Close the Calendar app on the Task Bar and re-launch.
1. Double-click the Home button to reveal Task Bar
2. Hold the Calendar app down for a second or two until you see the minus sign
3. Tap the minus sign to close app
4. Tap area above Task Bar to return to Home screen

Updated the software on my iphone 4 last night and now none of my purchased apps will open. They start to and then immeadiately close.
Try restoring from a backup. Connect the iPhone to your computer, launch iTunes. Right or control click the iPhone under Devices in the source list then click: Restore from Backup.

After uploading new iOS 6 my iPad 2 randomly quits apps in the middle of using them and sometimes won't even open apps. What can I do to fix this?

ITunes tries to start up and then "unexpectedly quits" before it opens
This just started happening out of the blue. I tried to open iTunes and it looks like it's starting up and then tells me it has unexpectedly quit and I get the following report:

When you double click the home button. You see the App Icon below and an open view of the app page above. Swipe the open view page upwards and the app closes.

Hello. I am trying to change the colors on my ical. I have been able to select a calendar group, click "get info" and then "other" in the color options and which point a a lot of color options are available. HOWEVER, I can't seem to select the color. I click on a new color and press enter and nothing happens...not sure what I am doing wrong.

when i open itunes its normal and then out of nowhere it says "itunes has stopped working" and i have to click 'close program'. help?
Having the same issue here....a quick fix is to just minimize the window, and immediately maximize it. It will now fit the screen. Trouble is, after you close it, you'll have to do it again when you re-start itunes. The good news is it takes all of about 2 seconds. Apple should fix this. Should.

But I receive the following error:
Add new item to the Calendar failed. Column 'Start time' does not exist. It may have been deleted by another user.
I've checked and 'Start time' does exist. So it seems in SharePoint Calendar lists, field [Start Time] and [End Time] exist but do not exist at the Site Column level.

Use “EventDate” for Start Time field, and “EndDate” for End Time field. They are the internal name of the two fields, you can check it in the column settings page url like “Field=EndDate”.
If it isn’t the issue, please debug the code, in which line the error occurs.

I just recently up graded from AI CS6 to AI CC and I am having issues with my pen tool. If I create a starting point and then make another point it does not allow me to make the second point an end point. The pen tool stays active and I either have to click to isolate the path or I have to return to the first point and close the path. Please help.

If you cannot close the Pen Tool by switching to another tool, as a temporary measure you may try pressing P (for Pen).
To solve it, you may try the list.
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
If possible/applicable, you should save curent artwork first, of course.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

It opens for a sec and then closes. any ideasFirst try to reset your device by holding the home and power button for about 30 seconds until you see a silver apple, after that let go of the buttons and let your device start up normally. This will not remove any settings or information from your device.

I am trying to download iTunes on my new desktop computer (Windows 7, 64 bit). It starts installing, and then stops with the message- "The System Administrator has set policies to prevent this installation." This is a stand alone computer and I am the sole user. Please help.

APPS ON THE iPAD MINI BRIEFLY APPEAR TO OPEN AND THEN IMMEDIATELY CLOSE. already TRIED REBOOT BUT SAME ISSUE.
Have you tried a reset? Hold down Home and On/Off buttons, ignoring slider until you see the Apple logo. Then release the buttons. The device will reset--you will lose no data. Please don't shout--using all caps is not only rude but it is hard to read.

When I try to open Adobe Reader, it just opens a gray page and then closes by itself. This also applies to any pdf files I try to access; they'd all follow the same pattern: Gray page-->automatically closes after 2 to 3 seconds time. I have tried accessing the Eula.exe via C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader, however, the only available button for me to click is the "Decline" button and not the "Accept" license agreement. Please help!
