My bb 9860 is showing the app error 200

hi, my phone is not working properly its occuring the error and doing self restarting, and in restarting i have to wait for 1 or 2 hour what should i do. my phone has allready 1 replacement before but still same problem..

This problem occurs most commonly when you install apps to your phone and those apps either don't install correctly, or one or more files are corrupted. If you installed an app shortly before this problem occured, this is the likely cause. You can try to boot your phone in safe mode (this may or may not work - the last time it happened to me, it didn't work). To do this, follow the instructions in the following link:

If you're successful rebooting the BlackBerry Torch in safe mode, delete the app you installed last, and then reboot the phone by removing and reinserting the battery to get back out of safe mode.
If this doesn't work, then you'll need to reload the software on the device. To do that, follow the instructions in the following link:

Unfortunately, you won't be able to back up your phone, but this will work to get you back up and running.

  • Hanging + App error 200 problem

    Hello
    I have a Curve 8520 (my brothers) which is a total mess!
    The phone is always hanging we can barley use it, I am trying to back up the phone in order to wipe it and update it but I am unable to. Also, i am getting the App error 200.
    I have been trying to backup the phone but i am unable as it hangs in the middle of the process!
    I need a way to back up the phone (it was never backed up) in order to be able to wipe it, update it and restore it again.
    Can someone help?

  • App Error 200 when updating Device software on a BB 9380

    My desktop software askedme to upgrade the device software, I followed all the instructions waited the 2 HOURS it took to do this and when it got to the bit where it reboots, my phone popped up the App Error 200 and then got stuck in a loop..
    The pc just kept rebooting the phone and the phone just kept giving the same error.
    Im about to unplug the whole lot and go home to try again. My phone now seems to be a brick?

    Hypesuh I would recommend reviewing both Error downloading Creative Cloud applications - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/error-downloading-cc-apps.html and Creative Cloud app doesn't open and hangs on spinning progress wheel - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-app-doesnt-open.html as it appears both documents are applicable towards the difficulties which you are currently facing.

    i've had your same proble,
    you have to go on settings-->itunes&app stores-->apple ID and sign out.
    after this restart your device:
    Reset the iPhone by holding the sleep/wake button at the top right of the device and the home buttonat the bottom center of the face at the same time.
    Hold them both until you see the screen go black. In some cases, you may need to keep holding them even after the red power off slider appears. If it does, just keep holding it.
    Wait until the white Apple logo appears.
    ok, now go to settings-->itunes&app stores-->apple ID and sign in again

    Many people are having this problem for the last couple of days. This is a problem that Apple has to fix. If you look around the forum, you will see many, many discusssions about this and they have been going on for a few days.
    According to Fly150 in another discussion, this is a workaround - for the time being.
    If you want to update the Apps while waiting for Apple to fix Updates:
    1. Go to App Store
    2. Select Purchased
    3. Select All
    4. Scroll down to find the Apps showing update
    5. Select update on the Apps
    This should update the Apps and get rid of the update count in App Store.

    If you have two apple IDs then try logging in with the other ID.  Apps are locked to the ID that was used to download then in the first place

    2) Cleaned-up memmory and cash using ccleaner.

    Are you not seeing the icon of the app you just downloaded (it happens sometimes, and the quick fix is to reset your iPad)? Or are you running out of space on your iPad?

    Make sure you are updating to the latest available firmware, which would be iOS 4.1.2. Attempting to restore only 4.1. can cause that error.

    Can you post a screenshot of the contents of the key you've been editing, please? Include all of the regedit screen, including the left-hand column. Save the screenshot to an image file, and insert the image file in a reply by clicking the wee camera icon at the top of the reply window.

  • App error 200 while updating my device software

    Could anyone please give me some advice?
    I was updating my Blackberry device software and after the update had finished was prompted to restart my system and the phone but my phone has since refused to come on. it keeps showing 'App Error 200' reset
    The issue is that my blackberry is loading when the battery is removed and inserted again, but won't log in. After a while a white screen is displayed with the following message: App Error 200 and Reset just below it.
    When I select the reset option, the above mentioned process just repeats itself.
    My Blackberry desktop application does not even recognise up my phone once it is plugged in again.
    please i would appreciate any help to correct this error and regain the use of my phone

  • App Error 200

    After installing an uodate to PocketGrapes Digital Wine Diary last night I was prompted for a Restart which I accepted. The Restart gets no further than the white line across the bottom of the Blackberry screen which hangs for about 5 minutes and then shows App Error 200. If I accept Reset the process is repeated. If I remove the battery and then replace it the same thing happens.
    I have tried to Restart in Safe mode but this does not work.
    I have tried to Reload the OS from Blackberry Desktop Software but when I connect my phone, the phone restarts and I get the Error message: "Cannot communicate with the connected device" because it is rebooting. The only way I can stop it from rebooting is by taking the battery out but if I then try and connect my phone I get the same error message bacause the software thinks the battery is flat.
    Any advice would be welcome.

    Please note , this method will data all user data within that device but you'll may be ab;le to get your device back in order , if you have a previous backup or using BlackBerry Protect you can restore it from there.
    Additional Information :
