My artwork is not showing up.

All my songs are fromm itunes but when I updated my iphone all the artwork is missing how do I get it back on?

On iTunes, select each song making sure that they all show the artwork at the left lower corner. Then resync again. That should fix.

  • My podcast artwork is not showing in the iTunes store or in the Podcasts app

My podcast, the Legal Seagull, was recently posted to iTunes. The problem is that the artwork is not showing in the iTunes store or on the iPhone's Podcasts app. Once you actually download the episodes, the image does appear.
I verified that my image is 1400 X 1400; however, it does appear to be around 700kb. I have seen some posts about how you should try to keep it under 500kb, but I haven't seen anything official from Apple to that effect.
I note that there is a man out there called Roger Wilmut, who is extremely knowledgable about this issue and has responded to many similar questions. Mr. Wilmut, if you are out there, could you please advise whether my feed is set up correctly? If it is just a waiting process, I'm fine with that- I just want to make sure that I've set everything correctly on my end.
    Feed: http://www.thelegalseagull.com/feed/podcast
    iTunes link: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/the-legal-seagull-podcast/id886005819?mt=2
    Thanks!

OK, looks like the problem has resolved! All it took was a few days of waiting patiently

  • My podcast artwork is not showing up... please help!

Hi there.  I have submitted my podcast to iTunes and received the email almost a week ago that it was accepted.  It is showing up in iTunes, but the artwork is not showing up and I have no clue what to do to make it show up properly.
Here is my xml feed link:
    http://www.pastor2youth.com/videos/Fearfully_and_Wonderfully_Made.xml
I would GREATLY appreciate any help that anyone could give me on this as I have exhausted everything I know to do to try and get the artwork to show up.
    Thanks!!!

The image is correctly referenced in the feed, and there is a file at that address. It's not unusual for it to take several days after a podcast first appears in the Store before the image appears, so it's just a matter of waiting.

  • Artwork is not showing up on iTunes and on my iphone.

Artwork is not showing up on iTunes and on my iphone.  Why is this?

I am having the same problem, i edited everything multiple times, sometime my album artwork will show up and then disappear after time. I have tried everything, even wiping my ipads music library and changing each file to AAC format, the artwork remains in my itunes when i pull up a song but as soon as i transfer the music to my ipad, everything loads successfully...EXCEPT the album artwork. Really annoying!! I really wish i could find an answer before I load all of my music back on and just give up on the search for answers,
please get in touch with me if you find out how to fix this and i will do the same for you.
I have twitter, facebook, myspace, tumblr, about me, google & aol
    thank you

Does anyone have any solutions of why when you sync your iphone 4 the album artwork does not show in your play lists?  This has happened since I have updated to the ISO.5.0.1?  Any ideas?  Thanks.

Which version of Edge are you using?
Please update to the latest version of Edge which is 2014.1.1 if it's not already, and then try to reproduce this issue.

  • Podcast artwork does not show in ITunes store

I recently began producing a music podcast http://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/felony-buddha/id375837423.
I am using blogger http://www.felonybuddha.com and feedburner http://www.felonybuddha.com/feeds/posts/default?alt=rss.
Initially I did not have the artwork url in SmartCast but I updated Smartcast
on 06/04/2010 with this url http://4.bp.blogspot.com/PuXcBmmd7sY/TAmrnudmrHI/AAAAAAAAAAM/W8kCV6S3N2U/s1600/iStock000010405007XSmall.jpg. I sent a Ping but the podcast artwork still does not show in Itunes store.
What am I doing wrong? Thank you for your help.

The Feedburner feed is probably OK: it does have the declaration and the correct image reference.. As there are no line returns separating the tags it appears either as one or two long lines or as a slab of text, so it's very difficult to read, and you might want to go through your original feed if you can, and put some line returns in.
Assuming it to be OK, you have two possibilities: both involve you editing the original feed.
    For clarity let's label the feeds;
Feed 1 is your original, http://www.felonybuddha.com/feeds/posts/default?alt=rss
    Feed 2 is the Feedburner-generated one, http://feeds.feedburner.com/felonybuddha/MhvA
Method 1: amend feed 1 to contain the necessary tags. The top section of the feed should read:
    <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>
    <rss xmlns:atom='http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom'
    xmlns:openSearch='http://a9.com/-/spec/opensearchrss/1.0/'
    xmlns:georss='http://www.georss.org/georss'
    xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' version='2.0'
    xmlns:itunes="http://www.itunes.com/dtds/podcast-1.0.dtd" version="2.0">
    <channel>
Then in the top section of the feed, after 'channel' and before the first 'item' tag, add:
    <itunes:image href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/PuXcBmmd7sY/TAmrnudmrHI/AAAAAAAAAAM/W8kCV6S3N2U/s1600/iStock000010405007XSmall.jpg" />
making sure you don't get this inside another tag (and there must be no line breaks within this). There are still other tags missing, which though they aren't essential, ought really to be there.
Method 2: this might be preferable - redirect iTunes to Feed 2. Feedburner does add a lot of garbage to the feed (intended for compatibility with other rss readers) but they shouldn't cause any problems; however there are some caveats, see below. The method:
You will need to add the following tag to Feed 1, after the 'channel' tag and before the first 'item' tag:
    <itunes:new-feed-url>http://feeds.feedburner.com/felonybuddha/MhvA</itunes:new-feed-url>
Before doing this you should read this Apple Tech Note just so that you are completely clear what you are doing.
Re-upload the feed and leave it there until iTunes has changed to the new feed - this may take some days. To check whether it's changed, go to the Store page for your podcast, click on the 'Subscribe' button, go to the 'Podcasts' section in the sidebar, and click on the 'i' button on the extreme right of the line for your overall podcast (not the episode). The pane which pops up contains the feed iTunes is using.
    Caveats:
Make sure you get the URL exactly right in the redirect. If you make a mistake *you will not be able to get it back* once iTunes has redirected.
Be aware that once you have transferred to Feed 2 you cannot edit that feed directly, only the feed you submit to Feedburner. This may possibly mean that if you later want to redirect to another feed you won't be able to.

