I believe you were referring to Vaio Care Rescue Mode, right? To access the recovery partition. Is the Assist button stuck from being pressed?
Try to Power Cycle the laptop - Remove the battery and all peripherals -> press and hold the power button for 5 seconds OR, if the battery is not removable, remove all peripherals-> look for a battery off button on the bottom of the laptop -> push the button for 5 seconds
Try to press the Assist button while the unit is on. There are certain models where Vaio Care (Desktop) will open when pressing Assist while the computer is on. Then test while the unit is off.
Let us know if this will work.

Since it sounds like you have already tried all the usual and available troubleshooting techniques, I would make a trip to your local Apple store/Genius Bar and have them take a look at it. Your iPod is still under Apple's 1 year warranty that cover any defects (but not accidental damage!).

It sounds like you updated iTunes and now it will not open. Try the steps outlined in the following article. You may need to re install iTunes but your library will remain intact if you do.

If this entry is deleted from the MV, deleted in the CV=OK

An MVentry is created.

The onMissingTemplate method will never fire in this case, as the page you're rewriting to actually exists, so what you're doing here is manually raising a 404. There are two ways of doing this; firstly you just do something like this:

This will let people know that they've entered an invalid URL, and the statuscode will tell search engines that there's no page there.
What BKBK is suggesting is perhaps being more intelligent. Rather than just throwing them at a standard 404 page, try and handle it a little better. In your page where you would normally show the results, try and find any relevant results. See if there are any keywords in the URL you can search the database for, and display the links to those products on the page. Nothing groundbreaking here, just something a little more "web 2.0" than just saying "no, there's nothing here".
The only difference would be that you want to do this:
<cfheader statuscode="404" />
...before then going on to display your page. This is purely for the search engines.

Optimizing in full mode does not removes false hits any more from COUNT_HIT
Hello,
I am using the COUNT_HITS fonction to get the number of hits for a full text query with the EXACT parameter set to false or true.
If I am not wrong the ctx_ddl.optimize_index('MY_INDEX','FULL') is suppose to remove false hits from COUNT_HITS where the EXACT parameter is set to false but it does not work any more. It still takes into accound records that have been deleted.
Is there other actions to do to remove false hits from COUNT_HITS?

I think it does which is a surprise. E.g. if you last closed an IE window in Fullscreen mode it can open up again in Fullscreen mode. This may be in response to user complaints about Maximized mode which would still be a problem because that
is the OS doing. However, even there it has always been possible to open a window from a shortcut in Maximized mode. The problem is that any windows spawned from that one will have the original window's Normal mode attributes in terms of size and
shape.

Hi, my ipad no longer shows the usage times of itself. It merely shows a '-' mark where usage and standby times are normally shown.
This may have occurred after the ios6 update but I cannot be sure.
Any ideas on what the problem is or how it can be fixed?

I've since fixed the problem.
Martha I recommend that you download an app for battery charging so that it will tell you the percentage that the iPad is charged. Then charge the iPad fully and as it reaches 100% it should display 0 mins in both boxes.
I did a restore prior to this but it did not seen to have any effect.
I'm not even sure why the iPad went like this but mine has been fine since.

I have Iphone 4s and recently purchased Apple TV, first time of use I tried in My Hotel room using the Hotel Network (no web page to log on just password) without success for Airplay as I belive that they did some of restriction to they network, Apple TV worked fine in the hotel showed everything except Airplay connection with My iPhone 4S. I tried later on the same day using my friend home network it work fine, directly the Airplay icon appear in my iphone.
So check your network if there any restriction.

When I delete an E-mail the next one does not automatically pop up any more
When deleted,next E-mail always opened.Now it just goes back to E-mail page.Went into yahoo mail site and it still has "open next E-mail" checked as the option of choice.Firefox 25 just downloaded automatically a few days ago and that is when I started having the problem.
Try some basic steps if you have issues with web pages:
Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

VictorCT, the behavior of the power button on Mavericks (10.9.2) is not as the note (OS X Mavericks: Using the power button - Support - Apple) describe. I have to press four or five times de power button in order to put the mac to sleep.

Hi Ive just had the same problem,I was playing a gamy 'my farm' & i put my iphone 4 down to answer door then when i picked it up the iphone was black screen & no power,i did plugin to itunes & the wall plug but nothing,then i held the power & home buttons down for about 6 seconds & the apple logo appeared.I really freaked,its ok right now but im phoning my apple store becoz it had 77% battery so theres something wrong with this iphone 4.

pioneer 8400 DVD receiver player, as iPhone ios6 update now when connecting the new iPhone with ios6 to my car DVD 8400 unit, when playing music such as on my phone or Pandora the track button does not function or work at all not even if i press skip track forward or back on the unit it doesn't function everything works except that. on listening to radio or anything else related not pairing thru Bluetooth unit works fine, seems there to be Bluetooth update that is not making iPhone and unit not compatible at all. does pioneer need fix this problem with update firmware or thru apple need help. my iPhone was working fine before with previous ios 5 before.
