  • Certain music pieces and apps won't download from my iPod to iTunes on my MacBook

I want to put what is on my iPod on my new MacBook, but certain pieces and apps won't download because my computer isn't authorized (so it will delete it from my iPod if I sync), but when it asks me to authorize it it uses an old Apple ID that doesn't exist anymore and to which I do not have access. Any ideas how to fix this? I just want to be able to sync my iPod with this computer without worrying about losing anything.

  • Migration From OS X Mavericks to New Mac Air that is set with 10.8.4 Mountain Lion. It is not working

Bought a new Mac Air this week. Tried to Migrate my files, etc from my old Mac Air running OS X 10.9 Mavericks. Discovered after repated attempts, that the new Mac Air has 10.8.4 Mountain Lion. Could this be why it will not work?

I would imagine so. I doubt the Migration Assistant is designed to go backwards.

  • Moving data from old computer to my new mac  air

How do I, physically, move data from my old macbook pro to the new mac air I just ordered?

    Here's one way...
Get another External Hard Drive... Format it to Mac OS Extended (journaled)... Drag and Drop the items you want from the Old Computer to the New External...
Then when you get your New Mac... connect the External Drive to it and Drag and Drop the items to the New Mac...

  • Apps won't download onto my phone :(

Each time I try to download or update my apps my phone tells me I am entering the wrong password or username which I know is false because I am using it to log on now and post this. After attempting to enter the password enough times it tells me it cannot connect to the iTunes store.
Anyway, any help is greatly appreciated- this has been very frustrating.

I have a similar problem (and I have tried different sync options, plus starting restarting, rebooting, etc.). When I select an app and press install, all seems to go well, but the app does not show on my iphone--but does on my macbook. When I try ti select the app again, using my i phone , it shows already installed. This happens about half the time, and mostly with very new apps. My i phone has the latest everything, and worked fine from my May 09 purchase to about a couple of weeks ago. Any suggestions?

If the Doctor doesn't work, then probably nothing will.  Run a search for doctoring and you can find how to do it.  A phone Help-person from Palm instructed me how to do it, and there is a Palm.com page that has the file to download, and I believe instructions with how to do it.
Anyways, I'm coming to think that if no one replies to a question or problem, then they don't know how to fix it, or there is no fix for it yet.
My wife's pixi had the download problem, too - Strangely my Pixi does not.  I'm just hoping that the newest WebOS will fix all bugs and issues.

  • Apps won't download from CC

Please help!  I'm trying to download Photoshop CC and Illustrator CC and they stop at 42%.  The error message says zero errors.  What's up?
This first happened trying to download the free trial.  Foolishly I thought if I went ahead and subscribed it would actually work, so I did that, but the results are the same: none.

My apps won't download to my iPad but will to my phone. When I put it my password, it just stops and won't do anything else????

Unless you have a copy of the iPod backup file from the previous computer installation you are out of luck. If yo have that file move it to your computer and restore the iPod from that backup.  Otherwise, you will have to restore the iPod to factoery defaults/new iPod and lose all your app date. That is the way it is since the iPod sees the computer as a new computer/iTunes library.  That backup file is located:
    Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/
    Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
    Windows Vista and Windows 7: \Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\

  • Help! Can't access iCloud (pics apps) even with correct password. Won't download my stored info on my new phone

Help! Can't access iCloud (pics apps) even with correct password. Won't download my stored info on my new phone

That happens because photo stream photos only remain in iCloud for 30 days, even though your last 1000 photo stream photos remain on your devices until deleted.  When you enabled photo stream on your iPod 4, you only received photo stream photos from the last 30 days as older photos are no longer in iCloud.  If you want to stream these older photos to your new iPod, you will have to create a shared photo stream on your old one that contains these photos (requires iOS 6 or higher) and invite yourself as a subscriber, as explained here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mmc0cd7e99.

  • How do you find out what apps have been downloaded to what phone with 5 lines under one apple ID?  HELP Nobody from the stores know how to do it.

How can you get a list of apps that were downloaded from each indivudal phone?  The are under one Apple ID.  Ex:  Phone #1234 has downloaded Facebook and Twitter.  Phone # 4567 downloaded Angry Birds and Temple Run.  Etc.    Even the people at ATT and Apple don't know how to retrieve it.

There is no such list of what is downloaded to each phone except in the backup. So if you have a recent backup of each phone you should be able to find an app that reads the backup files and would tell you what list is saved of the content on each phone.
