My calendar appointments show for future events, but disappear once I reach the day of the event. So I can see tomorrow's appointments now, but they will be gone tomorrow. Why is this happening? It's on my iPhone and iPad.

For what it's worth, you posted this in 2011, and here in 2014 I am still having this same issue. Over the last two days, I have had to unlock my apple account 8 times. I didn't get any new devices. I haven't initiated a password reset. I didn't forget my password. I set up two factor authentication and have been able to do the unlocking with the key and using a code sent to one of my devices.
That all works.
It's this having to unlock my account every time I go to use any of my devices. And I have many: iMac, iPad, iPad2, iPad mini, iPhone 5s, iPod touch (daughter), and my old iPhone 4 being used as an ipod touch now. They are all synced, and all was working just fine.
I have initiated an incident with Apple (again) but I know they are just going to suggest I change my Apple ID. It's a simple one, and one that I am sure others think is theirs. I don't want to change it. I shouldn't have to. Apple should be able to tell me who is trying to use it, or at least from where.

P.S. When you go to the "Info" tab of the iPhone while connected to iTunes and click on "Sync notes", it reads: "Your notes are being synced over the air. You can also choose to sync notes with this computer. This may result in duplicated data showing on your advice."
I'm confused why everything else syncs via USB except Notes. Why "over the air", which appears to be unreliable? And I don't want duplicate notes. Any advice how to fix this would be great. I take notes all the time on both devices, and have been caught unprepared in the past while out in the field without a note I took on the iMac and that I needed, say, to get where I was going. Really would like to get this resolved so I don't have to think about it anymore. Thanks again for any input!

I would suggest that u get the cellular wifi model because it has a built in gps when there is no cellular coverage the gps will still work as it gets it signal directly off the satellite when ur tethering your phone to your iPad on the wifi model only I'm not too sure if it will work if u have no cellular coverage someone may more info on this subject.

An iPod classic can generally play video files up to 640 by 480 pixels. The iPod's screen is actually 320x240 pixels, but it will play 640x480 videos (that are in a compatible format).
However, "HD" (high def) videos are at a higher resolution than 640x480. Apple often provides both the HD and SD (standard def) versions of the video, when you download it. The SD version should work with iPod classic. If a video is in HD only, it won't play on iPod so you can't sync it to iPod.
There is a command in iTunes to convert the video. Select video on the iTunes library list. Go up to Menu Bar. Under Advanced, select Create iPod or iPhone Version. After converting completes (which can take some time), try syncing that version to your iPod. NOTE: Some videos in iTunes may not allow conversion due to copy protection (DRM).

Rating now different in Lr6 Survey Mode. Why is this happening?

After updating to LrCC / Lr6 I'm unable to rate images like I could before.
In Lr5 my cull method was to pull ~10 images together in survey mode (N) and give each image either 1 star for 'reject' or 2 stars for 'keep'. With capslock on every time I give an image a rating it automatically advances to the next image. It was a FAST system for me. Now in Lr6 I give one image a rating and ALL the images in that group get the same rating. NOT useful. Any ideas on why that's happening now?

Stealth can cause problems. These alerts may be normal, and would otherwise be no problem, except that you're running stealth. You will block/log many things that most networks just need to do.

All I had to do was complain. I synced my iPhone to the Windows machine, checked the other account at iTunes prompting (where no apps had shown up previously), reconnected the iPad, and 140 apps downloaded including the App Store. I have no idea why.

Why does video via home sharing on my iPhone and iPad keep pausing?

Ok, getting pretty frustrated with this. Everytime my wife or I try to watch movies on our iPhone or iPad with home sharing, the video keeps pausing. At first it seems to do it every five minutes or so, then gets to the point where as soon as you press the play button again, it pauses. Tried searching for the problem, but didn't find anything. We're not losing wifi connection, so I don't know what's going on.

I have this issue as well... It's extremely frustrating. Especially since no one seems to know how to fix it.
From what I can tell, the video isn't streaming to the iDevice quickly enough, so it keeps pausing. My setup at home is all my iTunes library is on a separate HDD connected to my mac via USB and streamed to my iPad via our WiFi. I don't know if travelling through so many devices would slow it down enough to cause it to keep pausing, especially with HD movies. The funny thing is, it works fine between my iMac and my MacBook, so it's the iPad/iPhone that's to blame.
All I can suggest is what I've been doing, which is by no means a solid solution since it sometimes helps the issue and sometimes makes no difference. I restart my iPad/iPhone and I restart iTunes and keep network traffic to a minimum. I've also converted allot of my movies and TV shows to a lower bitrate in the hope that they will play smoother, at a sacrifice of image quality...
To be honest, what I tend to do at the moment is just sync a movie to my iPad when I'm near the computer then, when I'm done, delete it to save space.
I'm afraid that's all I can do to help... I really hope iOS 5 does something to fix this issue since I use home sharing allot and I hate it when it decides not to work.

After upgrading to iOS5 and all the iCloud things, my iCal is not syncing with my iPhone or my iPad. I've tried all the setting, but cannot figure out what I'm doing or not doing that it won't sync. I checked the Cloud and the calendar is there. Can anyone help?

I had this problem, too. To reiterate, events on the iPad and iCloud were loading down into iCal on my Macbook Pro, but events I put on my MacBook Pro were not migrating back.
It comes down to which calendar the event is listed under. In iCal (right now) your default calendars are all local. If you change the event to an iCloud calendar, the migration is seamless. So, when you create an event, just scroll down in calendars, pick the iCloud equivalent to the "On my Mac" calendars (they're mirrored/duplicated) and it all works just fine.
