WSUS not working completely, no MMC connect, all web services are not working

Hello all,
I have a problem not sure what causing it or what is the source of it as I am not into WSUS that much...
THe status is as follows:
I have 1 server 2008 sp2 RTM x64, I had WSUS 3.0 SP2 on it since a while, it was working fine until a week ago, when I started receiving the below messages in the event viewer
I have spent too much time trying to trace or troubleshoot this issue, but all I got was to check the registry and check permissions on the temp folder and other folders, I have done complete removal with the database for the old WSUS and reinstalled it
again but I got the same problem
Nothing strange and no problems happened on the server perior to this issue, it just happened...
Any help will be appreciated

So, in reality, this issue has nothing at all to do with "it was working; now it is not", because you've destroyed all of the evidence that would exist in a "was working; now is not" scenario. What we really have here is a NEW installation that has failed.
So, from the perspective of a NEW installation that is not working...
Are there any other roles, features, services, or applications installed on this server?
Did you install the Web Server Role exactly as described in the documentation?
Did you install the WSUS Role exactly as described in the documentation?
Were there any other roles, features, services, or applications installed onto this server
after your original (working) installation of WSUS?

Oh, well, I have red and followed the documentation exactly step-by-step on the technet library, and I can guarantee you nothing went wrong because this is not my first installation for it
When I told you about the old damaged installation and the new installation which is also failed and showed me the same symptoms as the old one, I was sure that nothing wrong with the WSUS itself, but rather it is something wrong with the environment
Answering to your above questions, the answer for all is that: that server is only used for WSUS, nothing more
Anyway, I have managed to restore the service thanks to your previous reply where you point to the CONFIG folder inside the NET framework folder, I checked the files in there, some were changed to the date I think has stopped the service, so I repaired the
NET framework 2, and restarted
It is working fine now and syncing with the update server

Package Services are not working in APP-V Client

Hi Guys,
As Virtualizing iPhone Config Utility 3.6 in APP-V 5.0 Publishing in APP-V Client.
After launching shortcut, it is throwing error like "Apple Mobile service" is not working and service is also not installing in client machine while it is automatic. it is running through local System".
can any say that APP-V 5.0 is having ay limitations that it will not capture service which it running through Local Service"
i have tested some packages which is having services in Local service not capturing.
can any one explain.

The limitation is that only services running as LocalSystem are captured and supported.

BB 9220 Curve- Internet Services are not working

I had a problem with BB internet activation; My sim is already activated with BB BIS plan (pay as you go - etisalat UAE)
I was under the impression that the brand new device must be having some issue and went for the replacement with the seller with a condition that it should be tested before the replacement billing; they are agreed and they tested with 3 new devices, all are brand new pieces and they opened packing infornt of me. I had the same issue, I could not get BB BIS service on any of these devices;
The second part of troubleshooting; I put my sim in another handset which is already working with another sim but same provider. It just started working with my sim. All the services are active.
I reported the same with the service provider as they told me to replace the handset and check. They are still working on this issue and now started blaming the device.
I also contacted BB tollfree support and waiting their updates in this.
What I have observed in both the cases
New devices not pulling the service book entries from the service provider.
Working BB device has already pulled those provider's provisioning service book entries and thats the reason it worked. ( I am forced to believe so)
Anyone had come across such a situation before; please respond. I strongly believe the service book entries are pushed from the service provider, in my case thats not happening. Its a limited knowledge the experience with the handset I did troubleshooting for the past one week. If I am wrong please correct me. thanks in advance.

Whenever I try to see my location,,,,, I can't why??

First, verify that location services are on and that the app you are using has been granted privledges to use it. Look in Settings > Privacy > Location Services.
Alos, if you have WiFi-only iPad, it does not contain a built-in GPS chip - only the 3G models do. Apple relies on a database of WiFi hot spot locations and it could be that your hotspot and those around you have never made it into that database.
What have you done to troubleshoot already? What were the results?

Have turned location on and off, reset everything multiple times ( lots of hours and bandwidth to download ), Siri is now working part time, I guess she has cut back her hours for the summer. Even in these forums was suggested to check with Skyhook who does the global positioning, and after hours with them, they ended up saying that they have nothing to do with it anymore, Apple does. All to no avail and much frustration! I wonder if this is happening with the iPhone's? i'd like to know if this is happening with others that do not use satellite as their ISP? That would help narrow down the argument with Apple vs. satellite. Fell for you! Someone please help us! Ta

My auto location service is not working on iphone 4s after updating to ios 8.1.3

Hi every one
i have recently facing a problem my compass and other apps which require location service are not working on my Iphone 4s, after i have upgrade my iphone ios to 8.1.3. Settings are correct i.e. location service is 'ON' and apps require location service are allowed to use my location.
is anyone facing the same issue. Need your valuable suggestions and advices.

