My brother lost my iPod- all I care about is my photos, how do I access them?

Your camera roll photos are stored in your backup.  The only way to recover them is to restore the backup to another iPod touch or iPhone (they won't restore to an iPad).
Photo stream photos from the last 30 days can be accessed from an iOS device or computer that is signed into your iCloud account with my photo stream enabled.  You won't find them on icloud.com, and photo stream photos older than 30 days are no longer in iCloud.
