My Camera isn't Showing Up!
I just installed Final Cut and when I enter it doesn't read my camera which is plugged in, on, and on playback mode. It finds it in iMovie but if I go into "Capture" it just quits immediately. It doesn't find it when I open the application either. It's very annoying because this restricts from doing just about anything! Please help.

Built in iSight camera no longer showing up or recognized by iMac
Hello there - I have a white 1.83 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo iMac with a built in iSight camera, and the camera is no longer showing up, or is not recognized by the computer any longer. Very strange! The little green LED by the camera is not lit any longer, and the camera is not recognized any longer by Photo Booth, iChat AV, or any of the other apps that would use the camera. This is a real pain, because I am leaving for France in a couple days and am taking my MacBook Pro with me, and am hoping that I can use iChat AV to talk to my kids at home on the iMac. I do have an extra iSight camera that I have hooked up to the iMac and can use in a pinch, but I really want to use the built in camera on the iMac. Any hints / ideas / suggestions on what to do for this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
No, unfortunately that did not help. I did the following...
1. See if the issue is application-specific. - Nope. Camera is not recognized in any of the apps that it should be recognized in, I tested iChat AV, PhotoBooth, ImageCapture, and iMovie.
2. See if the issue is user-specific. - There's only one user account on this Mac, so I couldn't do that.
3. Find out if the computer recognizes the iSight. I went into System Profiler and checked the USB profiler, and the camera does not show up.
4. Reset SMC or PMU. These just looked like different ways of restarting, which I did multiple times.
I have also run my Software Updates (on OS 10.5, which I did with a clean install from an OS 10.5 DVD by the way) and still no camera. This problem started happening with the original OS 10.4 (which it came with) and I was hoping a clean install of the OS would help, but no.
I'm wondering if resetting the PRAM might help, but I can't remember those keys you hold down while restarting (was it Apple-Option-P-R ?) or if that is just reaching waaaaay back to the pre OSX days.
Here's the kicker though - if I plug in a FireWire iSight camera, all is well. I'm really hoping that the camera isn't jsut dead, but it's starting to look that way. Would Disk First Aid or maybe DiskWarrior help? -
How can I get the picture to show in Photoshop CS3? The thumbnail image appears in the right side panel but the full image isn't showing at all.
What specific information would you need? The program was working just fine early yesterday morning and than when I came back in the afternoon to edit some more pictures that is when I wasn't able to see the full image anymore. It is providing me with all of the editing options as if the picture is there but it is just a blank screen with the thumbnail pic showing in the right panel.

I have tried everything apart from a complete restore. PLEASE HELP!Try:

This is what customer support instructed me to do for my iMac:
Rest 1.
Shut down computer and unplug power; wait 15 secs.
Turn on computer.
Shut down computer.
Reset 2.
Turn on computer.
Before gray screen comes up, so almost immediately, press Option-Command-P-R at the same time.
Hold down until you hear the turn-on noise, let go and let the system start up.
This fixed my camera problem. -

I am trying to fill in a PDF form online- there should be a submit button but it isn't showing. My partner has an identical Mac and can see the button when he opens the same page- what do I change in my systen system preferences to resolve this?
You and your partner might have different browsers, different versions of the same browser, or most likely a fervent version of the PDF plug-in.
See if just clicking on the Enter key sends the form in. -
my iPod nano g7 isn't showing up on iTunes although i plug it in. it shows on the computer but not on iTunes. also it won't sync , accept new songs and doesn't put on podcasts. it is new, i got it for christmas. PLEASE HELP

Hey, i've tried connecting my ipod to my laptop itunes and it's not working. My laptop shows it's connected but itunes isn't showing it's there. i've tired reinstalling, taking itunes off rebooting the laptop and putting it back on. I don't know how to get it working. Plus on top i restarted my ipod and the choice between wifi and connecting to itunes i'm choosing itunes but it's still not showing up. I can use the help for the Windows 7 and ipod touch. I registered my new iPhone 5s to my usual Apple ID, however it isn't showing in my devices when I log in. I tried to register it by adding a new device, but it tells me it's already registered to a different Apple ID. I'm really not sure how to fix this. I only have the one Apple ID and the phone is brand new, purchased directly from Apple.
When I check on the phone itself (iCloud and App Store settings) the Apple ID is correct. I'm not sure where else to check.
Whilst setting up the phone, it prompted me to register, which I did. Then when connecting to my laptop through iTunes it prompted me again so I registered again. I even got a confirmation email to the email address associated with my Apple ID that the registration was successful.
How can I add my iPhone 5s to the list of devices on the correct Apple ID?

Updated OS & now Time Capsule icon isn't showing up on desktop
Just finally upgraded to 10.5. Now my Time Capsule icon isn't showing up on my desktop. Light is green on TC and I can navigate to it through Macintosh HD folder, then shared devices. I just used it as an additional external hard drive at this point. How do I get the icon to reappear. I already updated Airport too.

Presuming you mean the volume of the Time Capsule's internal disk, mount that, open the Accounts panel of System Preferences, authenticate by clicking on the lock if it's "closed", select your account, select the "Login Items" tab, then drag the icon of that drive to the login items list.
Note that this will cause a window of that drive to appear each time you log in. If you search these discussions, you may find some older threads that discuss ways around that. -

My LAN connection isn't showing up!
MY ethernet port isn't showing up on my device manager. there is a jack on the back and it does light up when I put in a network cable but nothing else happens. Right now I'm using my wireless card and thats the only thing that shows up under network adapters.
So does anyone know how I get my ethernet port to show up?
