My boss wants to be able to use his phone as an employee directory, any ideas on best route
Something he could also access on his iPad and Mac computer would be the best. He's looking for a way to look up and recognize his staff of over 300.
I would use Address Book and create a new group labled either "Work" or "Employee List"
I'd like to think he can use a spreadsheet to import contact data but I am not sure on this part.

I am afraid that this is a local policy of Germany as a state, and adopted by companies, which activate there. This method has been used in many European countries, but not in all countries. I am still happy that almost all the films are subtitled in Romania as this allows to hear the original language, the original voice and is very useful for learning foreign languages. Dubbing films is, in my mind, against the European spirit of mutlicultural continent, and states which still support this should abandon this method. I think this is an issue of a cultural phenomenon, not an Apple forum issue.

The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (1015)......How do I resolve this issue to be able to use my phone? Rather its restored back to 4.3.3 froom 4.3.5...I just want to be able to use my phone!

I want to be able to use airplay to stream audio to another iOS device, and then use that audio stream to be used when recording video instead of the built in microphone / microphone input. Is this possible?
A third-party app probably cannot obtain a stream from another app. To the best of my knowledge, such a capability is not provided in the software development kit, apps being "sandboxed" from each other and so allowed to communicate only in very specific and limited ways.
I'm not completely sure what you mean by "limitations on video capture". An iPhone, to the best of my knowledge, can natively record video only through it's built-in camera, and audio while doing video recording only through the built-in microphone or mic/headphone jack. There might be a video recording app that would allow audio input from an external device connected to the dock connector, but I'm not sure.

We have two iphones and only one ipad - no mac. We want to be able to use "find my iphone" for both phones. How do we get the ipad to accept two iphone accounts? icloud is enabled on all three devices.
Also, be aware of the following:
The "Find my..." function is pretty much useless if the device is in the hands of a thief. All that is necessary is for the thief to connect to any computer with iTunes and "Restore as new."
The only real protection you have is with the personal information on the device rather than the physical device itself. Something as small as an iPod/iPhone should have a strong 8-digit (or longer) password AND be configured for automatic wipe in the event of ten consecutive incorrect password entries. -
First of all, I would have to say that getting in touch with you is a nightmare and I am not at all happy that I can't just email or live chat with someone who can help! I am not a technical person, I just want to be able to use Photoshop Elements and get on with it. I bought Photoshop Elements via Amazon some months ago and it worked fine. I then got a message that advised that the trial version would expire, which it subsequently has (I have been trawling your site for weeks and weeks trying to find an email or phone contact to get some assistance). Relucltantly, I am now typing this - and I suspect it will not help in the slightest! I bought the FULL not TRIAL edition of Photoshop Elements and I have contacted Amazon who confirmed this, but say I need to contact you. Can you please let me know how I can resolve this? My HD TV has two HDMI inputs which are being used by a home theater system and my RCN cable box. i want to be able to use my appleTV as well as those but do not have another HDMI input. How can i connect it so that i can use any 1 of the 3 at any time?
Get an HDMI switcher. Plug in the ATV directly to the TV and then use the switcher on the other input.

I want to be able to use 2 different scanner machines (A4 and A3). I have installed the 2 drivers.

We have iPad2 and Macbook Pro. Both are registered to iTunes acct (same email address). We want to be able to use Facetime when she goes off to college. Any advise greatly appreciated!
On your Mac, launch FaceTime and then go to the menubar for FaceTime->Preferences.
Within Preferences for FaceTime, look for the entries under "You can be reached for calls at:" and click on "Add Another Email..."
Add another email address.
The iPad can now be used to "call" the Mac by trying to start a FaceTime connection to the alternate email address you just entered. The Mac can be used to call the iPad by trying to start a FaceTime connection to the primary email address associated with the iPad. -
I just recently synchronized my contacts using outlook express, and I want to be able to view the phone contacts on the computer, how could I do that? I can't restore the phone then back it up on my computer because I'm on using windows XP and I cannot update my iTunes and thus I can't synchronize my phone back so I lost all my important work contacts and I'm just wondering if I can somehow access it on the computer

please help, i have smashed my iphone 4 and the screen is black, but phone is still turned on and ringing. i had set it up icloud on my phone and pc before hand but not sure if i did it correctly as no photos are showing up on my pc, is there anyway i can get the photos from my phone to icloud via the pc, not being able to use the phone atall? or would i need to go on setting on the phone? please help i really need the photos of my children
Don't try to use iCloud for this. Instead, import them to your computer using your usb cable as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083. That will import photos and videos from your camera roll. You might also want to back it up before repairing or replacing it. You can do this by connecting it to your computer, opening iTunes, then going to File>Devices>Back Up; and to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases. This backup can later be restored to your repaired or replaced phone to recover your data.

I am currently in Cameroon, Africa and after arriving here, I added Global services to my plan in hopes to be able to use my phone to call local numbers. When I dial local numbers in Cameroon, with or without the country code, the call fails. I suspect it may be that the phone is 3G and this area only supports 2G. Help!
