My artwork wont load now that itunes went from 9.0.1.8 to 9.0.2.25

I had uploaded a bunch of my own CDs to itunes 9.0.1.8. I was having no problem adding my own artwork. But now itunes is at 9.0.2.25 and it does not allow me to add my own artwork.
The only way i have found to get it to work is to use the right mouse button and convert my MP3s to MP3s again. Now that they have been created in 9.0.2.25 i can add artwork again.
Has anyone run into this issue and/or know of an easy fix other than re-creating all the MP3s again.
Is this a known bug with itunes??
Thanks.

  • Can I load a new iTunes account from my backed up iPhone?

Can I load a new iTunes account from my backed up iPhone?

you can connect the iPhone to your mac and import those iPhone photos and videos to iPhoto assuming you have iPhoto. You can create a folder and export all those photos to the Finder. Keep safe somewhere.  Also keep the iPhoto library for safe keeping. When you restore your iPhone you can sync all those photos back to the iPhone. so you will lose nothing. Just remember when you export from iPhoto select jpeg for photos and original for videos taken with the iPhone.

  • Now that iTunes Match has hosed my library completely...how do I EASILY get back the albums and songs they didn't match from my hard drive?

iTunes match is a mess.  I am not going to go into all the details unless specifically asked but it's useless.  Now that I've turned it off I have found that the songs that iTunes could not Match to the iCloud iTunes is no longer able to find!  So it wants ME to manually match each song to the location on my hard drive.  This is an Apple joke right?
There has got to be a better way!  Restore from backup...love to!   Will that pull all my music if I was using iTunes Match at the last synch?  Help a girl out...I just want my music back.
    Sincerely,
And Irish girl who is NOT smiling!

The details are important - you'll have to spill them all, at lest the relevant ones, because this isn't a game of 20 questions. But I'll bite anway -
Are you using iTunes on a Mac or a PC?
    iTunes 10 or iTunes 11?
Did you add the files before turning on match, or after? or both (if both, which batch were the missing files in)?
After you turned on match, did you delete your files thinking you no longer need them?
Did you have iTunes set to copy and organize your files, or had you taken the manual route? (the settings are in iTunes Preferences, under "Advanced")
Have you recently renamed your hard drive, or some of your folders, or moved a folder that had music in it?
Does the location of your music library in iTunes Preferences --> Advanced match the actual location of your music?
Right-click one of the missing songs, and choose "Get Info" - does the location of the file match where it really is on the hard drive? If not, what's different?
Do you care about things like play counts, last played dates etc.? If not, you can just re-add all your music files (basically, start over fresh)

  • HT1373 I have a MacBook Pro and newer PC. Both are authorized for my iTunes account. How do I copy or download all my library to the PC? Purchased through iTunes and loaded into my iTunes library from CDs I purchased?

I have a MBP and a newer PC .... Both are authorized for my iTunes acount and have current versions of iTunes. How do I copy all of my iTunes library (purchased and uploaded from CDs I purchased) onto the hard drives?

The best way is to copy the iTunes library from your Mac to the PC, so you will move everything, not only your songs. See > http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1751 (You have to do the "Restoring your iTunes Library backup" step on the PC)

  • Pre-order wont download now that it is available

I preordered an album that became available today, but it won't download and I haven't recieved an email saying that it is available. When I sign in and go to the album it now says purchased instead of preordered but I am given no link to download the album. I tried cancelling the preorder, but to no avail. How do I download the album?

Wow, and to think that I was the ONLY one who is currently experiencing this problem. It seems that we ALL are....well, those of us that pre-ordered Tamar Braxton's new album this is happening to. I've restarted itunes, reinstalled, went to the quick "purchased" link and to no avail. Just kept saying that it's "Purchased" but got nothing. I even looked in my account history and it's not there  BUT IS there in my Pre-orders (my only other recent purchase was "Rebellious Soul" by K. Michelle). Took a page out of your book and tried to cancel the Pre-Order to by the album normal but it won't even give me the option to buy it as well. The "Purchased" box is "grayed out". Never got the email notice about the preorder or anything. I don't recall anything of this nature happening before. Just like you all, I want this fixed as well. Seems we have a lot angry "Tamartians" here, Apple...fix it

  • Now that iTunes is removing DRM...

Ok DRM is going away as announced at MacWorld
    http://www.kval.com/news/37158544.html
    So....
Does this mean that there will be no more need to authorize/deauthorize computers?
Will there be a utility to convert existing purchased songs or whole libraries/playlists to a non-DRM format (MP3?) en mass or will you still have to export songs individually?
Will there be a new version of iTunes to support non-DRM?
    When will all this happen?

