My calendars are not synching through iCloud

Big frustration: For some reason I can't fathom my iPhone, iPad and Mac are no longer synching when I update a calendar on one of the devices. I've gone into preferences and turned on and off the calendar, deleted the iCloud account and reinstalled, and still nothing. Why is this happening suddenly and what is the best long-term fix. I'm highly dependant on my devices keeping up with my life. Thank you.

We need more info. Are you saying you've lost all calendar info on all devices, or are the events you had still there, but the problem is with NEW events added on one device not showing up on the others?
Are you having similar problems with the other databases, like contacts and notes?
To check whether a new event from one device is even making it to icloud, log into icloud.com with a computer's browser and look at the calender there. If the event does not show up, then the device is not sending the data to icloud. If the event is there, then icloud is not able to send the data to the other device(s).

This is weird, i am not good at open inquiry.. but think something simple is not set. I did have synching initially when accepted icloud synch, instead of direct connect of iphone and PC. Something has changed on Calendars and thus appts are not synching. HELP!

If new events added to your phone are not appearing on your calendar on icloud.com, one thing to check on your phone is Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Calendar. This should be set to your iCloud calendar. Then add a new event on your iPhone calendar and see if it syncs to icloud.com properly.
If your settings are correct and new events on your phone are still not syncing to your calendar on icloud.com, add any missing events on your iPhone to your calendar on icloud.com. Once the calendar on icloud.com is up to date, go to Settings>iCloud, turn Calendars to Off, choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted (your calendar will still be in iCloud), then after a minute or so, turn Calendars back to On. Then add a new event to your phone and see if it syncs to icloud.com now.

Music and photos are not synching through icloud

Just purchased an I-phone 6. My 4s was backed up to icloud. After restoring using icloud only about 20% of my music and 50% of my photos were transferred. Am I not doing something?

Calendar events on my iPhone are not synching to iCloud. iOS latest, Calendar 6.0

I can't get my iPhone calendar to update events to or from iCloud. I've tried event setting I can find. I've set the Calendar 6.0 programe on my MacBook and it works fine with iCloud and I can see my MacBook events on www.icloud.com. But events on the iPhone are not there and vice versa. What could I possible have missed?
I've read a lot of disscusion, didn't understand most of it. I'm at wits end.

On the device, go to settings>icloud and look to be sure it is logged into the right account and be sure the Calendar sync is turned on.
Is the device syncing with icloud with any of the other services, like contacts?

TS3999 ihave done all of this and still my events put on my outlook calendar do not synch to icloud or iphone or vice versa. contacts synch fine.

i have worked through all of the support suggested items and i cannot get evnets that are put on my Outlook calendar to go to my icloud calendar and therefore my ipad and iphone or vice versa with events put on my iOS devices. i want my staff to enter events in my outlook calendar that appear on my iPhone 5. running outlook 10 and windows 7.

Ok, new info. This gets better and better.
In OL2010, the Calendar in the navigation pane had no arrow indicating it had subcalendars within it. I right clicked on Calendar and chose New Calendar. It gave me a list of the existing calendars that were missing !!
When I cancelled, there was an expand arrow next to Calendar in the Navigation pane !!!!!
Expanding it showed the unchecked missing calendars. I checked them and synched again.
WRONG THING TO DO! ALL my wife's calendar entries in her iPhone since the laptop went down 3 weeks ago DISAPPEARED. No warnings, nothing at any step of this process. The OL files overwrote the iPhone data.
I can't find any way to get them back as this **** iStuff relies on iTunes for everything.
Is there any way to get her files back from before this synch?
Is there no way to save data files off the iPhone w/o iTunes?
Why doesn't iTunes let you control the direction of data transfer?
I now have one very ****** off wife.

I use some other calendars (birthday, holidays, etc.) which are shown on my iPhone, but I can not see in iCloud Calendar. Do someone know what is the problem? Thanks!

My mac contacts are not updating through icloud?

I am puting new conacts on my phone and ipad but they are not being updated through to my mac any ideas?

Please try the following…
    1.    First check that all your settings are correct, that contact syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
    2.    Make sure the contacts you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' group and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud group (you can do this by checking in groups), non iCloud contacts will not sync.
    3.    If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your contacts are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking contact syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling contact syncing.

