can any one help for xmas my aunt bought me an my bro a gift certificate from itunes we didnt have accoutns so i made 2 one for me an another for my bro it took about 30 mins for each 1 but wen id finished he happily sat and downloaded some songs! i logged on to mine and did the same a few days lata but now my bro wants a song and couldnt get into itunes to purchase it we kept trying different account names or passwords but finally sed there was no account with his information now he has lost five pounds worth of xmas money on this and can only getsongs thru mine. wot happened cos its not fair on him and i dont want to buy him songs with my money not bein spoilt or nutin but it was only a tenner lol plzzzz help cos it reli annoyed me and i wod lyk it sorted out!!! im 15 and he is 13 plz help me asap!!!!!!

It's not going to work unless you enter the user name and password that you used when you created the account. Try reading the section on that says "I forgot my account name" on this web page. Perhaps that will help.
And not to be mean, but your spelling and lack of punctuation and capitalization makes your post very difficult to read. It will help people to understand what you're saying if, the next time you post, you write a bit more clearly.

I haven't used in a little bit, I just remembered my password and now two of my accounts are gone. Is there any way to get the account and the data back. I never deleted them either.

Are they in the Deleted Users folder inside the Users folder, otherwise if you have a backup i.e Time Machine etc use that to restore the data.

If that doesn't work, contact the iTunes Store Customer Service department using the form on their Support page (select the category and subcategory closest to the issue you're reporting and you'll find an "Email Us" button) and explain your situation to them.

Need help, MMC tree got deleted, very urgent.

My sap MMC tree, got deleted in the server. I have been trying to restore since 2 days and couldnt succeed, please help me.
1) i have uncared the sapmmc.sar from   Kernal\NT\I386\MMC\sapmmc.sar file
2) i got about 7 files, in which there is one sapmmc file i have tried to double click it, n check but no go.
3) i also tried to run the Sapstartsrv.exe file and fill in up the values in pop up window. & filled up the following values :-
                    SID: DEV
                    NR: 00
                    StartProfile: (entire start profile path given)
                    user: devadm
                    passwd; (given)
- but it says "the account name is invalid or does not exist or the password is invalid for account name specified"/
- no go in both the cases.
Please need help very urgent.

Deleting an email account WITHOUT deleting emails sent to it

I haven't dared try this for awhile so forgive me (and let me know) if this has been fixed in a recent upgrade of mail.
I have several email accounts in mail. I need to keep the mail sent to one of the addresses that I no longer use (because it got too much spam). Last time I tried to delete the account, every single email ever sent to that email address was deleted as well. As they are business emails I need to keep, this is VERY problematic. My messages are all neatly filed in about 60 separate project folders within mail.
So my question is - how do I keep the mail messages but delete the account?
At the end of the day I need to be able to access the mail messages again by using some kind of search function. They don't necessarily have to stay in mail but they do need to be accessible again. Is this possible?

Deleting a POP account only deletes the messages stored in the account’s mailboxes. If you move those messages to custom “On My Mac” mailboxes or to the mailboxes of another account, you won’t lose them. It’s not that Mail goes after your mail trying to delete as much as it can. It’s just that if a mail account is deleted, then its mailboxes cannot exist anymore...
And just to be clear, it’s not just the messages in Inbox that would be deleted if you delete the account. Messages in any of the other account’s mailboxes (i.e. Drafts, Sent, Trash, Junk) would also be deleted if you don’t move them to other mailboxes as well.
Alternatively, a quick and simple procedure to create a duplicate of the account’s mailbox structure as “On My Mac” mailboxes would be importing them doing File > Import Mailboxes, choosing Mail for Mac OS X as the data format, and selecting the ~/Library/Mail/POP-username@mailserver account folder.
That said, instead of deleting the account right away, you can just disable it (i.e. turn OFF Preferences > Accounts > Advanced > Enable this account), leave it that way for some time, and delete it only after making sure you didn’t miss anything while the account was disabled.
BTW, if you back up your data, and the ~/Library/Mail folder in particular, you won’t have to worry about accidentally losing anything as a result of doing something like that...
Note: For those not familiarized with the ~/ notation, it refers to the user’s home folder. That is, ~/Library is the Library folder within the user’s home folder, i.e. /Users/username/Library.

Why does everyone else seem to get 180 days and several warning messages before THEIR accounts are deleted??

I got a text message this morning informing me that my vzw pix account had been permanently deleted due to 60 days of inactivity. So I searched online to see if there was some way to get my pictures back, since I had very little room to store them on my crap phone I deleted them once they were uploaded. I come to find out that no, there is no way to get them back and also it seems that everyone else in the whole world had 180 days and more than one text message an entire month before their account was deleted. This is ridiculous and I would have preferred that Verizon not offer any storage at all if they just delete everything you save with only one warning that you can easily forget about in a month. I also want to know why everyone else seems to get 180 days of inactivity and I get 60, and why they get multiple messages warning them when I got one.

I know pictures have great value. I'm sorry to hear your pictures were deleted. As you already know once the pictures have been deleted there is no way to retrieve them. The inactive period for "Free" Multimedia and Messaging accounts has been reduced from 180- to 60-calendar days. Previously, a customer would be sent messages at day 150, 170, and 180 letting them know that their account is inactive and subject to termination at day 180 of inactivity. Now customers receive messages at day 30, 50, and 60-calendar days of inactivity. Thank you.

The original image files are missing form your iPhoto library or iPhoto cannot find them, because the link to the originals has been broken. The image info is stored in the internal libraries, independent of the original files. That is, why you are still seeing them.
I restored the whole library from my backup.
Try restoring from an older backup, from before you first noticed the problem.
How large is the library, that you restored? Is the file size large enough to hold all your photos, or has the size been reduced? If the library is still large, the photos may still be inside, even if iPhoto cannot find them.

What happened, before your iPhoto library got deleted? Which applications have you been running, or which new software have installed or upgraded? Have you moved the library to a different disk or tried to use it from different user account or access it over the network?

After I restored my iPhone, all my apps got deleted. What now?

Earlier today, I connected my iPhone to iTunes via USB and was prompted to restore my iPhone before I could disconnect. So I proceeded and after the process was finished, I retrieved my music and photo files from the back-up. _**Now to get to my point:**_ after I restored the iPhone, all of my applications got deleted, including the one I purchased. Is there any way I can retrieve them back, or do I have to install each one manually? What about the ones I bought? Is there any way I can get those back without having to buy it again?

The backup does not include any iTunes content - music, podcasts, video, or 3rd party apps. All iTunes content including 3rd party apps should be in your iTunes library on your computer. After downloading/installing an app with your iPhone, the app should be transferred to your iTunes library on your computer the first time you sync your iPhone with iTunes after doing so.
You can re-download an app with iTunes on your computer and you won't be charged again for a purchased app as long as you use the same iTunes account to re-download the app that was used to purchase the app originally.

Your signature says you have 10.6.8 - is this correct? (It it isn't please amend it to prevent confusion).
Assuming Snow Leopard, iCloud has not been deleted - it was never there. The minimum requirement for iCloud is Lion 10.7.2 (Mountain Lion preferred): the iCloud Preference Pane does not appear on earlier systems - the MobileMe pane appears on Lion and earlier but is non non-functional - you cannot now open or access a MobileMe account.
You can set Snow Leopard up to access the email on an existing iCloud account which has been set up on a compliant device, and you may be able to sync iCal using an unsupported (and possibly unreliable) hack, but no other facilities will work. You cannot open an iCloud account on Snow Leopard.
