My bionic has started having my calls hang up unexpectedly and tries to dial calls during a call by my face touching screen I guess, can I fix it?

This started about 2 weeks ago, when I get calls they either can't hear me and we gotta call back, or during a call my screen lights up and either my face causes it to hang up or phone does, or it try's to dial another phone number for me, it tried an international number, I can not afford this for sure, but I have cleaned senors and screen per protocol and tried updates. At the same time my camera started only focusing every now and then, it doesn't alert me for some of my calls and texts randomly, and starts to make a call on its own while it is sitting on a table with no one touching it, is it me and my phone or is others having these issues and can I fix them?

Well it started like this I've been away for 12 days and I usually inplug things before I go on vacation, I
Come plug everything back in start up and it's stuck on the grey screen with the ape logo and the spinning gear. I left about 3hrs on this then assumed its struggle to find the start up disc so I plug the original DVD start up disc in. Then it start up with that to the install screen and could find a hard disc to install to? So I eject that DVD and try with the other DVD. And now this is where I am now.
I have a password set on my start up and guest user. I am just trying to start up as guest user and the gear has stopped spinning and now I just have a grey screen with apple logo.
Ups I now have a grey screen with no apple logo put the screen is textured.

Back up all data.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Select the login keychain from the list on the left side of the Keychain Access window. If your default keychain has a different name, select that.

ok, I did, and it said again congrats your iPhone is unlocked, but, when it said there was a new carrier update, I cancelled it, but, it asked me again, I cancelled again, I guess I'm scared it will lock it again if I allow the carrier update.
Oh, there it goes again, this time on the phone, arg. I hit update, I hope it doesn't freak out.
I'm glad I didn't destroy the SIM like I almost did. But, it will come out again, longer battery life with the cell portion turned off.

It is a newer MacBook, just over 1 year. It is well cared for, hasn't been dropped, etc. I don't want to pay for expensive repairs for such a new computer, and I certainly can't afford a new one!
I've tried updating my system like the Support page suggested, but no improvement. The problem started just the other day, and is progressively getting worse.

when my phone goes into sleep mode with non activity, I receive a call but cannot answer it because touch screen won't respond, no button is responsive, I have to reboot the phone. What is this issue?

That's got to be quite annoying! Is this a brand new issue or one that has been going on for a while? Did any specific event - such as a new app installation, software update, or physical/liquid damage - prompt this issue to start?

It sounds like you had been updating the phone and now it is in recovery mode. Take a look at this info first:
If you started your device in recovery mode by mistake, restart it to exit recovery mode. Or you can just wait—after 15 minutes the device will exit recovery mode by itself.
If you are unable to get out of Recovery Mode, use the following article to restore your device with iTunes:

Why do I get a black screen if I multitask to another app and then return to Facetime during a call?

Whenever I swap to another application from Facetime during a call, I get a black screen when I return to Facetime and I am forced to end the call by hitting the Sleep/Wake button. Help!

SPA509G appears registered and online, no dial tone & cannot make calls.

SPA509G phone just stopped working one day. No dial tone, appears to be online and registered. Tried a brand new phone with no luck. Updated phone firmware to 7.5.6a with no change. I checked several areas with no luck. Deleted user and re-created with no change.

I must be missing something here but why do you think its on the "E" side ? . It takes 2 wires for a landline phone to work properly why cant it be "dis" a leg on the "D" side ? I await to be enlightened. For every 1 "E" side I fixed there was about 50 "D" sides faulty. The ratio is large . While "E" side cables get updated occasionaly . That isnt true of "D" sides due to the vaying locations and pole/wallboxes.direct feeds etc. Many "D" side cable has been in the ground since the 50s and are paper insulated.

How can I improve performance on my iPad 1. I am having problems with apps closing unexpectedly and also with slow response.

My iPad 1 has become almost unusable apps crash without warning and the response time is very slow.

1. Close all inactive apps in the Task Bar. Double-click the Home button and hold apps down for a second or two. Tap the minus sign to close app.
2. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple Logo.

Mid-2010 macbook pro has started having "black screens"

apple store diagnosed as "software failure". they wiped it clean & gave me instructions to reinstall/restore from backup at home. successfully reinstalled but another black screen after about an hour.
i am NOT a computer person so i need kindergarten language/instructions/suggestions (fitting, as i was a kinder teacher). i am a 6 hour roundtrip to the apple store, living in a rural town after 35+ years of living in an area of 6 million with MANY apple stores close by.
has this happened to anyone else & if so, can you tell me how you corrected it? again, VERY elementary language please!

You may have the mid-2010 problem. There's an issue with the graphics module on that machine. There was a program in place to replace the motherboard within 3 years of purchase, but you're probably outside of that. Some folks have supposedly gotten theirs changed outside of that period, so you can try. There's a very specific test Apple has for this called the VST, which should detect the problem. I don't think all the Genius Bar folks are aware of this issue, so it's best to ask for it specifically. Take along a copy of your kernel panic report if you're getting one.

What you can do to use it is download gfxstatus from http://gfx.io and force the graphics to Intel. That will lessen the panics at the expense of graphics speed.

I have the iPhone 4s on Verizon and never had this problem until I recently updated to iOS 7.0.2. I have the same case on it for several months. Yesterday, when I was talking on the phone with someone, it appeared as though I lost the call. But when I looked down at my phone, it was trying to Facetime with someone in my contact list. It happened again today. Different person, but both people have names that start with "A", so they are at the top of my contact list. Very frustrating! So, obviously updating to the latest iOS either did not help or was the cause of the problem.
