My Canon MX860 stop to do anything. It start and after a wile there is a noise like stripping gears. Error message 5C20 appear. I work with five Canons because they are the best. I produce DVD's and CD's from old non digital stuff. Please help to restore this old faithful

Then it should still be under warranty, so make an appointment at your local apple store and have them take a look at it.
If that's not a possibility and you want to troubleshoot, what do you mean by 'just stopped working'? What were you doing? Maybe some more info could help with troubleshooting.

Linux copy the Mac Dock to make it looks like MAC! But what's Apple doing?

When I'm disappointed at PCs, it's not only because of Microsoft's Windows, but also millions of so-called different PCs only with the same Windows system inside. So I wanna to look for a new computer with unique features, I think Mac is the best choice I can never find. But now I'm annoyed that Linux are copying Mac from Mac Dock, and using some themes to make Linux look like a 'real' Mac!? Then what's Apple doing about it? Just standing by and making Linux themselves? Apple does not mind about it? Mac Dock isn't Apple's? If Linux are all with MAC OS X copying-features, then what's MAC OS X? Who will know, when millions of computer with a Mac Dock Linux, who will remenber that the DOCK is apple's? Maybe people will think: MAC OS X? just a Linux-outlook system! OH~GOD!! At that time what's the difference between MAC and Linux? And what's the difference between MAC and PC? Millions of computers with the same outlooking system as MAC? OH~NO!! I wanna Apple to give me a full answer about this!!

If you are really worried about the looks of things like the dock being in linux vs mac, there is no type of Computing device that can save you.
Apple may have patents and trademarks, but even if someone made a window manager that cloned os x's gui completely, it would not have the underlying power that goes with it. Linux is similar to Darwin, but osx's implementation of a gui is nearly flawless in my opinion. I am a linux admin by trade. I used to run linux desktops. i struggled for years to find a gui that worked well on linux, because I needed the power that goes with it from the command line / mem usage etc. Then enter my first mac purchase with a macbook pro I bought on the whim last year. Wait.. can it be true? A powerfully flexible freebsdish system (darwin) underneath a gui that is fast, efficient, and actually works?! Plus hardware that knock on wood in my luck rarely goes bad, plus rarely crashes unless it's a third party tool? Gasp and egads.
That is why Apple does not have to worry. I love linux. I love os X. Linux is making breakthroughs with desktop goals, but until they redo Xorg to not be the suck it can be, I will stick with my os X. As will most of the other linux / bsd geeks in my office who are mac converts (bout 6 of us overall, theres only roughly 10 admins besides myself that are technical).
It's not that they don't care. It's that for intents and purposes, it doesn't need to.

From what I can tell, the digital copy offer for Alvin & the Chipmunks expired back in March; at least it did for the Blu-Ray version in the US. This is a scam being run by the movie studios; they advertise digital copies on the Blu-Ray and DVD disks they sell, but don't tell you up front that they're redeemable only for a limited time after the movie is first released. When you cancel a plan the cancellation does not take effect until the next payment is due - so you won't get a refund for the unused portion of the month but you should not be charged the following month.
If you have followed the instructions correctly and it's not yet a month from the previous payment you would do best to wait until the next payment date and see what happens. I cannot sync HD films purchased on iTunes (on my PC) to my iPad even though it is a shared account. No problem syncing to iPod Classic from PC.
Also there is no 'Film/Video' tag on the drop down menu on the iPad only Music and TV Programs.

Most of my library consists of h.264 videos wrapped in the m4v format, which my converters (Handbrake & mkvtools) says is the Apple TV format. Today I tried coverting a few to mp4 (for iPad) instead, so that I can watch them on multiple devices, but I'm running into the same problem with those that you are.
I tried resetting my ATV as the other responder suggested, but that hasn't helped. I'm still unable to watch h.264 mp4 files, while h.264 m4v's are fine.

