My Built in speaker wont work

So my Iphone 4s got a little wet then with my built in speaker i cant hear any music and music from games but i can hear it ringing when someones texting me, calling me, i have a mail and stuff buy its just with my built in speaker. Idk what to do!! Thanks in advance!

Is the silent switch on at the side? Do you have Do Not Disturb turned on?

Ipod Built In Speaker Not Working

I've been using my ipod and everything has been fine up to yesterday when the built in speaker stopped working. I can still get sound using headphones but that's it, it worked the previous night, I then charged my ipod in between and now the internal speaker doesn't work. Any suggestions?

I am assuming that you do not have a Fifth Generation iPod buy you have a Fifth Generation iPod NANO and posted in the wrong area.
Try a Reset (hold down the menu and center buttons for 6 seconds). If that does not work try restoring the Nano in iTunes. If neither works you have a hardware problem with the headphone jack and you need to get it serviced.

Ipod touch built-in speakers wont work anymore. please help

Like I said my ipod touch built in speakers wont work now yesterday I was able to hear and use them when I was using the pianist app from the itunes store and it worked fine and today I redownloaded the digidrummer lite app since my old one for some reason didnt work and once I did download the app I synced to my ipod and tried to play and noticed that no sound came out so I tried other apps and also my music and also no sound. with headphones connected it works fine sound comes out and all.

K, so last night I tried the home+sleep/wake button hold thing and reset it that way and also just normal shutoffs which didnt fix it and also tried the ideas that you guys said and no go. everynow and then it would make the sound when I unlock it. so i just left it on and let the battery die see if that would do something it got to 10% and shuts off i guess so then i charged it on my stereo system with an ipod dock and was listening to music then i disconected it and to my suprise it started playing through the internal speakers again. I was skeptical at first so I turned it off and tried again it worked. so i went to the app that I think caused the problem in the first place called digidrummer lite I was able to hear the drums tom toms etc went to the home menu tried again played that app once more but this time there was no sound. I went to my music and everynow and then it would play but fade out or not play at all. so I took digidrummer off and so far the speakers are working again but I will still need to test them more.

Built-In Speaker not working

Hi, I have a powermac g4 quicksilver and I'm a bit annoyed that the internal speaker isn't working. The cone itself works fine, as I've tested it on a g4 digital audio but when connected to the quicksilver's motherboard, nada, zilch.
The audio card itself appears to be working since I can get output from the headphone socket and the card shows up in sound preferences, but I can't get the blasted built in speaker to work, which is a shame considering it's very good.
I've checked the underside of the motherboard just in case the the solderings weren't up to scratch, but I'm not sure how it SHOULD look. Before attempting any repairs, does anyone have any possible solutions?

Since you confirmed the speaker and cable is fine and the headphone out put works the next thing to check is whether the speaker cutout circuit in the headphone jack is broken.

What happens is the jack gets damaged and the speaker return opens up. Happens all the time to the computers I take care of at a school. The kids rip out the headphones and the jack gets damaged and the sound is messed up.

IPad speaker wont work on some apps

I have an iPad 3G, the built in speaker will work on the audio, pandora, but not games. I have tried several things to correct this, Apple wants $30+ to fix. Any reason this would happen?

Have you checked that notification mute isn't on (it doesn't affect iPod or Videos apps, but will affect most games and other apps) : depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To it's either set by the switch on the right hand side or via the taskbar - more info here http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4085

Have you checked the silent switch on the side of the iphone?
Have you tried turning the volume up?
Have you tried restart?
Have you tried reset?
Have you tried restore?
Have you tried restore as new?
If all of these fail, then make an apointment at the genius bar. If your iphone is defective and is within the warranty period, then they will replace.

Have you tested if the speaker dont work in Quickweb as well? If they dont in quickweb as well...Than yes, speaker can be replaced...

In answer to your question about the service manual, there sure is, and I am happy to help you with this.
You can find it on the support page for your model, or just use this link: HP Pavilion dv6 Entertainment PC - Maintenance and Service Guide.
Within the service guide you will find the replacement instructions for the individual assemblies, and also the part numbers. I would start with just checking the connection to make sure it is good, and if there is still no sound from the speakers, you can also try this page as well, before replacing the part.

I did!! I went to Apple store, they ran diagnostics and cleaned it, all okay...got new sim card, AND still had the issue. I really didn't want to do a total restore as they suggested. It just so happened that I run the free version of Word with Friends. I was curious if some of the ads may have reckoned with it. So...I said to self, "Self, let's just delete the app." So I listened to self. And VIOLÁ!!! Problem solved!! Good luck with it...maybe if you run some "FREE" apps that run ads...could just be the issue!!

I have the New Macbook and i have used Ichat Video before but now it wont work, i get this message:this computer dose not support video conferencing

The Upload is acceptable.
iChat will fail at 50kbps (In Video chats with a message)
The Lowest Spec Apple Suggests for 1-1 Video is 100kbps
The lowest Apple Spec for 3 and 4 way Video chats is 384k but I have done passable ones at 256k.
If System Preferences > Quicktime > Streaming is left at Automatic in Leopard iChat reads this as 384k (it should be set to 1.5Mbps and iChat restarted if Changed)
Have you tested at different times ?
IS that the Best speed with the service you have ?
Is that speed near what they say they are selling you ?
The Speeds you quote should not get you the Too Slow Info message.
Is that Internet Connection shared with other computers ?
Were you doing a download ?
Both will effect the amount of the Speed (called Bandwidth) that you get.
Think of a Freeway as you enter a city in rush hour. It might be a road you can do the national speed Limit but you may not be able to go that fast due to other traffic.

Built in Camera wont work

Ive had this computer for about 6 months now and after enjoying using photo booth and a working camera for 4 months it wont work any more. Every time I open photo booth it says that the camera is either unconnected (unlikely) or its in use by another application. When i check to make sure that all other application are closed i still says the same thing. I've created new accounts on my computer to see if it will work but of course it dosen't. Is there any thing i can do to fix this? Or is it pretty much done for? Please help! thanks

You've received some good advice above. At this point, if your problem remains, you can use the suggestions in Apple's How to Troubleshoot iSight to see if the iSight itself might be the problem. If so, you will need service by an Apple professional.

Built in mic wont work with desktop version of skype

So i had skype already on the computer when i got it sense it had windows 8 well it just started to show that the skype i was using was going out of date so i decided to follow the link to download the desktop version now it wont work with my mic not sure if it a issue with microsoft end or skypes end. anyone got any ideas how to fix this problem?

My Built-In Webcam wont work

My webcam is built-in and it said i need to install webcam in my laptop. when I looked at Device Manager there was no Display area for my Webcam. But i did find Cyberlink webcam is Sound, vedio and game controllers area. My webcam won't work and i already look for online solutions and did not help either. Please help me.
