My cat likes to lick and chew on iPhone charging cables. Only Apple cables, she is not attracted to any others in our home. Has anyone else had this happen.
The Kindle and iPhone cables are right next to each other. She only likes the Apple cable leaving the Kindle cable untouched.

I'll go ahead and suggest it. My cat has chewed (and destroyed) the following:
--two sets of my brother's Apple ear buds
--two sets of my boyfriend's Apple ear buds
--three sets of my own Apple ear buds
-- one Macbook power cord ($80+ to replace)
I went into the Apple store Friday to buy a new power cord. I said to the genius helping me, "I didn't even have that cord for a year. Ye know what happened to it?"
Genius said, "Your cat ate it?"
They're aware of the issue!
WTH secret ingredient is Apple using? My story is no different than the others: cat leaves all other cords alone; seeks out and destroys Apple cords.
The only thing I know for sure is that Apple makes money on cord replacements.

I replaced my iPhone with a Samsung Galaxy5 and I am not receiving all of my text messages now. The rep at the store told me to go to iTunes and take my phone # off of the account and that would fix the problem. Is that true? What does iTunes have to do with text messages anyway?

I am trying to connect my ipod classic to a tv (sony bravia 1080p) and have tried many cables including the Apple composite AV cable with the 30 pin connector on one end and three RCA connectors on the other. Audio works but video does not. The ipod classic screen says to connect to device when it is already connected. No success. Any thoughts?

Why is the sound of my new ipad cutting out intermittently and what does Apple recommend to solve the problem in lieu of any updates? All of a sudden without changing any settings, the audio on my NEW ipad cuts in and out on applications/ games, keypad noise and lock sounds. The rocker button only seems to work while the sound is intermittently being heard before, after a few seconds of noise not doing anything when sound goes off.
This is highly frustrating as I've noticed others posting about such issues as far back as April. Anybody had the same thing happen to them? Is this likely software (ios6) or hardware issue? If it does indeed show the warranty has expired, then what you need to do from here will depend on who you purchased the iPad from and when you really did purchase it. Perhaps you actually purchased it in August and are just misremembering? Check your receipt. Hello. I recently pieced together a late 2008 MacBook Pro 15". Everything works fine except the battery constantly goes between "not charging" and "calculating" or, rarely "charging". It does charge after a long while and will report that it is charged.
I have reset the NVRAM and the SMC a couple of time but that didn't work so I ran an Apple Hardware Test and while testing the logic board it gives the following error:
4SNS/1/40000000 LB1T
I've done some research and found this is a temperature sensor related to the battery, but cannot find where the sensor is located in the computer. Would you know how I can find the sensor to test it? Could my battery problem be related to something else? Would a fresh install of Lion help?

Two pieces of information that may or may not b helpful, the hard drive is from my early 2008 MBP and the only test disc I have access to is from an iMac.Why do you have LION installed on that older machine?

Badgolfer4it's rare that a mouse would perform in a different manner between different applications
I would troubleshoot with other apps to see if it was just adobe apps
and then I would troubleshoot by trying a different mouse

Nothing. The 2nd Gen Touch is OBSOLETE and is WAY past its support life. If you want to run the newer apps you have to buy a newer iPod.
