Hi!Have you done a hard reset?
A hard reset is similar to restarting a computer that stops responding. A hard reset closes all running BlackBerry applications, restarts the BlackBerry smartphone operating system, and restarts the hardware components of the BlackBerry smartphone, including the wireless transceiver.
Note: A hard reset does not delete any settings or data on the BlackBerry smartphone.
To perform a hard reset, complete the following steps:
Turn the BlackBerry smartphone off.
Remove the battery.
Reinsert the battery.
Wait for the BlackBerry smartphone to turn on.
also,
Confirm that all installed third-party applications are approved for the device
Make sure that all third-party applications installed on the BlackBerry smartphone are approved for the device. If the issue persists, remove third-party applications to make sure these are not affecting performance.
And don't forget,
Maximize flash memory
You can keep the BlackBerry smartphone operating at peak efficiency by maximizing the available flash memory. Increase the amount of memory available on your BlackBerry smartphones by completing the following tasks:
Add a media card
Delete unused languages
Delete call logs
Delete sample video
Clear Cache and Cookies in Browser
Remove rarely used applications
Delete old data
 Keep us posted! Cheers

  • Curve 8330 always freezing

    Hi,
I can't take this anymore, my curve is ALWAYS freezing at least 4 times a day, and this happens during any activity. It happens during phone calls and I am unable to hang up, or do anything in a call, this happened while I was on the phone yesterday and lasted for 7 minutes. It also freezes almost EVERY TIME i try to access the app world, so I have given up on using that, and often when it happend with the app world I have to do a battery pull reset. I pretty much cant upgrade any apps due to this.
Also at times when I try to exit applications (even basic ones such as Options), the phone stays frozen on a solid white screen for several minutes.
    Device info
    Your carrier: Telus
Model info and OS version: 8330, v4.5.0.186

File free before and after a battery remove/replace: 10273225 bytes free
I have tried virtually ALL suggestions.
    1. I have a 1gb SD card in the phone with all media stored on it.
    2. I only have the basic background apps running ( home, phone, messages, browser, blackberry messenger, Enhance G-mail plug-in
    3. 10273225 bytes free
    4. I have removed apps that arent used frequently.
I just bought this phone about 2 months ago and I am so sick of it already with how slow it is.
ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated

Im with Telus also, the freezing when I tried to end a call has happened to me a couple of times, usually I just take the battery out, but if it's doing that often, I would do a back up on you bb desktop, wipe the phone clean, back to default settings (telus technical support can help you with that) then restore the phone. If that doesnt work, take it back to Telus and they will send the phone off for repairs or they will replace the phone.

  • How can you tell if a computer problem is a hardware or software problem? My Macbook pro is always freezing!!

I've been using my Macbook Pro for about 5 months. The first 3 months were great. But now it makes my life harder!!!
    It's always freezing.
    Any suggetions.

Something doesn't sound right here. You say you have been using the MBP for 5 months and your profile say you are running 10.4.10. A MBP bought five months ago should have Snow Leopard 10.6. Of did you get this MBP used five months ago? Before we can help you must tell the straight story.

  • When installing Windows 7 on my mac through bootcamp, it always freezes at "Completing Installation"

When I try to install windows 7 on my mac, it always freezes at "Completing Installation".  Does anyone know a fix for this?

    Got it!
After posting my question I noticed the "More like this" category and the second discussion was a hit.
    https://discussions.apple.com/message/11290644#11290644
It was a display driver. All I needed to do was to boot from the CD again and following the directions in the post.
    Worked like a charm.

  • Loathe iTunes...always freezing!

I absolutely hate iTunes! I've never been able to smoothly run the darn program, EVER! It always freezes on the first try, and it takes at least 3 tries to get it going without freezing and sometimes still doesn't recognize my iPod is even connected. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling/updating/starting without iPod connected, etc, etc...
I have no problems with any other programs, my PC is rather new (Windows 7, up to date).
I try to use other media programs when I can (MusicBee, WMP, etc), because iTunes is so frustrating. Really, they need to think of a better way to do this, scrap the whole program altogether and start over.  And make it more user friendly while they're at it, because iTunes is anything BUT.
Until they start listening to their users and we're all forced to endure this crap program, does anyone have any suggestions on how to make it at least stop freezing up????

same thing happens to me. I use a shuffle and i-tunes only seems to open when it wants to.

  • Ask for refund for upgrading to lion, since lion always freezes at start up.

