The browser search where you type in a website is missing.

I reinstalled firefox on my moms laptop to see if that would fix the problem but its the same thing. top left corner there is file, edit, view, history, booknarks, tools, help but nowhere to type in web addresses. Set homepage to google and that thankfully works but there is nowhere to type in other adrresses. This is extremely frustrating.

Note that you should be able to bring up a location bar replacement via Ctrl+L when the location bar isn't visible.

Pictures and movies moved to sd card by the OS are not accessible by Album or Movies anymore

Hello all,
I am new to Android. I own a Xperia Z2 and placed in a 64g SD card. As I take more and more pictures and movies with the camera, every once in a while the OS send me a message saying that the main memory is almost full and suggest to relocate files on the SD card.
I accepted a few times just to realise that the Album and Movies apps are not updated. the link is lost and I dont find the tools to help the OS or the apps find the files at their new location.
Using a file manager (File Commander) I can see where the files are now. I can even see a preview by changing the view settings in the file manager but I cant open them. I get a broken link image instead.
Anyone knows what to do to update the apps and get access back to the files ?

I did the procedure three times now ( media storage / force stop / restart ).
Here's what I get: When I open the Album App, the first few hundred images displayed are broken links. If I browse way down the list, I can see a few pictures that are strangely on my sd card.
Still, using the file manager, I can locate all of them manually, see the thumbnail image for every file, but cant open any.
I just tried as you suggested to put the camera storage location back on internal storage, took a new picture and I was able to see it automatically both using Album app and the File Commander App.
I am clueless. :o(

my laptop is 93.1 % filled up so its working pretty slow.. i was on a website and i tried right clicking (i needed to copy something) and the computer was to slow so it didnt work. All my bookmarks used to appear in a drop down automatically from an icon at the right end of the Bookmark Toolbar. These were not just the additional toolbar bookmarks, but all the bookmarks as you'd get from going to Bookmarks in the menu bar. Now all I have is the star that opens all bookmarks on the left of the screen. How do I get back the more convenient auto drop down on the right?

You only see the Bookmarks Menu button on the Bookmarks Toolbar if the menu bar is hidden.

When i select Internet Explorer cookies, history, favourites etc. are listed in a box where you can select the items you want to import in Firefox. I think that what you are searching be in Tools >> Options >> Privacy >> On Firefox will: change to "Use custom settings for history" then Button Show Cookies will be allowed and you will see the cookies in your browser in the next window
If you uncheck "Accept cookies from sites", probably the sites that need cookies will alert you that you need active the storage cookies

Several points here:
1. Although there is some compatibility between Numbers and Excel files, I doubt very much that "the idea of Numbers is to make it like Excel." The two applications share some similarities, but also have several differences.
2. Your Question is unanswerable in this forum. Apple does not generally reveal future development plans or schedules for its applications, and anyone with knowledge of those plans will be bound by a non-disclosure agreement.
3. "You need to" implies a feature request. If you want to request that a feature be added to a future version of Numbers, that request is better made directly to Apple, via the Feedback channel, than here, where the readers and responders are all users of the software, not developers. From the application menu (the "Numbers" menu in Numbers), choose Provide Numbers Feedback, then make your request for a feature to be added to Numbers.
Meantime, if you absolutely need the macros capabilities of MS Excel, try one of the Office clones—OpenOffice.org, LibreOffice, or NeoOffice, which may offer macro support, or use the Mac version of Excel itself.

If the same website is opening each time you launch a browser (Safari?) hold down the shift key as you launch to prevent previous pages from opening.
Have a look at your settings in Safari > Preferences. Especially General and Privacy.
Reset Safari to remove cookies and other stored data.
System Preferences > General
Have a look at your settings in System Preferences > Security & Privacy.