I ran into the same problem using Corel Paradox v10. It crashes in the same module (\SysWOW64\ntdll.dll). This appeared when performing a query that always worked in the past. Corel is not Roxio! I think it is clear that some changes
were likely made in a recent Windows Update. Since my queries were working as recently as December or January, I suspect something was changed in a recent update either with the DLL or with the way calls are routed. I also recently began having
problems with Wordperfect and Quattro Pro (both from Corel Office 2002 Pro) crashing when using the open file dialog. I was able to get around this by changing the Compatibility Mode from Windows 2000 to Windows XP. I don't know why this worked.
I never had to use Compatibility Mode for Paradox, it just ran fine. I tried switching Compatibility mode for Paradox with no change in behavior - crashes with a two line database query. Single line queries still work, but a relational database
is useless if you can't make multi-table queries. This is a serious problem.
I never had any issues running these programs under Win XP.

I found some information about encountering issues when trying to restore your iPod. These are for people getting a "An unknown error has occurred" error message, but the recommendations should still apply even if you're not getting that error:
To troubleshoot this issue, try the following solutions in this order:
Disconnect and reconnect your iPod to iTunes, and then attempt to restore or update the iPod again.
Restart your computer and then attempt to restore or update the iPod again.
Try connecting your iPod to a different USB port, and then attempt to restore or update the iPod again. Connecting to a USB 2.0 port is recommended. For Windows computers, refer to Identifying USB 2.0 ports on your computer for instructions.
Remove any USB devices not manufactured by Apple that you have connected to your computer (it is not necessary to remove your keyboard or mouse). Then, attempt to restore or update the iPod again.
Update to the latest version of iTunes, and then attempt to restore or update the iPod again.
Try to restore or update the iPod again using a different user account for your computer. For example, create a new test user account on the computer with admin rights, and with iTunes installed, try to restore/update the iPod. For instructions on how to do this, follow steps under the heading "Restore using a new user account" in this article.
Try disabling Disk Use on your iPod and attempt to restore or update the iPod again. If that doesn't work, try enabling Disk Use on your iPod and attempt to restore/update. Refer to Putting iPod into Disk Mode for instructions.

What do you mean by "tried connecting through cable"? I can think of two different things you might mean.
It might help to reset the connection settings on your Mac using these steps one at a time until the problem is resolved, recognizing that, depending on your problem, not all of these steps will make sense:
1) Use the AirPort/Wi-Fi menu bar item to turn AirPort/Wi-Fi off, then on again.
2) Try to select your Wi-Fi network from the AirPort/Wi-Fi menu.
3) In the Network panel of System Preferences delete the AirPort/Wi-Fi item from the left column, then add it back.
4) In the same panel as (3), define a new location and see if you can make that work.
5) In the same panel, select the AirPort/Wi-Fi connection item, click the "Advanced" button, select the "TCP/IP" tab, then click "Renew DHCP Lease". Note that the fix this step implements may be temporary.
6) In the folder /Library/Preferences ( _not_ <yourhomefolder>/Library/Preferences), move the folder SystemConfiguration onto the Desktop, then restart your computer. See if you can now make your AirPort connection work.
These steps may not help, but they'll only take a couple of minutes to try. Before you try these, if you have any special network settings on your Mac for things like DSL credentials, note all your network settings, because the latter steps will destroy them. If you got all the way to the last step, if things don't work any worse than before, you can trash the saved SystemConfiguration folder.

HT2510 having issues with Garage Band stating disc too slow...i have stopped ALL other apps, restarted and still having same issue....Please help!

i have not been able to replay older Garage Band productions I have done. I got one to play and then when I edited and saved said did i want to save to newer version. I said ok...But getting repeated error that disc too slow and then starts playing in timeline but no audio then says Garage Band not responding.

Just some thoughts: You have an older Mac, so that could be part of the problem. You may have processes running in the background, or perhaps your disk is too full. Look in the Apple Knowlege Base for things like Startup Items, Launch Daemons, etc and see if you have any that you can get rid of. Also check your HD available space. If it's too full, your files are probably fragmented and spread all over the disk, which might make it respond too slowly.
