My bill has gone haywire. Why God, why?

Uh so yea. I'm the son of my dads contract and I hate to see him upset and such. Now I don't want a sob story and all but my dad recently finished a contracting job and hasnt found a job for a month now. It's kinda scary. Anyways yea when I got my iPhone about a month ago we had to pay something close to $350. Me and my dad guessed it was for the month in advance we hadn't even started yet. because both of our contracts are $60 bucks and we are on the more everything plan with 3GB of data. So now a couple weeks late we get ANOTHER bill and re around $200! And when we got my iPhone the guy said he could take ten dollars off our contracts. Right now all it seems is that he added $50 to our account. Now we have another bill due the 6th of april and that's also $200. Any reasons of this?? All I need is an explanation so I can tell my dad.

Look at your bill. How are the charges broken down? You can explain your bill better than anyone on these forums because you have access to it. Anyone on this forum would only be making guesses as to what is on your bill where you could actually look at the bill and see the itemization listed on it.
You don't say if your father has a smartphone, so I will guess that he does.
2 smartphones on your account at $40 line access fee/month = $80
3 GB of shared data = $50
taxes, etc = $10-$20
total should be $140 - $150
What else is listed on the bill to bring it up to $200. Do you have insurance on the phones? Do you have ringback tones? Do you have data overages? We can't see your bill. We can't explain what we can't see. You will have to look.

  • TS3048 My wireless apple keyboard for my Imac has gone haywire.

    The wireless keyboard for my iMac has gone haywire. The signal to the computer appears to be corrupted. When I turn it on it automatically fills in all the spaces in the box where I am supposed to type in my password at startup in order to complete booting up. It will not allow me to erase any of the letters to properly type in the password, but repaetedly fills in the spaces to capacity. It will also affect & turn on the audio volume & just goes mad until I turn it off when the computer returns to normal - although of course this means that I am unable to log in to access anything. Tried changing the keyboard batteries but no different. Any thoughts please??

  • Ipad all buttons stopped working and volume button has gone haywire

    I've had my ipad 4 16g wifi for the last year and a half with no problems whatsoever and then all of a sudden yesterday it's as if it's become possessed! ALL of the buttons have become nonresponsive, so I can't go to the homepage without using my fingers to sweep it, I cannot close my apps because the home button doesn't work, I can't turn the volume up or down using the volume button and I can't even turn off my ipad with the power button. Nothing seems to work and when they do, it works for 10 minutes and goes haywire again.
    THe volume button seems to be the worse for some reason with nothing even being close to it, it goes on and off and on and off sporadically for a span of 10 minutes. The ipad can still function but is considerably slower when the volume is going haywire and I have absolutely no clue why. What I have tried so far is resetting all settings and rebooting the ipad multiple times and this has not solved the issue. I have also updated to the latest software since the problem and it hasn't helped either. Any ideas?!!

    Try this, but you may not be able to  - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.   • Connection to Airport has gone haywire since upgrade to 10.6.7

    I've been searching the web for five days not to come to solution with my problem. Many users reports the same problem and so far i haven't seen anybody come up with something that works to fix this.
    Since i upgraded to 10.6.7 my WIFI hasen't work at all or just for a few minutes. Afters suggestions from another user i downgraded the firmware on my Airport to 7.4.2 and the WIFI was working a little bit better for a moment, but then back to normal. I've trashed preference files and zapped PRAM. Still no luck.
    We have 2 MBP and both stopped working over WIFI the moment we upgraded them. All other devices work fine over WIFI, like the iPhones, PS3, Wii etc.

    Here's what I did to get mine to work again:
    System Preferences-Network-
    Highlighted 'airport', then in the right hand side clicked 'advanced'
    Under 'Airport' I deleted all preferred networks.
    Under 'TCP/IP' I turned off 'configure IPv6'
    Under "Proxies" I deleted everything in the box that says 'Bypass proxy settings for these Hosts and Domains'.
    I hit OK or Apply, and all of a sudden everything worked again.  I don't know why I did half of what I did, but something worked.

    Yes, the color has been deleted iOS 6.
    You have tried turingin on shuffle, right?
    Try:
    - Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost
    Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Reset all settings
    Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
    All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup
    - Restore to factory settings/new iPod.

    It just won't close. every time i exit it pops itself open a few seconds later. i told it to get rid of the icon in the system tray, that won't help either. why will it not just exit?
    in related news, my ipod won't connect anymore. the computer gets as far as recognizing that there's hardware attached, but itunes will then freeze and not do anything and i have to unplug the ipod to get my computer working again.

    If anyone else can't play songs from their device in iTunes, try steps below which solved my problem:
    Be sure your device is selected.
    Right Click anywhere on Contents screen.
    Select "Reset Plays" your selected song(s) should begin playing.
    The "Pause, Play etc" buttons are no longer greyed out.

The outgoing email keeps saying the server is wrong but it wont let me change it and even when I do it doesnt work it just keeps showing that damned pinwheel .     I just called my provider and they tell me they've been inundated with questions about this problem - it seems it's a network issue - not a computer/phone problem.

    One of the problems I have is with USB sticks.  If I copy a large file over to a usb stick it will say it copied real fast but instead keep copying in the background.
    I have to wait till the drive stops blinking to unmount it.
    If I try to save a file from a webbrowser like firefox onto the stick.  Firefox will lag very bad.
    I use 11-media-by-label-auto-mount.rules / udev to mount my devices.
    Can someone tell me why this is happening and how to fix it?

    My Ipad 2 is possessed. I was reading a book when the pages started flipping on hteir own, with apps opening and closing. I did a cold boot, but it was no help. No, it has not gotten wet.

  • My keyboard has gone haywire, shift keys and scroll Lock keeps turning on by themselves!

    Hello, recently I have a problem typing with my laptop. Mutliple times a day, both of the shift keys, and the scroll lock key turns on by themselves. These are the problems I face when typing: 1. Unwanted text is highlighted2. Letters are capital although caps lock is not on.3. When I try to browse in Google Chrome, text gets deleted and random windows start to pop up4. For some reason the word "QWEPRUIO" starts appearing sometimes when I type.
    5. Someimes while I type, suddenly the text gone missing and an asterik * appears.6. Also when this happens, my wi-fi gets turned off automatically. IT guys at my work place tried fixing it but we can't seem to find the problem source.Please help me, this is getting rather annoying especially I am using the laptoo for work!It took me more than half an hour to type a decent email to my client  Thanks!

    By any chance did something get spilled onto the keyboard (even a small amount)? Liquids can definitely cause this type of issue (Trust me, I know from experience, I have kids.). If you rule that out then open the System Preferences and click on the Keyboard settings, put a check in the 'Show Input menu in menu bar' box. This will add a menu bar pull down menu that will allow you to 'Show Keyboard Viewer.' If you select the 'Show Keyboard Viewer' option does the keyboard layout match the keyboard you are using? When you press the keys you are having issue with does the corresponding key light up on the keyboard viewer? Please post your results.

    When I ordered Inifinity Opt 2 I was paying £43.99 (non direct debit) and now it's gone up to £46 something! I noticed I'm now on Line Rental Plus.. I looked into it and I'm seriously not interested at all!! I don't use a landline phone, which is what it's added benefits are for. I use broadband only.
