My apps have no sound without ear phones in(IP4).

Currently, my apps on my IP4 have no sound.
There is only sound when the phone plugged into the ear phone and listened through earphones.

If you do not hear sound from the speakers on your iPhone, these steps can help:
Verify that the volume is set to a level you would normally be able to hear.
Ensure that there is nothing plugged in to the headset jack or the dock connector.
If the iPhone is in a protective case, make sure that the speaker port isn't blocked by the case.
Make sure that the speaker and dock port aren't clogged with debris. If necessary, clean it with a clean, small, dry, soft-bristled brush. Carefully and gently brush away any debris.
If an audio issue occurs when using a specific application, try testing other applications to see if the issue persists.
If the iPhone is paired with a Bluetooth headset or car kit:
Try turning off Bluetooth.
If you experience difficulties with the Bluetooth feature, followthese troubleshooting steps.
Restart the iPhone.
If restarting doesn't fix the issue, ensure that your iPhone is updated to the latest version of iOS.
If the issue is not resolved after restoring the iPhone software, please contact Apple Support.

    Have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the iPod and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.
    Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar.     Try this  - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

    Ear-phone works fin, Skype works fine but all other sounds (spotify, media player, itunes ) do not work when unplugging earphones.

  • APPS HAVE NO SOUND

    CNN AND FOXNEWS APP HAVE NO NOTIFICATION SOUNDS IN MY IPHONE 5.

    First, go to Settings and make sure "Do Not Disturb" is off.
    If it is, go to Settings > Sounds and make sure the "Ringer & Alerts" volume slider is away from the left side.
    If the Ringer & Alerts volume is on, go to Settings > Notifications > (an app that is not giving notification sounds) and make sure the "Notification Center" and "Sounds" switches are both on.
    If none of this works, search the silent apps' settings to make sure all of the notification sound options are on.

    I have  a few learn to read apps and the sound is on but there is no sound. One of them is hooked on phonics and it works on my iPhone but mot on my IPad mini. its suppose to read the word and the child repeat it but it's not reading it.     YouTube and Radio app is playing fine through speaker but games app like Plants and Zombies, Cat Toy, Infinity Plade, Angry Birds, KOI Ponds etc have no sound just today :(

  • Some apps have no sound since updating my iPad to ios7. Any ideas?

    Two apps I have that catalogue YouTube golf clips have no sound since I updated to iOS 7. If I play the clips from You Tube, they work!!! The .03 update has not helped. Am I the only one or are other having issues with sound?

    Apple does not provide an option to downgrade to a previous version of iOS.  If glitches occur wth some apps, try a reboot:
    press and hold the home and power buttons until the Apple icon is displayed, then let go.
    Something else to try:
    Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings.  Some users report this speeds up their devices.

    - Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so.
    Try the following to rule out a software problem
    - Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost
    Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Reset all settings
    Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
    All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup
    - Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
    - Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. Seems you have a bad headphone jack.

  • How do you find out what apps have been downloaded to what phone with 5 lines under one apple ID?  HELP Nobody from the stores know how to do it.

    How can you get a list of apps that were downloaded from each indivudal phone?  The are under one Apple ID.  Ex:  Phone #1234 has downloaded Facebook and Twitter.  Phone # 4567 downloaded Angry Birds and Temple Run.  Etc.    Even the people at ATT and Apple don't know how to retrieve it. 

    There is no such list of what is downloaded to each phone except in the backup. So if you have a recent backup of each phone you should be able to find an app that reads the backup files and would tell you what list is saved of the content on each phone.

    Most of the posts I have read with sound problems seem to be directly linked to the red light on.
    I have no red light on and have tried all the solutions on here I can find.
    I have no speaker sound or headphone sound. Seems to be locked into the digital out too.
    Is anyone else experiencing this problem and had any success with solutions or taken it into Apple.

    I don't have any red lights inside my headjack slot. Also, in lifting up the MBP, I realized there were flashing green dots on the bottom.
