Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
    1.    Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
    2.    Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
    3.    Restart your router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
    4.    Reset the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings)

Sorry that my guess about what you are using was wrong. How about telling us exactly what you installed to provide that '''auto translate''' feature in Firefox?
If you don't know, give us a list of the extensions that you ''do'' have installed so that we don't have to wildly guess or so we can do an '''''educated guess''''' as to which one isn't working.

Did you remove Quicktime X?
On a normal install Quicktime 7 is installed in the Utilities folder and Quicktime Pro in the main Applications folder.
You will need to reinstall OS X to get Quicktime X back if you have deleted it.
I notice yor profile says 10.5.8. Quicktime X is only available on 10.6 and above.

Hold the power key till it shuts down, it may take a little while, try holding it thru the warning.
Then if it shuts down restart and open Safari/Preferences, General tab, and set "Save Downloaded Files to:"
Select desktop, if desktop is not available in the the drop down menu, click other, then select Desktop from the column from the on the left.

This will download the "stand alone installer"
Click on the installer pkg and follow the prompts.

Unfortunately I tried that and it didn't work. Thanks for the help though. I tried to uninstall and it said I couldn't because the file is corrupt or something, but I think I finally got it uninstalled and/or deleted or whatever, but now I try to reinstall/download it again from the beginning and I can't. No matter what I do I can not get Firefox working again. No matter how many times I try to redownload it. Any other suggestions?

SM30 Wrong Data retention on screen

I have a requirement as follows :
Create a table maintenance for a table with material number and plant as primary key.Then while maintaining the values
I have to check if that matnr+werks is present in MARC table . If say 10 material plant are entered in the table maintenance (1 screen) and 5 are invalid combination , then 5 should be saved in the table and rest 5 should remain on the SM30 2nd screen as it is with no saving .
I have validated the data from MARC by using table maintenance events and only the required records are added in the table but the ones which are not correct do no re-appear on the 2nd screen of SM30 because of which the user has to re-enter all the data instead of just rectifying the wrong data.
Please suggest some idea asap

Path of the wallpaper on the screen, why?

I am meeting a strange problem: I have probably activated a keyboard shortcut that I ignore and OSX (Mavericks) now prints the full path of my wallpaper file in the middle of the screen. I have checked the Desktop setting item, but have not been able to locate a checkbox controlling this property. I have also tried to change the wallpaper, but the path of that file is also printed, so I am convinced that I have activated a system "feature" without being aware of it. SInce the words I can use to describe the problem are quite generic, Google is not really my friend in this case...
Could you please help me to get rid of this spurious information on my screen? Thank you very much in advance.

I have been able to locate the solution using a more incermental Google search. It was given in the following page:

and it was enough to execute the following command in the terminal:
defaults delete com.apple.dock desktop-picture-show-debug-text;killall Dock
But I continue to ignore how I have been able to activate this setting using a strange keyboard shortcut (I assure you that I have not executed this command twith a True value) without being aware of it ;-) ).
There is probably a debug shortcut somewhere...

Centering a page on the screen, why's it not working??

I'm trying to centre my whole site so that it appears in the centre of the screen, no matter what size of screen it's being viewed on.
I've had a look at other messages about this, and thought I'd done what they said but it's not working.
I'm using Dreamweaver, and in the CSS rule definition for the DIV tag called #ContainerArea I've set Type = absolute, Height = Auto, Left & Right Placements = auto and Top & Bottom Placements = 0
When I also change the text alignment to centre, this then centres all the text within the 'container area' but the actual area itself is still left aligned on my screen.
It's not live, still just on my hard drive, so I can't include any links.
Can anyone help - please?

There is a big looking streak in the middle of the screen why?

ok so i just got my imac 21.5 i3 like a week ago and today i decided to clean the screen when i notice this big looking streak right in the middle of the monitor and say i wipe it with a free lint cleaning cloth the iklear provided and it goes away but then seconds it just comes back why can some please? is this normal ?what gives and what should i do thanks ?

Depends where you got it, if you purchased it at an Apple store call up and make an appointment to save dragging it around, if online contact support, if another outlet take it straight back.

After installing 3.6, Firefox's screen image is drasticallay rreduced, how do I get bact the screen image size that I had with previous Firefox?

I installed Firefox 3.6 and when I restarted the program the display image size was approximately 2/3 the size of the image provided by the previous version of Firefox.I had to zoom-in 5 times before I could read the text. How can I recover the screen settings that I had with the previous version of Firefox or how can I set new defults for screen image size under Firefox 3.6?
