My BlackBerry z10 turnoff automatically when battery reaches 75%..what we do??Pls help

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain directly connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB, not a cradle):
With the battery inside, connect your BB to the wall charger
Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
Remove the battery
Wait 15 minutes
Insert the battery
Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
This has been known to "kick start" some BBs. If it fails, please try it again but increase the wait time in step 4 to 2 hours, and perhaps as long as 3-4 hours. Sometimes this can recalibrate the battery meter.
It is also possible that your battery or BB has experienced a problem...to test, this sequence is needed:
Obtain an known good and already fully charged additional battery...use it in your BB and see what happens
Obtain access to a known good and identical BB...use your battery in it and see what happens
The results of this will indicate if it's your BB or your battery that has the problem. Note carefully please that "new" and "know good" are not necessarily the same things. While rare, a "new" battery certainly could be defective. Rather, the simplest (and least costly, btw) method to conduct this test is to find someone with an identical BB who has no issues...trade batteries and see what happens.
Good luck and let us know!

  • Mbl switchoff automatically, when battery is bellow 30%

My black berry z10 which I had bought in this june,is being switched off at any point when battery is bellow 30%....

With wall outlet charger connected, let it charge at least 15 minutes and LEAVE the charger connected and remove the battery and replace it to reboot.
The device has its own on-device battery meter and the battery knows it's own charge/discharge computation. Often the device and the battery will disagree, or be "off sync" in the power remaining in the battery, and the reboot as described will reset that on-device meter.
    Compliments of @JSanders

    Hi mhusni,
Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community.
When using the country code included in the phone number field of contacts, you may not be able to see contact names on incoming calls even though the country code is correct.

  • Switching off automatically when battery reaches 63 percent

Hi , Im using  blackberry Z10 of os version 10.2.2141 my phone automatically swiching off when battery level reaches to 63% it again restarting when i connect to charger...Any Help....

You can't charge with the battery out of the device.
What is happening is that your on-device battery meter is off sync with the a the actual battery charge. Connect to your OEM wall outlet battery charger and while still connected and powered on, remove the battery a minute to reboot. After reboot leave to fully charge to 100%.
Thus will reset the false charge reading.

  • Can I keep the power cord plugged in when battery reaches 100%l?

    Hello,
I'm assuming the battery stops recharging when it reaches 100%, right? In other words I can keep the power chord plugged in without any risk of "overcharging". Correct?
    Thanks.

Helpful, thanks. FYI, 2 Apple agents at Mac support have advised otherwise (said I have to remove the cord).
How bizarre....I have a 2.5 year old MacBook that gets great battery life (~4hrs) and begs to differ. Anyway, Thanks for the Star!

  • Z10 Freezing, automatically turning off, battery

I've had my Z10 since Saturday June 1st. So far I'm really enjoying it, having fun playing with it and getting use to it. However, since getting it it has turned off on its own several times and froze a few times. Is this a bug that will be fixed or a temporary thing that will fix itself or should I bring it back?
My other issue is the battery. Charging seems to vary. The other night I plugged it in to charge and after 8 hours it was still charging. Other times it takes a couple of hours.

That is odd eight hours to do charge, something could be wrong with the device inless there any other solutions out there!

Could you explain what you mean by "...refused to be turned off..."? Is the ON / OFF button greyed out? Are you getting some message when you are denied decryption?

  • Blackberry Z10 and Smart Card Reader Battery Life

We have several users with new Z10s using Smart Card Reader 2.  After activation with BAS10, users state the Smart Card Sled battery life has dramatically decreased from the old setup with 9930s on BAS5.  One user states he can have it fully charged at work and it will be dead by the time he gets home.
I searched around a bit, and haven't found anyone else reporting this issue.  Any ideas what might be causing this?

Hi my two Z10 don't have this issue, what OS version are you running? The newer version should have fixed the battery issue.

  • Macbook shuts down unexpectedly when battery reaches 20% and unplugged

I noticed this behavior after installing the Bonjour Update 2010-001 (version 1.0) and the Remote desktop client update (version 3.3.2) last night. Upon reaching 20% of battery capacity, the macbook shuts down, and will not restart until it is plugged in. There is no warning, it just turns off.
Does anyone know what's going on?

Wow! I recently had this same EXACT problem and called Apple Care about it last week and said that they cannot do anything about it since my battery cycle is too high ( only 315) ! MacBook is the same model as yours. I finally brought mine in today at a local genius bar (Otay Ranch) and they replaced the battery even though My Mac's just a little over a month its 1 year warranty. I will now calibrate this battery and see if the same problem persists. When I called about this problem, the Apple Care rep says that he has never seen this problem before but now I just saw this and glad that I wasn't the only one, maybe its a faulty design on the first generation Unibody with removable batteries (Late 2008)

  • Macbook pro shuts down when battery reaches 90%

Ever since I installed iOS, both my Macbook Pros have started showing the same strange behavior. On battery power, they suddenly shut down even when there is still supposedly plenty of power left. Last night one of them (the newer one) shut down at 90%. the other shut down at 75%. Any ideas?

I really hope that sig doesn't work for Apple Support... or at least he doesn't anymore.
Allan, sometimes people make mistakes speaking technical words, specially if those are Apple achronims. What differentiates a good answer from a waste of time is when one makes an effort to understand what the other is trying to say and gives a potential solution.
However drmezan, has wasted his time with you two explaining his problem until he got the question corretly formulated, and when at last he manages the way you like it... none of you reply... is this a joke?
Are you kidding people here or what?
    drmezan:
I'm suffering the same situation here, however if I plug it to the power supply it doesn't shuts down.
Would it be related to the temperature ? It's true that my Mac Book Pro gets really hot quite quick, but it only turns off suddently when running on battery.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks.
