My Camera will not work!

My Ipod Touch was working perfect last night then this morning I turned it on and went to take a photo and the camera will not turn on and the little photo button to take a picture won't work it's all black, both front and back camera will not work! Does anyone know how to fix this? or is it even fixable? or even know how much it would cost to get Apple to fix this? Im so confused any info would be great!

I have purchased an iPad camera connection kit and when I attach my Canon Rebel XT I get a message that camera will not work.

In the title, I have this kit and it will allow me to connect my camera to the iPad (and my iPod) but gives me a message that this model camera (?) will not work with either. The camera is a Canon EOS Rebel XT and about 5 years old. I had an earlier connection kit that worked with a Canon (don't know the model) earlier but now I have no function with this equipment. Any suggestions?

With a Rebel XT / 350D you need to enable PTP (Picture Transfer Protocol) on it in its settings :

Ipad will not turn off, sound button does not work, camera does not work, screen will not rotate. Have new ios and update.

I am going to assume, that even though you mentioned the MacBook Air, that this question does pertain to the iPad because you posted in the iPad forum.
Quit the camera app, FaceTime and PhotoBooth completely and restart the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Or .... Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Web Cam will not work

I recovered and reinstalled all software but the Webcam will not operate.
There is not Camera listed in the Imaging devices
but under sound, video and gaming there is the Cyberlink webcam virtual driver listed.
I did a hard reset by removing the battery and holding down the power button and had it check for new hardware but nothing was found.
The Cyberlink YouCam SW states that no webcam detected.

This sounds like the webcam is dead or now working anymore...install skype and test that will tell you if it detect the webcam or not.

After updating software to 8.2 on iPhone 6 both cameras will not work. Black screen.

I updated my iPhone 6's software to 8.2 and now when I want to take a picture the screen is black. If I try to activate the front camera it is also black. Sometimes it will work ok, however, most of the time it doesn't. I have also tried tapping the button to take a picture and the a preview comes up.... what?! Then I click retake and the camera will work. But I have to go through this whole process every time I want to send a picture. This must be a bug, Apple, please help! =(

Try resetting your iPhone.

Hey I was wondering why my front facing camera will not work, on snapchat it doesn't even give me the option to switch to my front camera anymore, when I go to my camera and switch to my front facing one it just stays black I don't understand it I need it

My camera will not work with Photo booth or any other camera application.

I have an iMac Intel 21.5".
Camera has always worked just fine.
Suddenly it has stopped.
The green light right next to the camera is on, but nothing is displayed on the screen (photo booth).
No error message is displayed either.
I have already tried the reset function (turn off, remove all cables and power cable for 10 sec, and turn it back on) but it hasn't worked.
Any thoughts?

Built-in iSight cameras
These steps are for iSight cameras that are built into a computer, such as the iMac G5 (iSight) or later, the MacBook, or MacBook Pro.
1. See if the issue is application-specific.
Try another application (iSight works with applications like iChat, PhotoBooth, and iMovie HD 6) to see if the iSight camera exhibits the same behavior in all applications. If it only happens in one application, try reinstalling that application.
2. See if the issue is user-specific.
Test your iSight camera in another user account. If the issue only occurs in one user, the issue would be isolated to user settings.
3. Find out if the computer recognizes the iSight
Check System Profiler (in the Utilities folder, inside the Applications folder). Under the USB header, check to see if the iSight camera is detected.
4. Reset SMC or PMU

Ok did you shut your phone down prior to removing the Card. And removing the card isn't really necessary all that you'd have to do is Tap your settings go to Storage >> then go to Un-mount Card>> Un-mount it and then Remount it that can sometime stir or Refresh the Card with out loosing your Pictures or Data Now since you took the Card out of the phone Go ahead and re-insert it !!! if the phone is ON Shut it OFF and re-insert the Card as i explained once that is done Turn the phone on & let if fully power up and go threw it's sequences.. Then go to your Picture Gallery and see if they'er there... Let me know what ya Find..