Does this mean that there will be no more need to authorize/deauthorize computers?
Depends on what happens with music you already own that already has DRM.
If it can all be upgraded to iTunes Plus (doubtful), then you will not need to authorize.
Will there be a utility to convert existing purchased songs or whole libraries/playlists to a non-DRM format (MP3?) en mass or will you still have to export songs individually?
Depends. No, it won't be MP3. It will still be AAC but without DRM.
Will there be a new version of iTunes to support non-DRM?
iTunes has supported non-DRM songs since day one.

  • Open email & top of bar says fire fox not responding & get script error on page asking to stop script or continue. Loading most mail or sites is slow now that I returned from Japan and using same laptop. Any ideas?

my laptop stops responding when I open email right in the middle of writing email or checking email and when I open bookmarks. Up the top it says firefox not responding and a script error block opens asking me to continue or stop script. It give me this same error all the time no matter if I select continue or stop script.

As far as email sites go. The "Adblock Plus" extension with at least the "EasyList US" filter subscription would probably help. I does block a lot of unnecessary Script files whose sole purpose is to provide advertising. You can of course add additional filter subscriptions or filters of your own.
There are many extensions that can cause such problems, and you may have to go through your extensions.
One thing you might do is eliminate Problematic Extensions that you are not using, but mainly check to see how the create problems and you may have to make a choice between extensions. The Unresponsive Script Warning page lists some extensions with problems (thought it listed more) and describes how to check through your extensions to help find which extension is the problem Sometimes the message will tell you.

  • You Tube wont play now that Flash player has been updated

    Hi guys
I'm new to Mac and not a rocket scientist so I'll try to explain my problem and hopefully someone can help
I bought this new Mac Book Pro in Glasgow about three months ago, I remember at first that youtube wouldn't play so I called the Apple care centre who gave me a very simple fix which I can't remember
Last week I got an alert from Adobe Flash Player to download a new version which I did, unfortunately my youtube has stopped working (a message appears in the centre of the intended video saying that I have to download flash player etc)
Called the tech guys again and they did the usual uninstall and re install etc on both Adobe and Java all to no avail.  They told me it was an Adobe issue and that I should call them, when I called Adobe, guess what? they said it was an apple issue !!  Back to the beginning
Can anyone give me a hint as to how this can be resolved pleased as I'm at the end of the road in terms of ideas.  Please for my benefit could you keep it as simple as possible
    Appreciate your help
    Thanks
    Bill

From the menu bar, select  ▹ System Preferences ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced ▹ Updates. Click the button labeled Check for Updates.

  • IpadAir wont allow me access Itunes store from it

I got the iPad air yesterday and it seems awesome so far however despite trying numerous fixes (lol if you can call restarting it a legtimate fix) I am left without a store.
    Things I have tried
    +Restarting it
    +Holding down the power/home button
+clickin buy on a song from shazam to force the itunes app to work
+left it loading for about 10 minutes
    +googled the problem
    +used alternative interent sources
    What actually happens,
I click Itunes on the tablet and it comes up with a white screen with a loading thing in the middle, after about 30 seconds it looks like it will work (shudders and stops loading) only to continue to load forever afterwards.
Now if I know Apple, they wouldn't want me to NOT buy music and films, I mean, they love money right?
So pleae help me community <3
Listed under Ipad 2 becaue air isn't there?

Close the iTunes app and reboot the iPad.
Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the iTunes app and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If that fails, try resetting all settings. You will have to enter all of the device settings again if you do this. Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings.

  • Time Machine doesn't recognize my backups now that I restored from it.

After installing Lion 7.1 from the app store overy my Snow Leopard, my mid-2009 2.8 GHz MBP (15") started acting wonky . . . Would freeze up randomly, need to be hard-reset, would open up windows on boot-up that I DID NOT have open before (even if I unchecked the option to "re-open windows when logging back in"), would not remember certain preferences, etc.
Called Apple tech, all he could suggest was format/reinstall using the fun, new recovery feature in Lion, if the 7.2 update didn't somehow magically fix my problems. It didn't, so I made sure my time machine back-up was complete, booted into recovery, wiped the Macintosh HD, and re-installed Lion from the web. Took forever, but no problems, so I get to the part where I want to recover from Time Machine, and say to restore everything expcept my settings (in case something from settings before was causing the issues). It does all of this, no problem, and I log into my Mac and everything looks the same as before.
NOW, Time Machine wants to back-up, as usual, and I think it will look at the system and say, "Oh, yeah, I've got all this . . . I mean, you just restored from me, so I'll just take a few snapshots or whatever and back up every hour (or whatever I do)." But Time Machine ain't saying that. Time Machine says," Oh, you have a bunch of crap on this hard drive already, but I need more room to back up your computer." And I'm saying, "No buddy, that's not a bunch of crap, that IS the back-up of this computer. Just reference that!"
Except, see, I'm SAYING that to my computer . . . But it can't hear me, obviously. How do I get my computer to understand that I don't need a new back-up from scracth, that the hard-drive I restored from IS the TM backup?
Sorry for not being able to explain this problem more efficiently. Thanks in advance.

