My Battery iPhone 5S

Hi guys!
I've my iPhone 5s since November last year and I really love that Phone, there is something strange that started since 2 weeks ago,
I played 40 minutes Real Racing 3 my brightness is 3/4 full and my battery was 95 procent. After that 45 minutes my battery was only 35 procent more. also when I play Real Racing 3 my Phone is getting hot and that's the first time i saw that. It's also with Facebook app and Snapchat that the battery is running out very quickly.
What should I do? Please help me,

Battery life seems short
Click ( www.apple.com/batteries/iphone.html) for tips on how to prolong iPhone's battery life.
Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
Connect iPhone to iTunes and restore iPhone.(You already done this)
If the screen shows a low-battery image, the battery is low on power and needs to charge for up to ten minutes before you can use it.
When charging iPhone, make sure to leave it charging until it is fully charged. You'll know the battery is fully charged when the battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen looks like this .
Note: When charging using a computer, don't connect iPhone to a keyboard. Also, the computer must be turned on and not in sleep or standby mode. If iPhone is connected to a computer that's not turned on or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPhone battery may drain.
Also restoring from back up on iCloud or iTunes will cause issues with battery life... apps might not be fully compatible with the new iPhone, issues if the phone has too many wifi sites to remember, or 'other configurations that you cannot see or modify might be getting hung up. The recommendation is full factory reset and manually configuring your new phone --- input settings manually and add apps one at a time

Battery iphone 5 new IOS

I sold my 3 months old iphone 4s becouse unusual Battery drain:( got a new iphone 4 and is same..lossing %50 without use infew hours!!!
i search and everyone belive is new ios update causing this problem.
app store asked me to make a FRESH restore and install allapps again...(othe rhand loosing data, wasting time, ....,,...)
why have to pay $1000 for a phone when company do not care to fix the issue...I am really not happy with Apple amumore......
anyone else have same problem or find a solution without resore it fresh?

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide has always been reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new).
For what insane reason would you sell an iPhone without first doing all basic troubleshooting to rule out the actual device as the cause of the issue?
Now, you're whining about being told to do basic troubleshooting and basically refusing to do it.
That is just dumb.

A questo punto non so più che è: 1) batteria difettosa, 2) bus iOS, 3)caricatore difettoso...

Stesso problema. Su Twitter ormai si parla di #batterygate.
Consiglio a TUTTI di chiamare - o meglio farsi chiamare da Apple via Express Lane per iPhone - e spiegare esattamente cosa sta succedendo con la batteria del 4S, che a me scende - con telefono già sostituito da Apple sabato scorso - del 1% al minuto in 3G e del 2% in sei ore in modalità aereo .
Sono veramente deluso.

IOS 5.1 update drains battery iPhone 4s?!

I updated my iPhone 4s 32gb from iOS 5.0.1 to iOS 5.1 a couple days ago. Before I updated it l would usually have around 50% of battery left by the end of the day (fully charged in the morning). After I updated to iOS 5.1 my battery gets hotter than usual when I would use the phone and the battery would be dead by 9pm (fully charged in the morning). If it was only one day then I'd attribute it to chance but it has occured every day since the update! I've disabled wifi and all that fun stuff to try to preserve battery life but it still doesn't help. Any fixes or suggestions?

iPhone 4S has supported HSPA+, and the update just updated the indicator to show whether you are using 4G or 3G.

Can anyone advise me where Can I get a GENUINE Apple replacement battery for an iPhone 4s?
I am and electronics engineer and well qualified to fit my own battery. I am reluctant to use a 3rd party battery or let Apple charge me £70 to do a 5 min job. The Apple store in Sheffield say take it to a retailer and let them do it (£70), but they won't sell me the battery. The Phone is out of warranty.

