My black berry playbook has no menu due to factory reset

hello I made a complain before regarding my black berry play book to which I factory reset and now has no menu just and only a browser
I fired a complaint like this to the community I was given some steps to follow to have it restored again I did that to a point where am to choose my device It was not found ie the black berry playbook was not found and the second step am to go tp preference again I cpund not get it
so the help rendered to me has not been helpful
please help me fix this problem

IPod Touch 4 has gone wonky even after factory reset!!!

I have an iPod Touch 4. It has the latest o/s (6.1.3, there isn't anything newer available). I am running the latest iTunes. I have a pc with windows 7. Everything was working great up until about a week ago. All of a sudden my ipod crashed and got stuck in a boot loop... I couldn't get it to respond any other way so I did a factory reset and restore. I had massive issues after that -- most of my apps wouldn't sync/install. Very little would work. Basically it's useless. So I did another factory reset and restore. Same problem. Must have done this a dozen times. It takes a long time to do a restore btw and it fails on top of that...
So today I finally did a factory reset and set it up like new instead of doing a restore. I installed only a few apps, not all. It appeared to work ok. I just did a sync and started to install more apps and viola -- funky iPod again... It appears to work, apps open, you can even play or use them. Then randomly it turns screen off, closing the app and appears to reboot (but it doesn't reboot every time)... Things do work on it, I get push notices ok... I had turned off the screen lock thing so I didn't think it should be turning the screen off anymore...
I might add, even during a sync it appears to be doing something -- it beeps, screen goes black, apple logo come up, it comes up again but its super fast so I am not sure if it's rebooting itself or what? The sync just sits there waiting... So it never appears to be dropping the connection...
This is driving me batty!!!!!!!!!!!
I tried doing searches online and it appears I am not alone... Is this some kind of problem with the latest version of itunes?
Is it my ipod going belly up?
I bought this used off amazon about 1 1/2 months ago... Should I contact the seller for replacement?
Suggestions?
If I took it to the apple store I am sure it's not under warranty so I don't think they would help me...
Everyone please chime in cause I would LOVE to use my ipod again! It's not much use to me in this state!!!!!!!

it looks like it may have been a bad app or multiple bad apps... or maybe even corrupted stored data...
it appears to be working ok now -- i've added about 1/2 my apps back... a lilttle at a time... doing backups before adding anything new each time... and it's ok... there were only a few games I cared about keeping the data for and I was able to pull that data out of some old backups using iBackup Robot... careful to pull ONLY the data for a handful of apps, NOT all the data for everything... I even decided to give up on 2 games and start over again cause I suspect they may have been part of the problem as they have new updates all the time and the updates are usually flawed.. so i just started over on those 2...
so the lesson Illaass to learn here is, before you jump in going on about how it's a bad logic board which it appears NOT to be -- let the discussion I was hoping to have with others and not you (no offense, others who actually have had this problem not someone parroting back what he's read) take place...
and if you see someone posting a similiar problem to mine -- suggest what I did first! cause most of us (including myself) don't have $199 sitting around doing nothing to buy a new ipod with... lol

Has anyone actually done a factory reset on an Airport Express 802.11n?

Apple is telling me two ways to do a factory reset of the new Airport Express with "N" capability. One representative says that you hold the reset button while plugging in the AE and then 4 green flashes should occur and you release the reset button. The other rep says you should hold the reset button while plugging it in and then a series of rapid amber flashes should occur and then you release the reset button. The website says flashing green......sigh.
I have tried both and the green flash never happens while the rapid amber flashes happens and then I release the reset button. I have tried several times and this does not factory reset my AE as all information is still in there when I use the setup utility.
So, if anyone has actually done one of these, which method is correct???

I too had problems with Airport Utility not recognizing the Airport Express. I followed the instructions on the manual to hold the reset button for 10 secs and that did nothing. I did notice that around the 5 sec. mark the AE flashed the amber light repeatedly and then went back to a slow flashing. So instead of holding the button for 10 secs the next time around I only held it for 5 and voala!! It worked. After a few more resets I was able to finally set AE the way I wanted it (creating a new wireless network) and all is well now.
BTW, this is the only I could get my new Macbook Pro's wifi to work consistently and without problems. Prior to this, it kept loosing the network connection and speeds were very slow.

