My audio driver is not reinstalling

my bluetooth was not working. it was not detecting any bluetooth in range. so i looked for drivers..the hp site recommended few updates. so i had updated my drivers and found that the dolby feature has gone. i uninstalled the updated realtek hd audio driver..then reinstalled it..from the downloaded file...but now it is not workingmy audio is not working.. help me guys..

Hi,
The Dolby feature you mention should be installed by the IDT software package, no seperate download is required ( or available ).
Let me know the following:
1.  What is the full version of Windows installed on your notebook?
2.  How was the original IDT driver deleted - ie from the entry in 'Programs and Features' or from Device Manager?
3.  Open windows Control Panel, open Device Manager, expand Sound, video and game controllers, right click on the IDT entry and select Properties and click the Driver tab.  What is the Driver version shown here?

  • SoundMax audio driver did not load after returning from StandBy.

After my computer returns from StandBy, it shows me this message. "The SoundMax audio driver did not load. You may need to reinstall SoundMAX". I have downloaded and installed the latest driver that was supposed to fix this issue on Windows XP T61. Is there another solution?

    Hi,
I wanted to confirm, that this issue occurs also to me, and started happening recently. Also the driver sometimes does not start when simply booting clean (not returning from StandBy). I'm not sure,  but I think this started happening after some driver update (I do upgrade my drivers when lenovo updates them hoping they'll fix some of the annoying glitches, but this is what I usually get...).
My machine is: lenovo t61 7664-19G
And I also have: windows XP
If someone more tech-able would like to investigate this, I would be happy to supply all the details.

  • Audio Driver does not load when computer is powered up

I have a HP Pavillion Elite Model 9600t desktop PC that I bought from the HP on-line site in June of 2009.  This system is running Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit edition.
No audio card, using the mother board on board audio with powered HP speakers connected to the Green connector on the mother board.
    Problem:
When the system is initially powered up, it boots ok, but when the desktop is displayed I get the "No Audio Device is Installed" error message displayed on the lower tolbar speaker ikon.
I can then load the "Realtek High Definition Audio" driver using the  recovery manager and restart the system with powering down, and everything will then work ok, untill the system is powered off, then the problem repeats the next time the system is powered up.
The sound playback window under the control panel shows the speakers as  "Realtek High Definition Audio Working, but the "Set Default" button at the bottom of the window is greyed out and not functional.
    Any guidance would be appreciated

  • H67MA-E45 - Audio driver will not install

    Hello,
I look very much forward to suggestions how to install audio drivers for mainboard H67MA-E45 under Windows XP SP3.
After the hotfix KB888111 was installed, the Device Manager shows "Other Devices/Audio Device on High Definition Audio Bus" (four of them show up).
I tried to install the latest audio driver 5.10.0.6151 (Windows XP) from MSI's web site, but I always get the same error message: "The hardware was not installed because the wizard cannot find the necessary software". I have looked through all available catalogues to find the missing files, without success.
    Regards
    Adlon

Thank you Svet, I tried the following suggestion but it did not work:
    "Do this:
Go to device manager, then expand "System Devices", and locate "MS UAA bus" Right click over it, then click "Disable".
    Reboot and enter in "Safe Mode", {hit "F8" just after bios post screen}
Once done go to device manager then expand "System Devices", and locate "MS UAA bus"  Right click over it, then click "Un-install".
Reboot PC, then run Realtek driver installation again."
Instead of "Other Devices/Audio Device on High Definition Audio Bus" the Device Manager now shows "Other Devices/Unknow device (four of them)"
Same message after trying to install the audio drivers "The hardware was not installed because the wizard cannot find the necessary software".
I also tried to install the audio drivers after I had changed from version SP3 to SP2 in the registry, but no difference.
    Any more suggestions?

  • Audio driver download not compatible with hardware

Pavilion dv6 1280-us - windows 7 64 bit reinstall - downloaded audio drivers from HP support site, but error message says hardware detected is not compatible with the software and install is cancelled.  Where do I go from here?

The first step would be to verify that you downloaded the correct version of the driver. You should have seen an option for both the 32-bit and the 64-bit versions. I would verify that you downloaded the 64-bit version.
You can also check the manufacturer's website for your audio device. They may have an updated version of the driver that they have not gotten to HP yet.

May you explain the way you 'loaded iWork 08' on the machine ?
What you wrote isn't sufficient to understand what you did.
    (1) if you applied the original installer, it's necessary to apply the late updater (iwork 8.0.3 if I remember well)
    (2) if you copied the app from an other machine, you were supposed to copy also the folder :

  • Realtek HD Audio Driver Not Completing install - error message

Could I just say first that I am far from being technical minded so please allow for possible lapses in info.
Just done another complete reinstall of Win XP - formatted drive etc.
However unlike on previous instances the Realtek HD Audio driver has not installed.
I have downloaded the latest version - 5.10.0.5605 but this too at  very near the end of installation gives the message Install Realtek HD Audio Driver Failure [Error Code 0xE0000227]
I have the G33M Series MS-7357(v1.X) Mainboard with Intel Core 2 Duo
Hope this is enough info to anyone to offer advice.

  • Problem in audio driver and unable to install rescue and recovery ver 4.3 -

    Dear community collegues,
I have installed original windows7 home premium in my lenovo N100 series 0768-54A model y'day. Though every thing went well, the AC97 audio driver could not be installed. Can any one provide me a solution to make the audio working in Windows7 Home Premium.
Similarly after new installation, I could not install rescue and recovery version 4.3 (windows7 compatible) in to the system, every attempt failed. Could any one provide a solution.
    thanking You.
    Sakthivelu V M Chennai

I am not sure which audio chipset your N100 has, so
    Try this for sound:
    Go to THIS web page.
Download Soundmax audio driver for Vista.
Extract the files by double clicking, and note where they
    are being extracted to.
Uninstall any sound driver you have installed, reboot.
If windows says New Hardware Found, click cancel.
Go to folder where downloaded drivers were extracted,
    and run Setup.
If Soudmax drivers do not work, uninstall and repeat
    with the Realtek audio drivers.
I do not think Rescue/Recovery will work except for
    the originally installed OS.

