My bookmarks have been deleted?
I recently downloaded the new FireFox beta, and was testing it out. It was working like normal, then it transferred my bookmarks, and most visited sites from my FireFox 3.6 to the 4.0. But then I decided to go back to 3.6 since it was familiar to me, and everything was normal(bookmarks still there) Then the next day i get on my computer and boot 3.6 up and half my bookmarks are gone, so I go to 4.0 and there nowhere to be found there either. Anyone know what happened or anyway I can get them back?
I figured it out! I was able to go to History>Show All History>Restore/Backup>Restore and restore my bookmarks from a few days ago when they where still intact. :)

2. Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install.

Your profile data is stored elsewhere in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder], so probably you won't lose your bookmarks or other personal data, if you don't already ''totally'' uninstall firefox(user data and settings like bookmarks, extensions, etc. located here: ~Library/Application Support/Firefox so you must uninstall it separately, to totally uninstall firefox).

When I opened up Firefox today my bookmark toolbar was completely blank. The toolbar is still there, but all the bookmarks are gone. Since I only use it for the sites I visit everyday, I just re-added them in hopes that they would stay. However when I opened up a new window they were gone again. If I open up the bookmark toolbar on the side of the screen, it will have all the pages I have attempted to have stay on the toolbar itself.
A couple of articles that may help, as your issue seen specific to the toolbar see [[Toolbar keeps resetting]]. For other possible causes see the[[Bookmarks not saved]] article.

I have updated my ipad to version 7.1 but in the process all my bookmarks and favourites have been deleted.
I tried switching off and turning back on again but they are still missing, please can someone help?Go to Settings>WiFi>Network Name - tap the blue arrow next to the name and then tap Forget this Network in the next window. Restart your iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Then go to Settings>WiFi - find your network again - enter the password and see if you can get online.
Or reboot your router - unplug it for 30 seconds and then plug it in again.
Or go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. You will have to find the network and enter the password again. -
I recently had to swap out my iphone 4s and I am having problems restoring photos and videos from icloud. When I restored my phone from icloud, half of my pics and videos have been deleted, the pics that were restored on my phone are very blurry, and the videos won't play. I get a message on my phone that says " the URL you are requesting is not found on this server". I have erased and reset my phone twice, but every time I do it, more pics and videos are deleted. I have backed up to icloud and iphoto, however, some of the pics are no longer on iphoto either. Is there someway to get the videos to play on my phone again? Make the photos not as blurry as they are now and to restore the pics and videos that have been lost? I really would love to have them back, this phone is supposed to be the best and right now it doesn't seem to be. Please help if you can.
I too have noticed that once i restored from iCloud. Pictures blurry and videos wont play!

I opened up my pages app and the document i needed opened up automatically, i turned away from my ipad to log onto my computer only to find when i look back at my ipad that ALL my documents have been deleted!! It is very important i get these back as i have an assignment to hand in tomorrow and ALL my revision is on their for my exam in 4 days time. please please please help me get my documents back onto my ipad? I have logged into icloud on my computer and can see the documents but cant work out how to get them back on my ipad???

Upon the return of a viruse stricken PC and re-downloading itunes. I noticed my playlists have been deleted. I however still have the playlists on my touch. Is it possible to sync my playlists back to my PC?

Actually, Reader SHOULD keep showing documents that no longer exist, I disagree. It's no big deal, and people will quickly realise why they can't open the file. They open more files, the old ones move off.
The REASON why it should not check is that checking whether a file exists can take a long time when things aren't good. For instance if a file server goes down, or a memory card is unplugged. That in turn would mean delays opening the File menu, and I've seen some software that can sit there for several minutes. That would really give people something of which to complain... -
Is there a way to restore text messages back to my iPhone 5s version 7.1.1? I have several text messages that have been deleted somehow and I would like to restore them to my phone.
I have tried restoring it from the last backup and that did not help. Please advise.

ICloud keeps duplicating my contacts, any of which I need to delete anyways. Is there a way to delete multiple contacts at once? I have been deleting them one at a time, but they keep reappearing.

There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 9 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. Describe the problem as fully as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have. -

all my songs have been deleted from my ipod because I accidently deleted the ipod selection button on the left side of itunes. All my songs are still on my library but I need to put them back on my ipod!The same thing has happened to me!!! I recieved the "ipod selection" because my ipod nano library was bigger than my ipod storage space, but I deleted many of the songs since then. My nano hold 500 songs, and I have 498 songs now. I thought that by deleting the "ipod selection", the 498 songs in my library would be the songs on my ipod, but now I have nothing on my ipod and all the songs remain in my music library! I NEED them back in my ipod as soon as possible!!!!!

I went on my iTunes today, and it kept saying "
The itunes library file cannot be saved. You do not have enough access privileges for this operation" I restarted my computer and opened iTunes, only to find that all of my apps and songs have been deleted. When I plug in my iPod, it says that this iPod is registered with another computer. My computer, however, is recognizing my iPod as a digital camera, with the name of my father's iPod. I have no idea how to fix this and get all of my songs/apps back. Someone please help!Check your iTunes version - although your 5th gen works with older iTunes versions, at least 7.4 is required for the IPT - older versions will not even recognize it.
As for the Apple site not working, there have been sporadic reports of that, no known reason, usually resolved in a few hours.
You could also try updating using Apple Software Update (usually found in Start > All Programs), or from within iTunes (Help menu > Check for Updates).