Why, for no apparent reason has my iPad forced a factory reset I.e. Wipe all my data overnight??

I Woke up this morning and couldn't access my iPad. It will only allow me to connect to iTunes to restore factory settings,. I have no issues until now and don't understand why this has been forced upon me?? Please help!

1. On your homescreen, press the Menu key > SHOW ALL, so that SHOW ALL is checked.
2. Look in EACH folder on your device... Applications, Instant Messengers, Downloads, etc.
If you still don't see it, look at Options > Advanced > Applications. Do you see it listed there?
If nothing works, do a simple reboot on the device: With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot.

Blocking call from some numbers in Black berry 9220

I want to know how to block calls from a specific number. I would also like to block SMS from the number.
I would like to know what kind of app is available for black berry 9220 for the same. Can experts please suggest.

There are some options under Settings >Firewall. Open the Settings menu and type Firewall in the search bar. There you can block text messages. Be aware that you will still be charged for the message over the network but the device won't display the message. To keep from being charged for the message you'd need to contact your wireless service provider.
As for phone number blocking you would have to go to Phone >Options. There is a call blocking feature but your provider must support it.

Black Berry Protect Back Up BlackBerry Messenger Contact....

About Black Berry Protect , we can back up contact , text message , ,calender and etc etc ....
I don't think we can back up BlackBerry Messenger Contact right ? As i have done for 2 customer they cannot back up their black berry messenger Contact....Did i mistake or the customer didn't selected first they start up their Black Berry Protect? or black berry protect doesn't back up black berry MESSENGER CONTACT ?

I just checked on my BB BOLD 9900, and the contacts are all located inside the CONTACT of the phone, I can not add any directly into the BBM, but I can make any contact part of the BBM by using the Invite to BBM in the menu, so since the BBM contact are in the CONTACT of the phone they are backed up, but they may need to be re-invited after the restore is completed
Using the Playbook and the Z10 and the Z30 and loving them

The BB has to be set up as a wifi hotspot. After you do that just connect the iPad to the wifi network created on the BB the same way you connect to any other wifi network.

Video on my Black Berry Flip

I"m trying to get video converted correctly on my Black Berry flip phone, but I can't seem to figure out how to convert the video with the Roxio Media manager so that the video is saved sideways.. So when I play it in my Black Berry Flip it fills up the whole screen...
Anyone know how I would do this?

Strange indeed -- but your follow up did manage to clarify your original question. But, just to be sure...let me restate.
You are attempting to move video files to your BB via Media Manager, and when it converts (during the move), the result it does not rotate the image 90 degrees so that it uses your entire screen. Rather, it leaves it unrotated and the image is squeezed into the narrow width of your screen.
Is that correct? If not, please provide corrections. In any event, more information would be needed to help:
1) Your specific BB model number:
2) Your specific BB OS level (all 4 octets please):
3) Your carrier/country:
4) Your Desktop Manager version (again, all 4 octets please):
I assume that, when you perform the copy/transcode, you are selecting the Media Manager option to transcode for optimal playback on your BB device?

Connecting my black berry to device software

so i have downloaded the black berry software and am currently trying to update my devices software but my blackberry is not connecting to the computer. it said my bb might need to be charged but the battery is atleast 25% charged and i have tried a different usb cord any idea what im doing wrong? the error i have recieved is jvm error 513

My black berry

my blackberry curve 8520, wont turn on or even charge what should i do to try and get this to work?
when i try and charge it all that comes up is the blackberry chrge sign with a bg red cross going through it.
ive had this before but i figured it out i had to take the battery out and put it on charge with out the battery in, after 20 seconds i put the battery back in and it worked.
i have tryed to this, nothing happens.
before the big cross comes up its just the red light that appears, after that nothing happens, it doesnt even show its charging
i really dont know what to do so please my i have you help to help me try and get my black berry working

There is more to the health of a lithium ion battery than just checking it's voltage. I don't recall off hand what the voltage is supposed to be but if one battery works and the other doesn't then that seems obvious to me that one battery is defective and one is OK.
