My bbm got deleted while i was trying to download bbm 5.0.when i go to my application list in adv options i can see it there but i cant get an icon to get to it.

Most of the music I've put on my ipod nano 5th gen in the last 2 years just vanished while I was trying to add four new tracks. Stuff from before that seems to be still there (I add stuff manually, not sync, and the ipod wasn't full). It was a bit glitchy as soon as I plugged it in to update - threw up a few error messages, decided to verify my ipod a couple of times, After that, once or twice itunes seemed to lose the ipod completely, although as far as the laptop was concerned it was definitely still connected, so i went for the 'safe to remove hardware' option and reconnected...
I'm guessing somewhere in the midst of whatever was going on there, something got confused or corrupted, but I have no way to tell what... Ipod seems to think it is using less of its capacity now, but I don't know whether to believe it or not!
Can I get this stuff back? It's not just stuff I bought from itunes, either - things I put on from cds have gone too. I have all the music either backed up or on cds, but I'm not in the same country as my cds right now - also rebuilding all of my playlists and trying to remember what went where is going to be a pain! I need help fast. I'm on call and this is my only phone.It finally restored. I saw that a couple folks said they kept trying and finally got restored. So I decided to keep trying and retrying while I researched the techno routes folks described--DFU, tinyumbrella, and scary programming processes. I decided I'd rather put my sim chip in one of our old iphones and take mine to a shop than suffer through a bunch of complication. I switched to Apple b/c I got tired of playing programmer. I digress. After a few minutes itunes would drop my phone from dashboard yet continued showing the checking with Apple...status. So I repeatedly force-quit itunes, restarted phone, unplugged and plugged back into computer. Each time I'd do whatever itunes prompted then walk away. After about an hour of this, for no apparent reason, it went directly into recovery. Didn't lose any photos but did have to reinstall most of my apps. It has to be an Apple network issue related to this particular upgrade.

I uninstalled and reinstalled but the program still won't open. I was trying to download an mp3 file last evening. Instead the site tried to install a new audio player. I did not want it so uninstalled it immediately. I think in that process something was deleted that I need for iTunes but I do not know what. How do i figure out what is gone and recover it?

Try downloading and installing the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware. Update your MBAM definitions and then run a full scan of the PC. (Takes about 2 hour on my Lenovo.)

My used postpaid moto g was accidentally activated on verizon while I was trying to activate it on the tracfone boyp program. The phone was activated on tracfone but I could not dial the number *22890 to finish the activation. The setup wizard on the moto g will only let you activate the phone on verizon. Had tracfone cs rep on my landline phone and was waiting for verizon rep on the moto g. Waited 20 minutes but verizon rep never answered.
How and where do I get help from verizon to deactivate the account and release my meid number. Also how do I bypass the setup wizard so that I can activate my phone on TRACFONE? Thank you.There's no other way to track it other than Find My iPhone. All you can do is wait to see if it ever goes back online. The serial number will only help to identify it as yours if it is ever found, and the IMEI number would only allow your carrier to blacklist the phone so it couldn't be reactivated on their network, if the carrier offers this service.

While I was trying out the voice over option on my phone I somehow put it in a mode to where the screen stays black and it will only talk to me. How do I get it back to normal?

The screen on my iphone 3 froze while I was trying to update it. Now it has the iTunes icon with the end of a charger pointint up to it. Unplugging or restarting doesn't help. The same thing always comes back on the screen. It is completely frozen.

You can change the incoming mail server for an email account by going to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Accounts > select the account to change > under INCOMING MAIL SERVER select Host Name > enter the correct name.