  • MacBook 7,1 CS4206a audio driver crashes on Windows 8 Developer Preview

    I'm experiencing crash on about every 20minutes on Windows 8 Developer Preview.(MacBook 7,1 late 2010 model)(BootCamp 4.0.0 installed)
It seems that Built-In audio driver is the one that causes the problem.
I disabled CS4206a driver in Driver Manager to prevent that.
But I really want my sounds back.
I've also tried CS4207driver from Cirrus Logic, and a old driver.
but none seems to be helping.
    Any advice??

Thank you all for the replies. Unfortunatly, I found that audio driver is not the problem.
After disablling, removing the audio driver from the system32/drivers, the time til to get crash has indeed EXTENDED, but it still crashes..
misalaram, thank you for the idea. Formatted windows 8 and installed JUST the graphics card driver directly from the nvidia. Still crashes..
I think it is sort of like kernel panic. Which microsoft has said that they implemented multi-tasking capable kernel. I think somthing is unstable..

  • Audio driver help: Drivers too old, don´t know where to find new ones

As i said in the title, IDT high def audio codecs for my machine are nowhere to be found and HP autodetect tool seems to think my laptop does not exist.
    http://www.alza.cz/EN/hp-pavilion-dv6-6130ec-d245498.htm#popis
This is my laptop. Pretty old one, had it for 3 years now. Lately im experiencing audio trouble of 1-2 seconds delay between action and corresponding sound. For example, If i get an error, i hear the sound 2 seconds later.
According to my DxDiag the audio drivers are over 3 years old now, and i cannot for the life of me find any IDT drivers on the internet that are compatible with my machine.
    Please help.
    Thanks.

    Hello, @majogl
    Welcome to the HP Forums.
I see that you're looking to update the Audio driver. I will try to assist you with this.
Here is the drivers page for your notebook: HP Pavilion dv6-6130ec Entertainment Notebook PC Drivers.
The audio driver listed is the only one available for the notebook. I was however, able to find this one: IDT High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver. Not much newer, but should work and is newer than the website.
Try it and see if it helps.
Thank you for posting on the HP forums.

You can try one of the following (start at 1 first):
    1. Run in an elevated commnad prompt without the quotation "sfc /scannow & dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth"
    2. Restore to a date where you can remember that the dolby audio sound is working.
    3. Use OKR to restore everything to factory default. Note you need to backup all your personal files before doing this and might need to reinstall all third party programs after the restoration.

  • Can i reinstall audio driver ?

i m having some problems with audio and recording , i cant use stereo mix for recording ( i have posted regarding stereo mix earlier but didnt get any answer resolving the issue ) so i want to reinstall the realtek audio driver v. 6.0.1.7156 that i have .
now my question is can i unstall the driver from control panel---programs---uninstall ? and then install it from hp support assistant ( as i think if i unistall it hp support assistant app will identify it and ask me to install ) .
. i have done all the primary things for stereo mix to work and also done googing ,,,but its simply isnt working .but i want stereo mix to work.
so am i going in the right way ? should i reinstall the realtek hd audio driver  as mentioned ? or any other process is there
    please help me.
    thanksgiving
    souvikk.

    Dear souvikk -
I understand you are having some problems with audio and recording on your computer.
    I will try to help.
(You do not state what version of Windows you are running, so I will assume this is Windows 8.  If you have another version, you may be able to adapt the instructions to your version.  If not, please tell me which version of Windows you have so I can provide you with those steps.)
You can reinstall the realtek audio driver manually, if you want to. However, let's see if Windows can automatically locate and fix the problem first, using the troubleshooting tool.  Follow these steps:
From the Start screen, type troubleshooting to open the Search charm, and then select Troubleshooting from the search results.
Under Hardware and Sound, click Troubleshoot audio playback and then click Next when the Playing Audio window opens.
The Playing Audio window opens. Click Next.
A new window opens. Select the device you would like to troubleshoot. Then click Next and follow the on-screen instructions.
If a recommended action displays, select Apply this fix or Skip this step to continue to search for other problems.
If the above steps do not solve the problem, next try updating the audio driver for Realtek.  Follow these steps:
    Connect to the Internet.
From the Start screen, type device manager to open the Search charm, and then select Device Manager from the search results.
Double-click Sound, video and game controllers.
Right-click the name of the sound hardware and select Update Driver Software.
Click Search automatically for updated driver software and wait for Windows to update the driver software.
Windows checks to see if updated driver software is available. If an update is available, let Windows install the update.
When the update is installed successfully, test the device.
If neither of these suggestions fix the problem, you can try to reinstall the Realtek audio driver. You should install from HP; not Realtek.
    1. Go to http://www8.hp.com/us/en/support-drivers.html.
    2. Click on Drivers & Downloads, then enter your computer name or model number.
    3. Select your operating system, then click next, and scroll down to locate the download.
    4. Expand the Driver-Chipset section and locate Realtek Card Reader Driver.
    5. Click Download.
    6. Choose Use HP Download and Install Assistant (Recommended) and then follow the instructions.
If none of these suggestions resolve the problem, please let me know and we can try something else.
    Sincerely,
    dhtp