Oh yeah, and the other thing is, now I CAN'T go back in time using my Time Machine back-up . . . It says I've never backed up now (I guess because this is a fresh install that's TECHNICALLY correct), but I restored from this Time Machine file . . . Surely I've done something wrong that can be fixed. Help, please?

  • Recovering photos that iTunes deleted from iPad.

I just got a new mac computer and recently tried syncing all of my pictures on my iPad with iTunes. I've never backed up the iPad on iCloud or anything like that. When I clicked sync I noticed that step 1 said "Deleting Photos". Once it was done I looked through my iPad and noticed that about 100 pictures were missing. Why it deleted only some and not all I have no idea. But I really want those pictures back! I've tried googling and reading all the forums but everything I see is about recovering pictures from iPhones that have been backed up on iCloud. I tried one of those sites that are supposed to be able to recover anything from iTunes but when I clicked on my device it only showed the pictures that were not deleted from the beginning. I don't know what to do and I'm really upset that I've lost all of those pictures. Please help if you can!!

    What pics?
If they were pics synced from your old computer, then they would indeed be deleted.  Just copy them from the old computer to the new one.
If thye were pics you took with the ipad then you should have been importing them toyour computer regularly as you would with any digital camera.

  • Itunes installs but wont load up

I have installed itunes 9.0.2 64 bit on windows 7 64 bit computer. It wont load at all. itunes.exe*32 starts up in the task manager applications then quickly disappears and nothing more happens. I have tried downloading again, and removing all apple applications and registry refs then reinstalling but that doesnt work either. I have tried turning off virus programs, checking computer for malware and spyware.
I dont know what to do next. I just cant get it to load. It worked prior to the itunes 9 upgrade. but now i cant go back as I have uninstalled everything.
I was dreaming of an iphone - I guess that is out of the question if I cant get the software to work at all

I do use norton 360 so maybe some vodoo there?
Possibly, although I tend to associate a Norton-related (generally speaking, "firewall-related") error-message-free iTunes launch failure with an iTunes.exe appearing in process manager and never going away (rather than the quick flash of an iTunes.exe that you're seeing).
Could you check something for me, please? Try to launch your QuickTime Player. Does it launch properly, or do you get odd things happening when you try to launch that too? If odd things happen, could you describe them for us?

  • Transferred itunes library from Windows XP PC to new Windows 7 PC. plugged in 3rd gen Ipod. Ipod icon appears along with playlists, music etc. Songs are grayed out and won't play. Please help!

I recently transferred itunes library from windows XP PC to new Windows 7 PC. The transfer was successful, however when I plug my 3rd gen Ipod Nano into the new PC, the Ipod icon appears along with the music, playlists, etc. The songs are shown but are 'grayed out' and wont play or sync. The 'Devices & Printers' window in new PC shows icon for Ipod driver & is OK. The icon for the Ipod appears but depicts a delta shaped warning icon that states that the Ipod is'not operating properly'. Tried troubleshooting. The troubleshooting message states the the Ipod is 'disconnecting'. Can you help me with this problem?

Then, I dropped the entire itunes file from the old PC (XP) into an empty external drive.
That "itunes file from the old PC"?  Is that the iTunes folder, from the old PC, that was in the user home folder's Music folder?
All of the library, playlists, etc. from the ipod as they always have been are shown, by they are 'grayed out' and will not open or play.
That's on the iPod, correct?  Are all of your old playlists in iTunes, from the old PC, still there in iTunes on the new PC?  Are the songs in iTunes still playable?
This document provides the steps to transfer a complete iTunes library between two computers.  See the section called External drive.
iTunes: How to move your music to a new computer - Apple Support
There are many steps, but this is a summary.  (1) On the old PC, consolidate all of your iTunes data into the iTunes folder.  (2) Copy this iTunes folder to the external drive.  (3) On the new PC (that has iTunes installed but NOT running), replace its existing iTunes folder with the one from the old PC (on the external drive).  When you run iTunes, it uses the iTunes folder from the old PC, and it should look like iTunes on the old PC (with all the playlists, ratings, play count, etc.), and your iPod will see the iTunes library as the same iTunes library (because it is the same library).
If you did something different, and the old PC is still accessible, you may want to try it using the method from the linked document.

Is anyone else having this problem?
I tried to re-install and got the following message:  iTunes was not installed correctly.  Please reinstall iTunes.  Error 7 (Windows error 1114)
Does this mean I have now lost everything?

I just had the same error:
    R6034
An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly.  Please contact the apps support team for more info.
I went to http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1925 and did a complete removal and reinstallation of iTunes. You MUST follow the directions here exactly...it's more than just iTunes that must be removed, and it MUST be done in the order in which the support article says.  I followed the exact instructions, and iTunes is back on my machine (no more C runtime error) and you do NOT lose your music...it's all in my library, as it was before.
    Good luck!
