My att.my.yahoo email cannot be opened fully to read or scroll through older emails. I get an Opps page from Mozilla.

I use att.my.yahoo.com for one of my email accounts.
When I am traveling I use my netbook with Windows XP. I can log in fine and see only a "quick view" of the email with the first few sentences.
When I click on the read or reply button Mozilla shows an "Opps, this link must be broken" message or a "Page not found" message. I also can only see a few of my emails
When I use my iMAC it opens fine. But I cannot carry my desk top iMAC when I travel.
Sorry for the delay. I was testing both computers.
Thank you.

  • Brand new Galaxy III S - Cannot setup Yahoo email - 80201: Getting Token Failed Error

I got my brand new phone; logged in/set-up account with gmail.
I added my corporate email just fine.
Adding a yahoo email I get the following error: 80201: Getting Token Failed Error
    I've tried over wi-fi and on 4G.
Also, it doesn't matter what email and password I put in - same error.
Note: I had a Galaxy S previously with Yahoo email - this isn't the first time I've configured an account.

Same issue cannot create email accounts using the Email app - 80201: Getting Token Failed Error with Yahoo, AOL and Hotmail. Any Verizon support people here? Can you help?

Once you have obtained an external drive and connected it you will 'clone' your internal drive to it.
Download Carbon Copy Cloner (it is not free but there is a fully functional trial version which is). Use it to clone your internal drive to your external drive. When that is done you will reboot from the clone and use Disk Utility to erase the internal drive (choose Mac OS Extended (Journaled)) as the format (this is normally preset, but check). Make sure to give the external drive a 'distinctive' name, don't want to get drives mixed up in this process.
Once that is done you will use Carbon Copy Cloner (from the clone) to restore the external to the internal.

  • Yahoo Email HACKED via having logged in from my Blackberry

My Yahoo Email account becomes hacked and password compromised anytime that I use my Blackberry to log into my Yahoo Email by going to the Blackberry web browser, then my.yahoo.com, and then logging in.
After the hacking I will use a computer to go to Yahoo Email and change the password.  The hacking will then stop.  Then if I use my Blackberry to login to Yahoo Email via the Blackberry web browser then the account becomes hacked again within minutes.   I have isolated the hacking to the Blackberry as I only use my personal computer and the Blackberry to login.  I will go weeks without a hacking incident but once I use my Blackberry to login to Yahoo Email the account shows logins from Canada within 5-30 minutes and then within 12 hours the spam emails start getting sent from my account.
I can view the locations of logins to my Yahoo Email and they are typically from Canada when the hacking occurs.  After this hacker has gained access to my account then they start sending spam from my email to all of my contacts for a link to buy some sort of berry supplement.
How is this hacking happening through my Blackberry?  Is there a virus on the device?

Yours would be THE first with a virus... so let's knock that out.
What's happing is there is a plethora of spammers and "bot" spammers out there which do nothing but find active Yahoo email accounts and "fake" the email "sent" from ID from those "bot" spam machines. They don't know your password. It just sees an active email account, and makes it appear your account is sending those emails.
They don't have to have your account password. No hacking. Just simple tom-foolery.

    New features, fewer interruptions
Whether you're browsing for fun or work (or even for fun while at work), you don't want unnecessary interruptions slowing you down or getting in the way of what you're doing. That's what the latest features in Firefox are all about: to give you a more seamless browsing experience.
Here are the latest changes we made to make browsing better:
    * Private Browsing
We've had lots of requests for this one: Now you can open a Private Browsing window without closing your current session.
    https://support.mozilla.org/kb/private-browsing-browse-web-without-saving-info
    * Downloads
Never search for your download window again. Monitor your download progress right from the toolbar.

    * PDFs
Rather than downloading PDFs and hunting for them on your computer, you can view them directly in your browser window.

    Firefox keeps you healthy
Whatever you're doing, stop, stand up and step away from the computer. (On second thought, finishing reading this newsletter first, then do that.)
While we love the Web a lot, we also know that sitting in front of a computer all day can be bad for you. So two of our U.S. editors, Carmen and Jess, found some add-ons that remind you to get up and get active from time to time.
Read about the add-ons that can add some years to your life and add them to your Firefox:

    Is Firefox your default browser?
When you open a link in an email, does it open in Firefox? Don't worry, we're not checking up on you, but if you want to make Firefox your browser of choice for those (and all) kinds of links, it's easy.
Follow these steps to make Firefox the default browser on your desktop:

  • Everytime I get an email, I get a text message from Verizon

I posted this in the Apple forum. I think it may go here instead, maybe? Anyway ...I had the Droid 4, but decided I wanted the Iphone, so i switched yesterday. Once activated, within minutes, i started getting a text message from the number 625-0. The text message always says VZWNMN:1 It's always the same text message, from the same number. When it started, I hadn't had any new apps or email accounts set up on my Iphone. I have read stuff about this via google. The majority says its something to do with the mail set up on my phone. It started before i set my email accounts up. However, I did have my accounts set up on my Droid 4 that i returned. I had done a factory reset before turning that phone in though, so they should have been deleted. Now every time I get an email I get that text. I have unlimited texting, so the pricing isn't an issue. I don't like receiving random texts though. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have replied to the text with "stop, unsubscribe, delete, ..." and various others that one would normally use.

I was one of the folks saing its on your email side but this explanation is a lot better and now I agree its obviously not your email thats the issue...
    try this
    1.  Login to your Verizon account.
    2.  Click on “Account” at the top and then “Change Features” from the bottom right.
    3.  Select the device you would like to remove the service from.
    4.  Then scroll down until you find “Contact Management” and click “Remove

  • When sending an email through windows live I get an error message from WebKit2WebProcess.exe

    Hi,
Every time when I try and send an email from windows live I get an error message from WebKit2WebProcess.exe.
Not sure if I deactivate this from Windows live whether I will compromise my security.
    Any advice would be helpful.
    Thanks,

Thank you Matt. I'm sure this will be frustrating ...but the more I think about this problem there more info I have to share. The emails I write that do not get sent do end up in my "sent" folder but never reach the recipient. And, most perplexing, the issue/problem is sporadic. It was coming and going before I switched over to the SSL/TLS option in T-bird. And...since the switch it has reappeared and disappeared. I have made zero changes other than the above mentioned. I did get a security update today for T-bird perhaps this will help?
I read your link, thank you.
I obviously don't understand how these systems work. I'm baffled how an issue like this can come and go...

  • Illustrator files cannot be opened: Could not read the file because an error has occurred.

I cannot open some files from  Illustrator which contain PNG files placed. When I try to open the file, I get a message saying: "this png contains addtional data for Adobe fireworks, which will be discarded upon save." When I press "ok" I get the same screen again. When I press "cancel" I get: "coulld not read the file because an error has occured". I am currently working on a Mac Mavericks. Using Illustrator cc and Fireworks CS6.

    Eliana,
If you have some file corruption, one thing often tried first is to create a new document and File>Place the (PDF contents, if any of the) corrupted one to see how much may be rescued that way.
Here are some websites where you can see whether it can rescue the actual file, and if it can, you may pay for a subscription to have it done,

As far as I remember, the first one is for Win and the second one is for Mac, while the third one should be for both.

  • Xcelsius 2008 pdf cannot be opened with Adobe Reader 8.2

    Using Xcelsius SP3 , I have exported a dashboard to Adobe9 (pdf 1.8).
When I tried to open this pdf with Adobe Reader 8.2, getting the error like "This file appears to use a new format that this version of Acrobat does not support."
How can I resolve this issue?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
Since the last couple of days I have trouble opening Xcelsius pdf format 6 in ADOBE Reader 8.2 latest fix
It was fine last week but I have updated the 8.2 reader to the latest version and now it doesn't work.
It seems to be the same crash with the version 9.2 of the reader
Anyone else with the same issue?

  • When trying to access my yahoo email I get the message MFMessageErrorDomain error 1032. What is it and how to I get my mail?

Having trouble with email. Error message 1032?

Thanks.  I did this and all my e-mails came up.
For those of you who don't know this, if you press the round button twice quickly, all the apps you have been using come up.  If you hold the first one down until the icons wiggle, you'll get a minus sign in front of each one.  While they are wiggling, hit the minus sign and that app will close.  When they are all gone, reopen your e-mail and they should be refreshed.

  • I have signed up for iCloud but can't open it even after I sign in. I just get the account page.

I set up iCloud on my iPad Air and on my PC but can't open it past the Account page where I sign in. I can't access any of the features (like iemail, documents etc.) There is no where for me to open them.

I'm not sure what you're looking for on your iPad.  You set up iCloud by going to Settings>iCloud, signing in with your Apple ID to create your account, then turning on the data you want to sync with iCloud.  However, iCloud is a service, it isn't an app.  It will sync data that you add or change within the apps on your your iPad that are syncing with iCloud (contacts, calendars, notes, reminders, etc.).
When you go to icloud.com from your computer browser, you should get the sign in pop-up like the image below.  After signing in, you can access the apps from icloud.com.  If this isn't working for you, you may need to troubleshoot your browser as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ts4050.
