Lastnight I was just playing away on my iPod and next thing it just went off, it was fully charged and everything. Now it won't come back on and when I plug it into the wall the apple logo just keeps flashing on and off. I have tried to reset it by pressing the on and off button and home button but nothing. How can I get it working again.

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try another cable
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

    Hi bellaluv2912,
I apologize, I'm a bit unclear on the exact nature of the issue you are describing. If your iPhone isn't responding or starting up successfully, or is displaying an Apple logo and restarting, you may find the troubleshooting steps outlined in the following article helpful:

  • HT201412 My iphone keeps repeating unclean shutdown.  Cant get to my screen to do anything. The apple logo keeps flashing on and off.  Can I restore or is phone done.

I cant get my iphone to turn on. The apple logo goes on and off intermittently.  Avery small line of words stating error'unclean shutdown.  It ssms like it is frozen or locked.  Is there something I can do to restore my phone screen? I recently updated to IOS 6.

What happens when you try to restore?

  • The apple symbol keeps flashing on and off and won't reboot

You can call AppleCare & do this by mail:

  • Apple TV signal goes on and off on my TV HDMI source

My apple TV works fine when rebooted but once I try to change the source on my TV the TV has trouble recognizing the ATV signal. it goes on/off on the tv screen.

I just returned an Apple TV to the nearest store. After three days of troubleshooting, I figured out that the problem was a bad video card. It worked for less than a week, and I was constantly having problems that I couldn't nail down.
Rebooting sometimes worked; restoring video for a few minutes. Eventually I connected the Apple TV's component outputs directly to my tv (Sony Bravia KDL-52V5100), and that worked for about ten minutes; then it too started blinking on and off. The picture was visible, then not visible, then visible, then not visible...
While the component cables were directly connected to the tv I still had the HDMI cable connected through my receiver (Onkyo TX-SR507), and the loss of signal showed there as well. The Apple TV video output was failing.
I checked the HDMI cables by using them with my Blu-Ray player (Samsung BD-P3600). The cables (which I paid $0.22 for!) were not the problem. The signal from Blu-Ray player routed through the receiver to the tv with no problems. You can easily eliminate the cables as the issue by using them with a second HDMI device, taking the Apple TV out of the loop.
In the end; after consulting with Apple Support (Apple TV was less than 2 weeks old), we came to the conclusion that it was likely a bad video card. They set up an appointment at my nearest Apple Store, and I was able to get a replacement immediately, as their brief test showed, the video output was not functioning properly.
I got a new Apple TV and all is good. Solid signal, and no problems noted since yesterday (15 July) at 10pm.

  • HT201317 Some of my photos in my Photo  Stream on my iPhone are not going over automatically to my computer.  How do I fix this?

Some of my photos in my Photo Stream on my iPhone are not going over to my laptop.  I can't figure  out why, and I use them for scrapbooking.  My laptop is a PC NOT a MAC.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
For the avoidance of doubt, are the photos actually in photo stream on your iPhone or just in your camera roll?
If they are in photo stream, then you might try turning photo stream off and on again on both devices, restarting both devices before enabling photo stream once again.

  • I am trying to buy a game and it says purchased failed because my Apple ID is now locked and unable to make purchases how do I fix this?

I Am trying to buy a game and it is saying my Apple ID is locked how do I fix this

If you are getting a message that your account is disabled then you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
You might then need to log out of your account on your phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it.
If that doesn't fix it, or if the message is that it is locked, then contact iTunes Support and see what they say : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

  • Wifi problem: signal keeps going on and off and on and off.

For some reason the wifi indicator keeps changing from max strength to flat out no connection, max strength again, no connection, max strength, no connection... it keeps flipping back and forth. Not sure why this is happening because my other macs in the house (G5 and macbook pro) are showing a steady wifi signal.. so there is nothing wrong with my wifi router.
Any ideas how I can fix this?

    Some steps to try:
    1. Turn Airport off and back on, see if that stabilizes it. Or restart and see if it persists.
    2. Create a new location in System Prefs->Network, and see if it still happens.
    3. Unplug and replug your modem and router (let them sit for ten seconds) to reset them, just to be sure.
    4. Go to a wireless hotspot--local coffee shop or library or something--and see if it happens.
If after all that, you're still seeing the issue on multiple networks and multiple set-ups with your machine, then it may be your card and it's worth a call to AppleCare or a visit to the Genius Bar.

  • Does the apple logo keeps flashing on and off while restoring

My ipad fell in water and went blank i tried restoring it would show a hardware problem.I got that fixed but it kept showing not charging sign then i forgot my pasword and tried restoring it to the factory setting but mid way it said ur ipad cannot be restored but the restoring process kept going on with the apple icon flashin one too many times in between. please advise.

Try and force iPad into Recovery Mode
    1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
    2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
    4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: Data will be lost. You may have to repeat the above many times.

  • I have a dv8t-1000 and the wlan and treble keep going on and off. I loose the wireless connection.

I need to know how to open the laptop to replace the card that controls the wlan and treble. I tried to find a manual to show how to get the laptop open and then be able to get the card number so I can order one. I have removed the screws but can't get it appart. Can you tell me the type of card that I would need to resolve the problem so I don't loose the wireless conection every 5 minutes.
    Thanks
