- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- Try on another computer

I have bought a new macbook pro retina 13. I am not too familiar with Mac yet. I had an apple account with my iphone 4 which I stopped using a month ago. Now when I was trying to download the apps from that account but I dont know how to do this and I am unable to do so. I would be grateful if anyone can advise me with regards to this?
You cannot download the same Apps that you have on your iPhone. They are two seperate stores.
The store you have on your iPhone is the same for any iDevice (iPad, iPhone and iPod)
The store on your MacBook is only for Macs. -
The mouse locks up when PC left alone for over an hour. Help!
We got a HP505B Microtower PC /Windows 7, Every time we try to login to PC and it's been about an hour since PC was unused the mouse is locked up, it wont respond. We've swapped the mouse, plugged on a different USB ports and the same thing happens. Rebooting the PC works, but its a pain to do it more than once a day. Is this happening to anyone else? Can anyone offer some advice? Much appreciated.

Boot up your PC into safe mode (F8) and let it sit for an hour and see if the issue occurs.

I dont know how but the keybaord on my laptop, doesnt want to work. I am using a usb one to type this and its fine its just not very convinient. It was working perfectly fine this morning and this afternoon it just stopped. I havent spilt anything onto it so i dont understand whats happened. My trackpad does work but the mouse flitters over everything and when i want to click its like its permantly on the right click hwere the lise comes up with all the other information like copy, paste, close tab etc.
I need help fast as am a university student with a dissertation to write and a deadline on tuesday. Im not comfertable taking out the battery and anything like that. Also i dont understnad all the mbp stuff so just plain english if you can help would be very appriciated.You may have to take the computer to the Apple store to have the computer checked out.

If I understand correctly, you are unable to turn on your MacBook Pro even with a different power outlet. I would use these other troubleshooting steps from the following article, named:

If your computer won't turn on, try each of these steps:
Verify you have a good connection from your Mac to the wall outlet by confirming the power cord and adapter if present are securely connected and plugged in. To check if the wall outlet is working, plug in a lamp or other electrical device.
Disconnect all accessories that are plugged in to the computer, such as a printer, hub, or other mobile device.
If your Mac supports user-installable memory, solid state drive, or hard drive, and you recently installed any of these, make sure they are installed correctly and are compatible with your computer. If possible, reinstall the original memory or drive into the computer to find out if the behavior persists afterwards.

This MBP apparently didn't come with a DVD and safe mode ( holding shift at boot up ) isn't working.
Any ideas would be most appreciated.Call AppleCare. You should not be having problems with a brand-new machine.

IIRC, you can only download a maximum file size of 100MB with cellular.

For some reason OS X disks (whatever edition or flavors) that are supplied with Apple products only seem to contain a limited knowledge of available hard drives on the market at the time of thier publishing. This (rather opportunistically) creates a "Best Before" stale-OS X-software-copy situation where upgrading to or replacing a defective internal SATA hard drive with a newer, better or larger one is a largely hit and miss affair.
If you buy the latest and greatest disk drive available for any older Mac you are likely to run into unresolvable problems making a clean re-install of your own, old edition or flavor of OS X onto any newer or larger hard drive since the OEM (gray) "OS X Install Disks" that Apple supply with retail products seem to contain only time-sensitive lists/mapings of then-known target drives that the Drive Management Tool in the then-published old "Installer Software" will support.
Presumably new (colorful "X") retail versions of OS X (10.whatever.whatever) also contain time-limited Installers with limited knowledge of and adaptability to/compatability with a limited number of old hard drives then kicking-around on the market.
This is especially a problem nowadays since the countless "puny old" hard drives that have been on the market are largely obsolete in a few months time, as manufacturers continue to produce larger and cheaper units, discontinuing older puny products... So if your drive fails you need an exact old (or similar familial) replacement drive for your "backup copy of OS X" to do a fresh, clean OS X re-install. Otherwise you need to purchase a new retail version of OS X, since yours is now effectively obsolete. Purchasing an old, puny drive to re-install your version.flavor of OS X to avoid buying a new version of OS X is a rather false economy.
If you still have a working old hard drive with your old polluted 10.version.flavor of OS X still working on it you apparently must clone it with Time Machine or the newest version of Disk Utility (disk image copying) to most newer, larger drives, and a clean reinstall to such new hard drives is not possible. -

What is the error number in the error message? To reset the phone you must press and HOLD both buttons for at least 10 seconds, and longer until an Apple logo appears.

I am facing a strange problem on new iphone 5 that I bought last week. The maps app and the places in photo gallery shows the pin and my location, however there is no information of locations.
