My "return to previous page" arrow button sometimes works and sometimes is greyed and doesn't work. Doesn't seem to be any reason or rhyme to it. I'm newly upgraded to Mavericks from Snow Leopard and it is very frustrating to have to punch out of Safari and start the web search over and over again, especially when you don't know if the "return to previous" button is going to work or not. Have pulled in a fresh forward/backward button bar from the custom toolbar sets, but that didn't fix it. Very aggravating and time consuming.

Reset the device, restart the device, try downloading any other app.
All of these are basic steps that could have been found by a simple search of the forums as a resolution for the issue.

My company recently loaded foxfire and I cannot have two applications open in foxfire, the second page overlays the first and I cannot go back to the previous page or reduce the first page to view the first.

My pages in Foxfore are overlaying one another which is normal but you cannot get back to the previous page. An example is if I have a page opened in a program and open something totally different it replaces the first page and I cannot reduce the size to see the first page I was viewing nor go back to it. I did open a page with audio and opened another application in foxfire and the replacing went on as usual but the audio continued to play so the page is stinn there. Also the tool bar page showing icon is replaced with the newly opened page not an additional page opened being shown as a tab. It's like the newest page or site I open in Foxfire replaces the one that is currently opened.

This might be caused by a recent Flash 11.3 update.

Last page in the sense u have place the button at the bottom of the canvas.
Can you please double check the Set_item_property Parameters or else please paste the code here and what error message you are getting exactly.

One thing to try, is to reset (reboot) the iPad. Hold both the Home and Sleep buttons for several seconds until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the "Slide to power off" arrow. The iPad will restart after a couple of minutes. Resetting this way will not hurt anything, and sometimes clears up mysterious problems.
If you can not do this reset, you may have a defective Home button. Have an Apple Store Genius look at it, and you might get a new iPad.

How do I get back to the first page of an application when I'm in the middle of it?

I'm sure there's an easy answer for this, but I can't find it. If I'm in the middle of an application, say iBook, and I want to get back to the first page of that application, how do I do it? When I tap on HOME, I go back to the home page with all the icons. I want to go to another page within the application I'm in? I've been stuck in iBook for an hour.....I don't know how to get back to the first page in that application. Thanks.

The shelves should show the ibooks that you've got in the app i.e. your downloaded purchases from the iBookstore. At the top of the shelves there should also be a Store button (for browsing, purchasing, re-downloading books from the iBookstore), and Collections (where any PDFs that you've synced/copied into the app go).

I want to add a watermark 'DRAFT' at the back of the report page.

Hello,
I am assuming that you have the picture with written DRAFT on it. If not then create with gray scale.
Then in report builder click on the Edit Margin button from the top toolbar in layout editor. Then import the picture from File>Import>Image menu and place anywhere in the bold lined frame. It will display as watermark in report.

Try clearing Safari's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cache (and Clear History)
If that doesn't work then try closing Safari completely and then re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
A third option is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