Some of the services of ITS 640 are not working

Hi All,
I have implemented SAP NW 04 SR 1 Portal and integrated SRM 4.0(EBP 5.0).I have also implemented Business Package for mySAP SRM 4.0 60.2.
I am using internal ITS for HTML GUI.
Some of the iviews of the business packages are working but some of them are not.
I am getting an error message
"The URL http://g4kwas642.corp.rwdtech.com:8050/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpsc05/! was not called due to an error.

I have published all the services that are under SICF.
I had also published all the services using w3_publish_services and siac_publish_all_int.
It says that all the services are succesfully published.
When I go to SICf to test the service,some of them are not working.
Can you guys tell me what are the steps that I am missing?

I am also getting the same th_res_free error..
I have installed nw04 sr1 and trying to run ESS on it.
My problem is, i have installed sap WAS 6.4 on different machine and R/3 on different machine..
So now.. where i have WAS.. does not have all the services. All services are there on R/3 server..
Now how do i publish the services on WAS 6.4??
Coz that option to publish on INTERNAL site is not coming on my R/3 (4.7) as it does not have WAS 6.4.. its on different machine.
Please tell me what can be done in this case.
I cant create a R/3 transaction iView using webgui because of this. my Web gui service on WAS 6.4 runs fine whne i test it in SICF .. but not in Iview..
Please help me out .. i dont want to install a ITS on another machine which is simple solution..

Charts are not working in Multiple Presentation Services environment.

I have implemented multiple presentation services enviornment bu follwoing this blog: http://rnm1978.wordpress.com/2009/08/25/multiple-rpds-on-one-server-part-2-presentation-services/. It was successfully implemented but charts are not working for any of the Presentation instyance.

Try the following.
Download the IDT Audio installer on the link below and save it to your Downloads folder.

When done, open windows Control Panel, open Device Manager and open up Sound, Video and Game Controllers. Right click the IDT device and select Uninstall - you should also get a prompt to remove the current driver, tick the box to allow this and then proceed with the uninstall.
When complete, shut down the notebook, unplug the AC Adapter and then remove the battery. Hold down the Power button for 30 seconds. Re-insert the battery and plug in the AC Adapter.
Tap away at the esc key as you start the notebook to launch the Start-up Menu and then select f10 to enter the bios menu. Press f5 to load the defaults ( this is sometimes f9, but the menu at the bottom will show the correct key ), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter. Press f10 to save the setting and again use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter.
Let Windows fully load - it will automatically load an audio driver, but just let this complete. Then open your Downloads folder, right click on the IDT installer and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation. When this has completed, right click the speaker icon in the Taskbar and select Playback Devices. Left click 'Speakers and Headphones' once to highlight it and then click the Set Default button - check if this has had any effect on the audio issue.

As we have gone through the source code(Airplay
Audio POSIX receiver v190.9.p6) in dnssd_clientshim.c file and in API DNSServiceGetAddrInfoResponse has provided the implementation for ipv4 only.
The test setup to test the DACP over IPV6 is by disabling the IPV4
from MAC book and only enabling the Ipv6 .
We are not sure if the test procedure is correct, please clarify the same.

Unpublished BUG 5011628 matches the client issue as it is a call to split-by-page-break inside a loop.
Fix is in ScalableStringList.java version 115.4.
This is delivered in <Bug 6165466> XDOFX:CHR(N) FUNCTION FAILING.
Solution
To implement the solution, please execute the following steps:
1. Apply Patch 6165466 when it is released.
2. Test your report.

IPhone 6 location services/gps not working

Anyone else have an issue with iPhone 6 location services/gps not working? I have had it happen to me twice where it stopped working for good 7 or 8 hours and then all of sudden it starts working again. For example, directions don't work, every time I open Apple Maps it will say "Cannot determine location", then when I press the location icon on the bottom left, it will try to search again and have an approximate location but not exact, where as the iPad that I have right next to it is able to pin point the exact location. Sometimes the location circle is pulsing blue sometimes its gray. If I am driving and have tracking on it won't track, and so on. I have tried to setup the phone as new without restoring the backup, when it stopped working with no luck, it still didn't work. I went and restore it back from backup and few hours later it started to work again. This has happened twice now since I got the phone last Friday.

Check your "Privacy" settings on your iPhone see what apps are using your location.

Web Service is not working after Upgrade SAP EHP6

Hi ,
Recently we upgraded SAP ECC 6.0 to EHP 6.
We have a custom web service which is consumed in .NET Application to get the Sold To from Sales Order.
the service is working perfectly before upgrade and it is not working after upgrade to EHP6.
When I tested the Service in WS Navigator in SAP, it is working fine.
We raised a message to SAP and SAP analyze the Traces and confirm that the HTTP Request Header coming from .NET application is not having User ID and Password , so it is throwing exception from SAP as unauthorized.
But in service it is configuration as basic authentication and log on using user id and password and .NET application is calling service by passing user ID & Password.
Customer is not happy as it is working before Upgrade and SAP confirmed every thing fine in SAP, but the service is not working.
we did the below steps.
Regenerated the configuration
Re imported the Certificates
Activated the service in SICF.
Please let me know if anybody have same problem or if any steps we are missing.