How to insure that contacts and calendar are NOT synced with ICloud?

I do not understand, why it is not possible anymore to sync your contacts and calendar data between your mac book and your mobile devices using USB cable.
I also heard that with Maverick and Itunes 11.1.2 you can not sync anything using USB anymore, is that true?
Why is it not possible to let the customer decide how to sync their data? Why not leaving both options?
In case it is true that with Maverick and Itunes 11.1.2 you are not able to sync using USB anymore, does anybody know a good app to sync your photos and address data between your computer and mobile devices?
How can I insure that my contacts and calendar data are NOT automatically synced with ICloud?
Yesterday I synced some Photos from my macbook to my IPad and wondered why I had the photos twice. I realized that my IPad had ICloud enabled, after disabling ICloud one picture folder (Photostream) was gone. What do do to avoid that my MacBook is sending Photos to ICloud?
However, when I opened ICloud today, I did not find photos, but I found some address data from my MacBook in the Cloud.
I do not want to have my contacts and calendar data anywhere else on a server.
Any help would be appreciated.

Connect your phone to your computer using the USB power cable that you charge your phone with.
Launch iTunes, it will go thru the normal sync back up progress bar thing at the top, let it finish.
Then
double click on the phone in the left side bar then click INFO at the top of that pane, it will allow you select what you want to sync (contacts,calendar,etc) make your selections and click apply, then click sync. There buttons along the top for different functions (Movies, Apps, etc) just make sure that you do not have anything checked (like your whole music library) that will not fit on the phone.

Subscribed calendars are not appearing in iCloud.

I subscribe to my wife's calendar and it appears fine in iCal on my iPhone 3gs and iPad2, both running ios5, as well as my MacBook. It does not show up in iCloud calendar. Is this really not supported?

If they are appearing on all those devices then it sounds like they are in iCloud. Perhaps because it is on her iCloud and not yours that is why it is not appearing on the web-based iCloud. Can you open the web-based iCloud calender and add her subscription? Or, ask her unshare, then reshare her calendar. That seems to help alot of problems here at the start of iCloud.

Suddenly my calendars are not synching

I have been synching my calendar in my itouch and my calendar in outlook 7 on my PC, using itunes. suddenly, for no apparent reason, the two calendars stopped synching. everything else, including my contacts and music continues to synch.

I've been able to synch outlook calendar and contacts until the last few days (or maybe weeks). So, what has happened?

Calendar entires labeled "Send Using Facebook" are not synching with Outtook

Some of the calendar entries that appear on my Blackberry are not synching to Outlook. Oddly, most of these were calendar entries created in Blackberry. When I click on these entries on my BlackBerry the top box says "Send Using:" and "Facebook" is selected. I have never created these calendar entries through Facebook.
Any help would be much appreciated!

Setting up the Default calendar
For each email account added to the BlackBerry smartphone, there is a corresponding calendar created to help you organize your appointments. For example, you can have one for your work appointments and reminders, and another for your personal activities. However, you can set up a ‘default’ calendar as the one that is automatically viewed when you first click on the calendar application.
The first step is picking which account you want to use as your default:

Thanks, but I've been on the phone with AppleCare US (where I am and live) and AppleCare UK. They continue bouncing me back and forth without helping resolve the problem.
Perhaps someones knows how to further escalate the issue at Apple?

Open iTunes
From the File menu, choose one of the following choices:
MacAdd to Library
Windows
Add File to Library
Add Folder to Library
Navigate to and select the file or folder that you want to add
If iTunes is set to "Copy files to the iTunes Music folder when adding to library," iTunes will copy all content that is added to the iTunes library to the iTunes Music folder. To adjust this setting or change the location of this folder, go to the Advanced tab in iTunes Preferences.
Once that's done, you can sync the music to your iPad by following this article:

HT4489 Ever since the last update IOS5.1.1, calendar entries are not saved on Icloud, and would not sync on all I clould devices

After the last update of IOS5.1.1, all caledar entries are not saved on Icloud and thus not synced on all my Icloud devices, even though, spreadsheets are synced, photostream is working and contacts is syncing, only calendar items. Anybody has the same problem? Or a solution to this kind or problem?

Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
