My audiobooks do not upload to my iphone. Please help.
I am not sure what the problem is, but the audiobooks that I purchased on iTunes do not upload to my iphone. Does anyone have a solution?
I had the same problem and checked all the right syc buttons on my Mac etc until I was practically in tears.
The solution was absurd: on your iPhone the audiobook DOES NOT SHOW UP IN THE APP CALLED ITUNES, IT SHOWS UP IN THE "MUSIC" APP!!!! How stupid is that??
Look for the square on your iPhone that's called music & there are the audiobooks you purchased in iTunes!!

The "not optimised" message is often caused by dirt or debris in the sync port at the bottom of the phone. Have a close look in there and clean out (very carefully) if necessary.

Ok, I just signed up with Izymail. I have a paid Hotmail Plus email account. So far, I have been able to get one new, unread email to come up on my iPhone that I sent to myself; however, it was after a long delay (like 10-15 minutes after I sent it.) Plus, I'm noticing that every time I hit the 'Mail' button on my iPhone, and it's trying to check the mail from my account, it either says it's "Connecting" or "Checking For Mail" and it just sits there forever! BTW, I'm using POP with Izymail. I'm not sure if this is just a huge delay on Izymail's part, due to all the iPhone customers signing up all at once, but, from the posts I've been reading, a lot of people have got it to work just fine. I'm wondering if there's anything extra I should be doing, such as a setting on my iPhone that would speed up the process? It's really frustrating because it's now taking up to an hour to receive a regular email I sent to myself. I just don't want my $18 fee I had to pay for Izymail to be waisted. Any help would be greatly appreciated! THANKS!

I am not aware of any method around the restriction once

If you are running Lion then all drivers are distributed through Software Update. You do not need to install anything, other than to install the printer in System Preferences > Print & Scan. If you already added the printer while it was connected using USB, you might want to delete it and set it up again wirelessly to avoid confusion. Or, give them two distinct names e.g. "Photosmart D110 (USB)" and "Photosmart D110 (wireless)".
All scanning functions are now performed using Preview, but you can also access the scanner through the same Print & Scan preference pane, or with Image Capture.

By far the most common problem hardware-wise seems to be scuffs on the aluminium. Yours is the first report of a faulty screen I've seen.
If you use the same Apple ID on both devices it'll sync whatever you want it to - music/apps/photos/messages/etc.

I was attempting to update iphone 4s today, laptop went flat during the last stages. The iphone now only displays USB cord, with an arrow pointing towards iTunes emblem. iTunes will not accept/read the iphone. HELP??
If you have the latest version of iTunes you should not have to download the ipsw file separately as jalp suggests. iTunes will download it automatically.
This error (9) most often means that your antivirus or firewall (or router) is blocking access to Apple's servers. In rare instances it can also mean that the phone was hacked (or "jailbroken") to unlock it. If this is the case you must do a DFU restore, not Recovery Mode, as follows:
Reboot your computer
Disable your antivirus and firewall. If you has Kaspersky you may actually have to uninstall it, as it can never be turned completely off.
Connect the USB cable to a USB port directly on your computer, not to a hub. DO NOT connect the other end to the phone
Disconnect all USB devices except for mouse, keyboard and iPhone cable.
Launch iTunes
On the phone hold the HOME and SLEEP buttons at the same time for EXACTLY 10 seconds, then release the SLEEP button but continue holding the HOME button. The screen should be black. If it has an Apple logo this means you held both buttons too long. Release the HOME button and do it again.
While holding the HOME button connect the free end of the cable to the phone.
After a short while iTunes should recognize a phone in "recovery mode" (iTunes doesn't know the difference between DFU and Recovery modes, but the phone does)
Release the HOME button and don't touch the phone or the computer until the process completes or you get an error message. Ignore any displays on the phone.
If the error recurs the phone was probably messed up when it was hacked. This is not a hardware problem, or if it is, it isn't one you can fix.
You can try repeating these steps with a different computer and a different cable. If that fails also the phone is probably not repairable. -

Bluetooth is supported for stereo headsets/speakers, telephone headsets/handsfree devices, some keyboards, some peer-to-peer apps from the apps store, tethering where provided by the carrier.
Other than these, it will not connect to another phone/device/computer/etc. -
