Finally... CC charged and my order status wad changed to reflect a delivery of 9/19/14!!! I ordered the Silver iPhone 6.....128gb and I didn't order until 6:30pm est yesterday. I live in NY, in case anyone is wondering!! So excited. Don't know how I'll manage to wait the next 6 days.... LOL.

and when I called Verizon Customer Non Service about it, Tasha told me everyone was paying it and there was absolutely NOTHING that could be done. I calmly told her that since we have been customers for the past 15 years, we didn't have to pay any UPGRADE, change phone, transfer contact or any other silly fee that had been conjured up. Tasha told me that since April 1, this was new. I asked Tasha where I would have know about this charge and was smartly told that by going to myverizon. com, I could have found the information............sure, if I'd actually been searching for it, but since I'd never had to pay them, why would I? Were they mailed to me with my bill in advance, No, was it emailed to me? No, was it sent as a text on my phone since my upgrade was impending? No. I then asked what Verizon did for me to earn my $30 and again was smartly told that they had changed my contacts, showed me how to use the phone and had set up my apps. Maybe I'm dreaming, but I'm sure the guy at the Apple Store that sold me the phone AND set it up would have something to say about that. Oh, she did say that if I'd gone to the Verizon store to buy my new phone, they would have told me. I stopped going to the retail stores ever since they stopped serving customers. Clearly, Tasha wasn't feeling how badly jipped I'm feeling and I asked to speak to someone above her that could maybe understand that I didn't want to pay this outrageous and simply unethical hidden fee. She told me that her manager Troy, was on vacation for 2 weeks and couldn't be contacted and that no one was taking over in Troys absence, so I was simply out of luck...BUT I could write a parcel post to a nameless person, in a city far away where I would have no idea how to follow up. Fine, Tasha, you win, could I please do the survey after we hang up so I can at least talk about my service tonight, "Oh, sorry we would have had to offer that to you before we started the discussion but now it's too late". $350 a month I pay to Verizon, I bet ATT would like my money!
Should anyone at Verizon care to call me back, the only call I want is the one refund my $30.

Due to your choice of going else where purchase your device, you take liability of finding out what fees you will incur, Verizon can't hold your hand and advise when they aren't aware of what's going on.
AT&T will take your upgrade fee money I am sure!!! Either way you go, your going to pay.
You probably knew about the fee, and thought if you went through Apple they wouldn't charge it.
Your ignorance to the fee doesn't make it hidden.
Secret about Customer service, it is their job to get you off the phone with out talking to a Supervisor. As that Supervisor has better things to do than listen to the same sob story the last rep had to listen to, only to tell them the exact same thing.

I completely understand when I buy a phone using an upgrade I get it at a discounted price and Sprint extends the contract I have and charges fees to make up the cost. However I received a phone as a birthday gift from my boyfriend who bought the phone for me at full price. I was charged $36 as an upgrade charge. Are you serious?

AT&T and T-Mobile both have been charging $18 for their fee for a long time, and this February AT&T doubled that fee to $36 — making Verizon’s $30 seem not so bad.

Just deleting an app from a computer or device doesn't unsubscribe the auto renew function. That is the buyers respsonsibility after purchasing the app.

Try resetting ...
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, try restoring..

So I just updated my iphone 4S to iOS 6 and was having fun trying the panorama pictures, and all of the sudden my phone turned off (it was fully charged so it's not out of batery and it felt warm) and it has since not turned on again. Suggestions?
Even if it is a hardware problem they should fix it regardless of warranty. If you buy a car and after 1.5 years the doors fall off due to a failure in their design and construction, do you think the car manufacturer could pull off what Apple is trying to do? Yes the car still delivers its primary objective of driving from A to B, but significant functionality has been lost due to their fault.
It is the same with this iPhone wifi problem. Apple are a disgrace, I have had significant Apple Hardware failures with my MacBook Pro and iPhone within 2 years of purchase. Pathetic quality. -

My ipad will not turn on. It was fully charged before it just died and would not turn back on. When I hook it up to my computer on itunes it says cannot connect because it is locked with a passcode. I know my passcode but the screen is just black, no power, so I cannot enter a pass code.
FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Hold Sleep/Wake button down and slide to turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTune (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port. Do not release button until you see picture of iTune and plug.
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTune has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTune.
7. Select "Restore iPad"... -
My iPad just died. The gear symbol came up and then the screen went blank (turned off). It was fully charged so that wan't the issue.
That is indicating that the device has gone into recovery mode. Press just the Power button until the red Power Off slider appears and slide to turn it off. Then power it back up to see if it has exited Recovery Mode. If it has, then you should be good to go.
If it has not, then the issue you had that caused the iPad to turn off was one that put your device into Recovery mode requiring that you go through the recovery process (i.e., the reset did not process since the issue required a recovery to resolve). Here is a link that explains what you need to do to get out of Recovery Mode in that case:

i bought a ipod touch 4th generation with cracked screen and i finally got it to turn on itunes and the ipod was making charging noises but the screen was just white i tryed updating it to ios 5.1.1 bit did nothink so i was wondering how to fix this white screen i tryed a hard reboot ( whitch i heard might work ) but did nothink if there is no sulution to fixing this is it worth buying a new screen ? thaanks

If yu can't turn it off, then let the battery fully drain. After charging for at least an hour try again.
If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and service is required. -
phone 4 just turned itself off, won't turn on again - sleep/wake button hasn't worked for a while - tried charging (even though it was 50% charged when it shut down) and that makes no difference....either via usb to computer and direct to wall socket. Well, the sleep/wake button is also the power button. If you cannot use it to turn on, then you cannot use it to perform a reset by holding it and the home button together until you see the Apple logo.Those are the only two ways to turn the device on. You can try letting the battery go completely dead and then trying to plug it in. After it has charged for 20-30 minutes, the device may come back on. But, without the sleep/wake button, there is no other way to turn the device on or off.