  • Bought an album but artwork is not showing

It's amazing that it is possible to buy an album in the Itunes store but the artwork doesn't show once it's bought....
I have tried getting it separately through 'Get Album Artwork' and via 'File' > 'Get Info' > 'Artwork' > 'Add Artwork' using a small 8 kB (!!!) picture of the album artwork downloaded from the internet. It just won't work.
This is not the first time. About 1/4 of my music library is not showing any artwork !!!
My next laptop and tablets won't be Apple anymore. This is only one of many issues I have with Apple. Next time it will be Samsung or Windows-based again !

  • Album Name and Artwork do not show up on AAC protected files?

If I import a protected AAC album from the Itunes store and then burn a CD of that album, and then try to play in on another computer Mac or PC none of track names or artwork shows up and gracenote says it does not exist.
    Any suggestions?

Gracenote tries to recognize CDs by the pattern of track lengths. When you burn a CD from purchased tracks, it may not come out exactly like the commercial version of the album did, and Gracenote doesn't recognize it.
To "teach" Gracenote about your album, finish burning the CD, and with the CD still in the drive, use the command *Advanced > Submit CD Track Names*. Give Gracenote a day or so, and after that it will recognize your CD on any computer running iTunes.

  • IPhone Artwork does not show up in coverflow

    Hello,
A few months ago I sync'd my iPhone (usually do this every other week or so) and when I checked the coverflow in the iPhone most of the albums have the stock musical symbol; the cover art is no longer showing up.
It's not consistent though - other albums show up just fine. Tried the following:
    • Deleting all of the music and resyncing - same thing.
    • Restoring iPhone to factory settings, reinstalled everything but the songs...then sync'd the songs again (they're attached to a smart playlist) - nothing.
    • Clearing and re-adding the album art in iTunes. Still no go.
Note that the album artwork shows up fine in my iPod and in iTunes.
    Does anyone have any suggestions?

Also tried deleting the playlist from iTunes and remaking it. No luck.

  • Help! The album artwork is not showing on my ipod!

    Hi!
I bought a ipod nano 3 days ago and i'm really excited about it! But I tried everything to put an artwork for my songs. I went on iTunes and set the artwork by going into file - get info, and I added the image file in the artwork section. And I clicked on the "display album artwork on your iPod" in iPod options. I really don't know what else to do. Please help me~! =*(
      Windows XP

    Hi,
    Welcome to Apple Discussions
Check with this link to see if you've missed anything:
    http://www.apple.com/support/ipod101/tunes/2/#4
Add Song Information, Lyrics, and Artwork to My Tunes
The artwork should then just sync with your nano. If it still doesn't work have a look at The 5 Rs: Reset, Retry, Restart, Reinstall & Restore to see if the problem is with the nano not iTunes.

  • Album artwork is not showing up in the albums tab

.... but is there when I select the track.  How can I get it to show up under the albums tab under music?  THis is only a problem for specific, seemingly random albums.

    Did you do everything here:
iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows
    Including
Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
    or
Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7
New cable and different USB port?
Runs this and see if the results help with determine the cause

  • Artwork viewer not showing multiple artwork

I have a whole heap of tracks with multiple art. With update to iTunes 10.5.1 the artwork viewer no longer shows the little arrows in the bar which allow one to browse the viewer. I have checkd that iTunes "sees" the artwork by doing Get Info and changing the order of the artwork and the first cover always shows, but no indication that there is multiple art in the viewer. Anyone else with the same problem ?

Yes, it is an issue with the current build. Hopefully the arrows will be restored in the next one.

  • My podcast artwork is not showing in iTunes.

I just noticed this today: the artwork for my podcast (Anything Ghost) is missing from iTunes. I also noticed this with a couple of other podcasts, as well. Was there a change in the artwork requirements on iTunes?
I've been running this podcast since 2006, and have never had this problem, nor have I made any changes to my artwork within the past few months.
When I noticed the artwork was gone, I uploaded a new piece of artwork at a lower resolution, but it doesn't seem to have any affect.
I use Libsyn for my podcast service.
Please let me know if you have any idea what is wrong, as the Halloween season is approaching and this is the time when I get most of my downloads.
    Thanks!
    Lex

    Lex,
Make sure the file size of the image is under 500 kb.
So the overall specs for artwork are:
    1,400 x 1,400 pixels.
.png or  .jpg (RGB)  - NOT (CMYK)
    and file size <500 kb
We have seen issues with artwork that meets all the top specs - but the file size is over 500 kb.

  • Just published my podcast, but the artwork is not showing up.  How can I make this magic happen?

I just recently published a podcast, and since the name is similar to many others, the artwork will be critical in allowing others to find it.  How can I make it visible?

If your image is correctly referenced in the feed it will appear in the Store page, but for a new podcast it cn take some days after the podcast appears in the Store before the image appear, so I'm afraid it's just a question of waiting.