I want to know if I can get a refund for upgrading to lion. I have been really frustrated with this upgrade. Ever since the upgrade, I have not been able to start up normally. It always freezes at start up. I don't want to waste my time on fixing this issue any more.

No refunds that I know of.
    Downgrade Lion to Snow Leopard
    1.  Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer Disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button.  When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
    2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area.  If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing.  SMART info will not be reported  on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
    3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
    4. Quit DU and return to the installer. Install Snow Leopard.
This will erase the whole drive so be sure to backup your files if you don't have a backup already. If you have performed a TM backup using Lion be aware that you cannot restore from that backup in Snow Leopard (see below.) I suggest you make a separate backup using Carbon Copy Cloner 3.4.1.
If you have Snow Leopard Time Machine backups, do a full system restore per #14 in Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions.  If you have subsequent backups from Lion, you can restore newer items selectively, via the "Star Wars" display, per #15 there, but be careful; some Snow Leopard apps may not work with the Lion files.
After seeing what you have to do to return to Snow Leopard you might rethink your position of not wanting to fix the problem you have with Lion which probably arose from existing problems with your Snow Leopard system. The fix is pretty easy. Back up your data, erase the drive, reinstall Lion, restore your files.
Install or Reinstall Lion from Scratch
If possible backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive.
    Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
    Erase the hard drive:
Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
Otherwise, click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Erase button and wait until the process has completed.
Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion: Select Reinstall Lion and click on the Install button.
Note: You can also re-download the Lion installer by opening the App Store application. Hold down the OPTION key and click on the Purchases icon in the toolbar. You should now see an active Install button to the right of your Lion purchase entry. There are situations in which this will not work. For example, if you are already booted into the Lion you originally purchased with your Apple ID or if an instance of the Lion installer is located anywhere on your computer.

  • When I try to sync my iPod Touch to a different computer, why does it always freeze at Step 4?

I bought a Mac and I tried to sync my iPod Touch to it but it always freezes at step 4. I always wait for a long time mostly 5 hours but it never works. What do I do?

  • MacBook Pro, always freezing! Help!

    Hey, so I need help.
My MacBook Pro always freezes but not totally freezes, like, you can move the cursor around and everything but you can't click on anything. It has this color wheel something and it is reaaally driving me crazy.
I've had this macbook for about 2 years now and this is not the first time it happened. It happened like months ago, and then I thought maybe I should reformat it because it was sooo slow and terrible. Back then, my macbook is worthless because it takes half an hour to open and then when I type in my password, it begins to freeze. It takes like 20 minutes to unfreeze and then when I click on anything it freezes again. It even freezes when I'm doing simple tasks like typing, opening a folder, backspacing, dragging icons, etc. I can't even open an internet browser or an application! So I took my macbook to a professional and then he said that I should reformat my macbook, and so I did.
I was happy because everything was back to normal but a week later, it slowed down. I didn't mind it though because I can still use it and everything. But it came to this point again where simple tasks take a 2-minute freeze first! It's really driving me crazy and I don't want to make it worse. I need to know what was really the problem behind this!
I tried uninstalling a few applications including chrome. Right now I'm using Safari because I was told it uses less memory than Chrome. Nothing happened. It still freezes, I can't even research properly because everytime I use it, it freezes!
Please help! I'm not a computer expert so I need all the help I can get. I don't want to spend a lot of money again on professionals!

  • My iPad Air always freezes during FaceTime calls using wifi. I switch to my iPhone 5c on the same wifi, and it never freezes while I'm sitting in the same location. Is there maybe a setting I have that is causes this? I am un to date on the OS also.

My iPad Air always freezes during FaceTime calls using wifi. I switch to my iPhone 5c on the same wifi, and it never freezes while I'm sitting in the same location. Is there maybe a setting I have that is causes this? I am up to date on the OS 7.1.1. Video and audio is froze on my end, only video freezes on the other end. It doesn't make a difference who makes the call either.

No, there isn't any setting that you are missing. Have you tried force closing FaceTime, and resetting your iPad?
In order to close FaceTime, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If that does not make a difference, you could try resetting all settings, if you reset all settings you will have to enter all of the device preferences again in the settings app. That takes some time to accomplish, but you will not lose my data, media, apps or anything like that. Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings.
If that doesn't help, the next step would be to restore the iOS software. Backup your iPad first, restore the iOS, then restore the backup.
Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings
