I have everything turn off
Still after a full charge over night by 6 Pm my battery is almost dead
I do not play all day on this phone it for e-mail and text for work

Do you have a work email account on your iPhone? Is it an Exchange account?
If yes, contact your Exchange administrator in your IT department and have him check your account. He will probably see constant polling from your phone and can help you resolve this.

I am having difficulty in connecting my IPAD 2 to my DRAYTEK 2820n router. Any suggestions as it will not recognise the password but my IPHONE 4 is perfectly OK.

I have just purchased an IPAD 2. I have tried to connect it to my DRAYTEK 2820n router but it will not recognise the correct password. My IPHONE 4 has no problem in connecting to this router using the same password. I understand that the wi-fi connectivity is the same for the two apple products so cannot understand why the IPAD will notr connect. Has anyone any suggestions?

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

Can't Figure Out Why iPhone 5 Battery Will Not Last

New to the community and looking for some extra insight into my problems.
Cliffs Notes: iPhone 5 won't last more than 4-5 hours on a single charge.
When I got my iPhone 5 on launch day I set it up as a new phone and did not restore from a backup. Only iCloud was able to sync my contacts, calanders, etc.... I setup up everything while hooked up to my MacBook Pro with iTunes. The first day the phone lasted almost 8 hours, it was mostly on WiFi while at the house. It seems whenever I don't use WiFi and am on the 4G network here in Albuquerque, NM that I can't go more than 4-5 hours on a battery charge. The signal is usually 4 bars or more, AT&T. I can't get anywhere near the reported 8 horus of use. The battery also seems to drain too fast while in standby over night. I loose about 10% over 8 hours at night. I should be at 4-5% for 8 hours.
For troubleshooting:
I have had the phone replaced, didn't seem to solve anything.
I've setup the replacement phone as new and didn't help
I've turned off all services like Siri, Push, Location, Notifications, etc... and the battery still drains
I've uninstalled most every app except for a handful of critical apps to me and doesn't help
I've used the reset settings and hasn't helped
My thought is it is related to the cellular data being on. I get better battery when connected to WiFi, but when on cellular data it kills the battery.
I've been running the Carat app for a few days to see if it reports anything.
About the only thing I haven't tried is doing a DFU restore and setting up as new and not doing anything after that to watch the battery life.
Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Have you tried resetting the phone?
Resetting Your Device: Hold the home button + the lock button for about 10-12 seconds until the Apple logo appears. You will not lose any data or current settings.

Battery Doesn't Last The Day!!!!!

I just purchased my Blackberry Pearl 8130 not even a week ago and the only thing bugging me right now is the fact that the battery doesn't even last a day. I left it for 6 hrs without touching it and the battery went down 40%!!!!
I am just wondering if this is a common thing with this phone, I mean I know the phone does alot, and I know it is constantly sending and recieving data or at least mine seems to be. I just want to know if anyone has any suggestions on how to improve the battery life! I mean when I first purchased the phone I let the battery run out and then charged it I am not charging it when it is half full, the battery is always dead when I charge it.
Also MSN messenger doesn't seem to be working either I am getting an error 67 failure to reach server....anyone else having this issue???

Turn off the gps, if you have gps on the phone and turn off bluetooth, if you're not using it. That will help some. If this continues, go to your provider and ask them who to talk to about battery replacement. Occasionally, a battery just doesn't live up to its charge. Also, you should recharge these types of batteries when they are a little less than half way drained. They are better suited for this type of charging. Only drain completely maybe once a month or so. Infoblox Captive Portal will not pass the "Accept" screen on Iphone or ipad 6.1.2

I am learning there is an issue with 6.1.2 with Captive Portal services where the latest IOS release will not progress beyond the terms and conditions. The next step in the authentricatoin process is certificate check so it would appear Apple has altered the process?
We have a lot of users complaining now but only 6.1.2 is affected. I have checked previous version on other devices and there is no issue.

To help maximize your battery life you can turn off cellular data when not using it, turning your brightness all the way down, also setting your auto lock to 1 minute so if you forget to lock your phone. You could also turn notifications off so that your screen wont go on when you get a notification.

If you have all your music on the cmputer then i would connect up my phone uncheck the Sync Music option and apply.
This should take all the music off your phone .Then you can resync the music back on to it.
If this doesn't work maybe a restore to factory settings and start from scratch is the way to go

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.

Download a free app and try again, you can delete the free app afterward.

I would make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store because of the shock issue. I doubt it was caused by the update.

Download the fee iBooks app from the app store if you don't already have it. Then download the .pdf here: iPad User Guide (For iOS 5.1 Software). Next, import it to your iTunes library (iTunes>File>Add to Library). Then sync it to your iPad by selecting it on the Books tab of your iTunes sync settings and syncing your iPad. It will availble in iBooks in the PDFs section (tap Collections on the top left, then tap PDF's).