Sostituzione batteria iphone 5

vorrei esprimere il mio più grande disappunto per l'assoluta mancanza di professionalità dell'apple store per il servizio di assistenza. Dopo aver prenotato un appuntamento con genius bar per la sostituzione della batteria del mio iphone 5 e dopo aver riscontrato che rientrava nell'ambito della campagna di sostituzione ufficiale della apple, arrivato all'apple store fanno una diagnosi e mi rispondono che non era necessario sostituirla.
Comunico all'addetto che il mio smartphone rientrava nella campagna di sostituzione e che avevo problemi con la batteria ma nonostante tutto mi rispondono che non potevano cambiarla.
Oggi mi reco presso un punto aasp apple quindi non uno store ufficiale, non racconto assolutamente cosa mi era stato detto all'apple store, fanno la diagnosi e dopo dieci minuti mi cambiano la batteria in garanzia perchè ovviamente rientrava tra quelle da sostituire.
L'atteggiamento del dipendente dell'apple store era stato quindi supponente errato e lasciatemi dire incompetente.
Ringrazio tutti per l'attenzione ma soprattutto i ragazzi della aesse informatica di Catania che mi hanno risolto il problema in dieci minuti.
Al contrario pessimo comportamento del personale dell'Apple Store del centro sicilia.

dopo 4 mesi anche il mio iphone 5 scarica fino al 10% in 3 ore...............fino a 3gg fa mai avuto problemi.
Ios 6.1.4, APP classiche FB-LINK-MAPS-MAIL ecc.....

I too have the same problem. I updated a 4S 16GB to 6.1.0>6.1.1>6.1.2 and the phone is often saying no service. iPhone 5 on same network with same update works.
We connected the 4s to iTunes and clicked restore so iTunes would download full 6.1.2 update and install to the handset and its much much better but it's not completely fixed the issue.
It's 100% only happened since 6.1.2 update
We went to Genius Bar and its 3 months since Warrenty expired so they wanted £139 GBP to replace handset as they could see 6.1.2 had broken handset. I didn't feel we should pay for apples mistake and left the store.

dopo 3 settimane dall'acquisto di un iphone 5 16gb,dove la batteria non mi ha dato mai problemi.
oggi mi è successa una cosa strana ho lasciato il telefono in stand by metre riposavo e dopo circa 3 ore la batteria da 100% era al 32 %
pensando che fosse stato un episodio casuale,ho fatto scaricare tutta la batteria e fatto una carica completa.
ho lascaito di nuovo telefono in standby e dopo quasi due ore gia stava al 70 x cento
come potrei risolvere il problema?

I have bought a new iphone 4S and found out that its battery last for only 1-2 days, I have done all the services off and follow the steps also to save battery but all in vain. I use to close the programmes off also but no improvement. Can some one tells me what to do my phone is just 1 month old

The more the screen is on, more battery will be used. The brighter the screen setting when the screen is on, more battery will be used. The lower your cellular reception level, more battery will be used regardless if you are placing or receiving calls, exchanging SMS/MMS, or accessing the internet via the cellular network. How many email accounts are you accessing with the Mail app? Any accounts that support push access for received messages? If not, what is your fetch setting for checking for new messages?
Besides turning things off such as bluetooth and wi-fi when not being used, several other factors can affect battery life.
I connect my iPhone to a power source as often as possible regardless if the battery is low or not. When I'm driving, it is connected to my vehicle charger. I leave it connected to a power source at night so I begin each day with a fully charged battery. If you aren't making through an entire day there may be a problem, but not if you can't make it an entire 2 days.

Camera app killing battery iphone 4s ios8.1.1

*as discussions.apple.com does not let me reply to existing topics I had to start a new one - typical of the modern Apple!
Since the update to ios8.1.1. every time I start my camera and take a picture with HDR or take a video my phone shuts down as it think the battery went dead. Never happened before ios8.1, only happens using the Camera app since update to ios8.1.1. It's made my iphone completely useless for quick photography through the slide up function now. Open Camera, take picture, BANG, need to recharge. From 91% to claiming it is empty is the record. I can listen to music on the same phone for over 6 hours, yet it thinks the battery is dead when I take a picture? Once popped into the electricity it will always show black screen with empty battery with just the red bit left... after a few seconds the phone starts up and it will always show over 50% battery!
I know there are more photography apps out there, but surely the basic Camera app that can be accessed quickly through the locked screen should not be so poorly done it makes the phone think my battery is empty???

Accepted, in 8.1 i not seen any problem (except terrible performance) but after update on 8.1.1 my iphone 4s starts shutdown to often, not only camera-app crash it, for example after playing music it shutdowns, after send watsapp message it shutdowns. if i try turn on iphone immediatly after shutdown it show me discharged battery, but worth the wait approximately 30min and it starts as it was in 30-40% of battery.
plz apple, if u cant normally support 4s get me chance downgrade it to ios6
