My calendar in icloud has not worked since daylight saving time

Ever since daylight savings time my icloud calendar and my iphone and ical are all messed up.  when i put something in icloud it sincs to my phone as one hour later than it is supposed to be and coming from ical it is not sincing properly to the cloud. 

I actually just solved this issue on my ICloud Calendar on my PC  It was an hour ahead since 3/10/13 due to daylight savings time.  My Iphone was fine. 
On the ICloud Calendar click on your name.  The time zone shows up.  In my case it said Central Standard Time so I thought it was okay.  However if you click on the Time Zone a map comes up showing the time zone.  It will indicate was city in the time zone you are using.  Mine had a city in Guatemala.  When I switched it to the closest city to me, it solved the problem.

    It woke me up 1 hour before the set alarm time, e.g. 5.55am instead 6.55am
    The one off alarm works fine.

  • Full-Text Search has not worked since we upgraded to 2012

    I have a filestream database and table. Our full-text searches have always worked until we upgraded to SQL 2012 in December.  Now, no file that has been uploaded since December is searchable.  What has gone wrong here.  It should have been
    a clean upgrade.  We are not getting any error messages.  We are just not getting any records returned when we search on a word that we know are in the documents we've uploaded since December (for instance, the word 'aluminum'). 
    Filestream is enabled for the instance.
    A full-text catalog exists and contains a full-text index (the same one we've always had).  Full-text indexing is ENABLED.
    I've tried rebuilding the catalog and the index.  I've tried to do a FULL POPULATION on the table.
    We haven't changed our queries nor the way the files are uploaded.
    Nothing works.  I have been a database administrator since the SQL 2005 days and I have never seen anything like this.

    According to your description, in theory , if you can do a full-text search for SQL Server 2008, when upgrading the SQL Server version from 2008 to 2012, the Full text indexing feature should be run well in SQL Server 2012 databases. If not , you can try
    to restore your database from SQL Server 2008 to SQL Server 2012, create an new Full-Text Catalog and Index on the table or view in the database, and then use Full Text Index to search words, phrases and multiple forms of word or phrase via FREETEXT() and
    CANTAINS() with “and” or “or” operators.  check if it is normal that the full-text search feature is enabled in the SQL Server 2012 instance. For more information , see:

    Note:  In SQL Server 2012 SP1 ， the server will report that Full Text Search is not supported in this edition of SQL Server when it clearly is. The workaround is to create the initial catalog by using a T-SQL query:

  • FaceTime is not working since the last time I've disconnected it...

    Since the last time I've disconnected it, Facetime is not working. At first, I thought it was working with no problems. Then, I realize that I could not make or receive calls, and then I disconnected. Now, I can't connect it. There's a message saying to me try later, but this message has been appearing since last month. I'm sure that this problem is not with my internet conection, because I've tried another conections, and FaceTime still not working, and it is not with my ID Apple either because I could connect it normally in iPod' Facetime and I've tried other account in Mac' FaceTime. What should I do?

    SAME as I stated 3 weeks ago I've update to 6.1 IOS onto Iphone 4s it wiped out Wifi & Bluetooth grey out issue
    and did all the steps didn't help ,so had to go to Apple store & see if they could do anything ,they stated that if it work for them get a new 1 free ,but if can't be done PAY for REPLACEMENT .It turns out warranty lapsed,said ok 
    which I paid .Now this update to 6.1.1 shows up on my update hate to proceed the update . Which will be ROUND 2 all over again .

  • IChat worked great under 10.4.6, has not worked since 10.4.7

    We use IChat to video conference between offices(in different cities.) We have VPN and our connectivity at both ends is T3 supplied by the same vendor. We have a server which supplies DHCP to the network.
    Before 10.4.7 it all worked great, simple and easy. Since the update we can see each other, text each other and invite each other to video chats, but every time the invitation hangs with the "error -8" so many people are complaining about.
    I checked the forums for things to do.
    Checked for any ports blocked at the ISP end, Tried port 443 instead of 1080, tried with Firewall on or off etc etc. Thus far nothing has worked and I have spent SO much time on this with no result.
    It all leads me to these questions:
    1. why am I forced to spend so much time trying to make this work, when it was working fine before and the only change we made was updating OSX to 10.4.7?
    2. How can Apple expect people to have to change things like port settings on a product which was widely touted as simple to use?
    3. How could we have gone through several updates since 10.4.7 without this clearly widespread issue not being resolved?
    I am a lifetime mac user, and though there have been occasional let downs, I am a generally a very happy mac user.
    I must say I have never been left out to dry like this. I advised my company to use Ichat for video coferencing, and now I have egg on my face, and Apple does not seem to be even taking responsibility for this.

