you have two apple IDs then try logging in with the other ID. Apps are locked to the ID that was used to download then in the first place

Make certain you are typing in the correct credit card number, selecting the correct expiration date from the pop up menus and are using the correct Security Code from the back of your credit card.
Make sure your billing address is the same on your credit card account that you entered under Billing Address.
Now click Done bottom right side of the App Store window.

Application shows - "The server refused the connection " when I click on project from ATG BCC and then layout. Can you please tell me the cause of the error and the log file where i need to debug. We have deployed on Weblogic Server.

You can see ATG server log, located at ATGXXX/home/servers/yourPublishingServer/logs, and you can see your wwblogic server log.
In WebLogic, the logs are located at domains/your_domain/server/yourPublishingServer/logs.
Check the logs and then return with it, so we can help you.

You must have a payment method in your iTunes account, even for free content. It is used to verify your identity. See: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534 for information on how to create a billing method if you don't have a credit card.

I am running system 10.5.8 on my 17" mac pro laptop and using Firefox 3.6.17, I have tried on several occasions to install your new version 4 and when I drag icon onto my applications folder it tells me I have a newer version already there (which is now the 3.6.17). What is going on?
Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac. There is a third party version of Firefox 4 that runs on OS X 10.4/10.5 and PPC Macs, for details see http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox

I not able to open any links in the emails I receive and get an "Error: No associated application could be found" when I click on a link. HELP!! What's going on? This happened after I downloaded Chrome and then decided to delete it.

My iPhone 4 doesn't have the software update option
In order to have that option you need to be on IOS 5.0 or higher.
to update plug your phone to your computer, open itunes and it will detect that your phone needs an update.
Make sure you backup first then update. -
I updated from ios 5.0.1 to 5.1. Midway through the update itunes crashed. I got it all working again and ever since I have been stuck in a recovery loop. DFU mode works fine, but when I go into recovery mode (yes I am doing it right, yes I have tried pwning, tinyumbrella, etc.) it still just gives me a white screen (I am not getting the plug arrow and itunes icon screen that shows up when you are in recovery mode). I am a huge fan of hacking, mods, and jbs, BUT have never done any on the iPad, (found it pointless).. nevertheless, I am stuck thanks to apple in a white screen and a nonworking iPad. If anyone has any ideas that does not include jbs, updating, restoring, restoring with internet off, restoring in DFU, I would gladly appreciate it. I would take it to the apple store but it was a friends and I didn't purchase it. My friend had the issue formerly and they had no idea what to do at apple (they usually try DFU, restore, and then have nothing else to tell you.

On the previous version of FF the All-in-One side bar showed my Bookmarks OK. Upgrading to FF4 has lost them all, except a recent one, from the sidebar. However they are available from the drop-down via the Firefox button at top left. Then when I go to 'show all bookmarks' the only one shown is the recent one. Saving the bookmarks results in that single one being saved only! Deleting all the bookmarks and re-installing a backup results in the same happening, they list ok on the dropdown but not in the side bar. Any ideas?
This can be caused by a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Why is so hard for FCE or iMovie to read AVCHD files?
I have some AVCHD files (.MTS) on a hard disk. No camera. And no, the directory format has not been preserved. The files were just copied, and renamed for backup purposes. "Log and Transfer..." in FCE gives me an error about the directory structure.
