My bookmarks bar moved up to the address bar, how can I move it back down?
I don't know what I did, but for some reason the bookmarks I have on the Bookmark Toolbar are now sitting right beside the address bar, while leaving the actual Bookmark Toolbar empty.
I tried to "hide" the Bookmark Toolbar to see what would happen, but only the empty bar disappeared, while the misplaced bookmarks are still present.
What did I do? How can I fix it so they're back where they belong? :(
Check that you still have the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" placed on the Bookmarks Toolbar
If the menu bar is hidden then press F10 or hold down the Alt key, that should make the "Menu Bar" appear
Make sure that you have the "Bookmarks Toolbar" visible: "View > Toolbars"
* Check in "View > Toolbars > Customize" that the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
* If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the Customize window onto the Bookmarks Toolbar
* If you do not see the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" then click the "Restore Default Set" button

I see the home page icon on the right side of the page. How do I move it to the left side?
Right-click on a toolbar, select Customize. You can then drag and drop the Home icon to the right side of the toolbar. Click Done to complete the process.

Is there a way to move these music files back into the library? I do back up an external HD using Time Machine?
Hi,
The best option is to restore your iTunes folder and files from your time machine back up.

Recently, for no reason that I can explain, several of my iTunes files have been moved or their information has been changed. For example, my iTunes now lists two copies of Smoke On The Water by Deep Purple, but when I play one of them it is actually The Song Remains The Same by Led Zeppelin. This has happened to dozens of my songs. Also, several of my movie files have been listed as songs, and moved to the music folder on my computer. I tried moving them back to the movies folder, but when I opened iTunes they went back to the music folder. iTunes won't allow me to change their media kind to "movie." How do I get all of my files back where they are supposed to be, under their correct names?
I didn't mess with the iTunes Media folder previously, so I don't think that was the cause. Anyway, I manually fixed most of the songs, but I still can't figure out how to fix the movies that became listed as songs.
Here is a screenshot of what it looks like when I click on "Get Info" for one of the movies (which has ended up in the music section on iTunes):
There is no option to change the media kind to "movie" or "video" even though it is a movie and it still plays as a movie if I press play. -
I have clicked on hide inside bookmarks button then bookmarks button in the toolbar disappeared , How can I get it back ?
Hiding the Bookmarks menu item is not a default feature in Firefox.
Do you have a Delicious extension installed?
If so, look for that option in that extensions options.
If not, look at the extension s that you ''do'' have installed for that preference. -
Inadvertently moved my masters-how can I move them back?
I'm hoping someone here can help me. I'm very new to Aperture, and somehow managed to move my masters for a bunch of my files out of the Aperture library. At least, I'm assuming that's what happened and caused the little red slash in the bottom right of the image previews. How can I move them back? I can locate the folder that I assume was created from the move. I'd be really grateful for any assistance.
These were referenced or managed images? The only way to move them out of the library, and have Aperture not track the move, is to open the library package by right clicking and choosing "show package contents." This isn't easy to do accidentally.
If they weren't managed, they wouldn't have been in the library. In this case, if you moved them around in the finder, then Aperture can loose track and you'll get the missing image icon. If that's the case, you'll need to right click on the image in Aperture and choose "Manage Referenced Files..". From there you can reconnect to your images. Once they are reconnected, and if you want them contained in your Aperture library as managed images, you can choose to "Consolidate Master..." from the "File" menu. This will move them into the Aperture library. -

i got an iPad and all my app's, music, and movies are on it, but when i try to download some apps to mi iPhone, they doesn't appear on the purchased tab, how could i move them back to itunes so i can access thru iCloud? i have an 2nd generetion ipad and an iphone 5, thanks for you answers!
(I think the daughter got he better end of the deal!) I believe if you change the password and user id one of the devices it will stop that from occurring. But I'm not the one to tell you how to do it; someone like "Illaass" (Illaass seems to know how to correct / fix almost anything!) will know how if you don't. Just look for the "cat" icon.

I have playlists on my original iPod but are not in the library. How can I move them from the iPod to the library?
She can choose to either enable the setting on her iPod to Manually manage music and videos. With setting enabled she can sync content to her iPod from multiple computers without it affecting whats already stored her iPod. For more information on syncing content to an iPod manually see this article.
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1535
However, I would recommend copying whats on her iPod to her iTunes library first. There are several ways to accomplish this. See this older post from another forum member Zevoneer discussing the different ways to do it.

Had to buy a new PC as the hard disk of the old one broke and lost all purchases, but still have them on the iPhone. How can I sync them back to the new PC in iTunes without losing them?
You should be able to:
Backup the device to the new installation
Transfer your purchases into a newly authorized library
Recover any other media using third party tools as suggested in this post from forum regular Zevoneer
Restore the device from the backup
This process should switch the association of the device to the new library, preserving the data and settings in your apps.
May also be prudent to attempt a backup to iCloud directly from the device before you start... Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > iCloud Backup > On. It won't save any media but it would preserve the general account settings and documents in case anything goes wrong while you are trying to extract your other data.
When you get it all fixed, make a backup!

I downloaded a audiobook and didn't know it had 2 parts And accidently deleted the first half, how can I get it back?
Audiobooks are currently a one-time only download from the store, so unless you copied it over to the Books part of your computer's iTunes library before you deleted it (in which case case you could sync it back to your phone), then you will need to try contacting iTunes Support and see if they will grant you a re-download of it : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