    Sometimes when expiriencing trouble after an update this is a way that often fixes these issues:
    Common workarounds after system updates.
    Apply the Mac OS X 10.4.8 combo updater Once again, re-application of the current combination updater (Mac OS X 10.4.8 for PowerPC or Intel) has proven useful in the case of Security Update 2006-008. Doing so overwrites potentially problem-causing files.
    Apply the Mac OS X 10.4.8 combo updater from an alternate startup volume Failing the above, a more involved process that requires applying the combo updater from a separate startup drive can clear various issues.

  • Time Machine has not worked since upgrade to Lion

    Hello,
    I've noticed that my Mac Mini's Time Machine will no longer perform a backup - I keep receiving a "could not create the backup folder" error message. This problem only started after I upgraded my Mac Mini (2010 Model) to Lion, Time Machine had worked perfectly when I use to use Snow Leopard. I have both formatted and partitioned my Time Machine drives (the first drive was a Seagate Barracuda 7,200 RPM 1TB drive, the 2nd drive is a 2TB Porsche Drive I bought at my local Apple Store). Both drives, when I was partitioning them, were set to use the GUID Partition Scheme. The Seagate Drive is an Internal Hard Drive that is sitting in a ThermalTake 2-Bay Drive Dock which is connected by a USB Cord, the Porsche drive is an External Drive that is connected via a USB cord. I have also tried unmounting/remounting each drive, deleting the Time Machine "plist" file from my Library folder and restarting, and finally re-installing Lion from the recovery drive I made using the instructions on support.apple.com. Unfortunately, nothing I've done so far has solved the issue.
    I checked my Console log for Time Machine and this is what I found:

  • HT204407 Find my friends notify me has not worked since the ios7 update. Help

    Ever since the update to ios7y find my friends app never notifies me when one of my contacts arrives or leaves
    I've reinstalled it.  I've kept it running in the background etc
    Not liking the new update at all. But would like up know how to fix the notify function on this app

    I finally got this to work. Here's my procedure (and it's not ideal).
    On all phones, background run must be ON for FMF.
    On my phone:
    Delete app
    Reboot phone
    On my wife's phone (yeah, this is why it's not ideal):
    Delete app
    Reboot phone
    Reinstall app on both phones
    Sign in on both.
    Setup geofence via Notify Me when (wife) leaves home on my phone
    Setup geofence via Notify Me when (husband) leaves home on her phone
    Et voila.
    Notifications started working again.
    So, it's not ideal because it requires your target to delete, reboot and reinstall/signin for this fix to work. That said, if you're using it to track your kids when they're out on dates or whatever, you should have access to use this workaround.

  • I cannot print wirelessly to an Epson 810 from a MacBook Pro (2010). Stopped working with version 4 and has not worked since. Prints fine to Safari, Chrome, and all other programs. Resetting didn't help.

    Believe the first one.  No one RAM test will reliably indicate RAM is bad.   Once indicated, it has to be replaced.
    You have to get RAM made for the mid 2012 13" MacBook Pro.    Just because it says it 4GB of 1600MHz DDR3 memory does not mean it is compatible with your Mac.  You have to buy RAM for Macs with lifetime warranty, that is not ValueRAM, and says the model and its time frame within the year that it was released, and its model number when buying RAM.  Both http://www.macsales.com/ (OWC) and http://www.crucial.com/ sell RAM in that means of attributing what kind of RAM it is.
    I ran an internet-based free diagnostic tool and it showed that my hard drive did have bad parts (corrupted? possible to fix or not?) and it was acting irregularly...
    What tool?  Some are known to damage software components of drives.  Especially any that address system cache.
