My centro will not stop trying to hotsync

So today my phone will not stop hotsyncing i can't even use the phone unless it is connected to the usb charger

Remove the battery and leave it out for an hour. Place the device 2-4 feet away from mild heat source. (A lamp etc etc)
This problem is sometimes caused by water damage, allowing the unit to dry out might take care of it. Otherwise check the bottum connection for debris and consider hard reseting the unit. If the problem continues post that then the unit will need to be repaired or replaced.

Adobe Flash Player Installer 11.1 will not stop trying to load itself

Howdy,
Adobe Flash Player Installer 11.1 automatically starts/restarts itself trying to load this program. I have this program and have the update to it already, but this AFP installer 11.1 keeps trying to load itself until my computer freezes. The .exe files it starts as is FP_AX_CAB_INSTALLER.EXE, which then opens another .exe file called InstallerFlashPlayer.exe
I have downloaded the uninstall flash player today and tried to remove everything Flash and Adobe, but still this .exe file keeps popping up.

Does that still happen after you restart Windows?

Canncelling sync will not stop

In the process of syncing my ipad with my pc. After syncing was done the message says "canncelling sync" and will not stop. What can be done? Thanks.

I bought a Centro from Sprint.com in March and I am having the same problems. It will not stop trying to Sync even if my cell phone is not connected to the computer via USB cable. I can not even use the phone to call anyone as the "Connecting with the desktop using Cradle/Cable" will not go away. When it is hooked up the computer it works fine and I can use the phone and the HotSyncs are successful but only if it is hooked up to the computer.

How do I configure the AX to connect to the hub's wireless network? It will only scan one base station Airport Express at a time in the Airport Utility. I think what I am trying to do is use the hub as a router to the two AX's. Is there a specific way to set this up?
To set up the AX to join a wireless network as a "Wireless Client," using the AirPort Utility, either connect to the AX's wireless network or temporarily connect your computer directly (using an Ethernet cable) to the Ethernet port of the AX, and then, try these settings:
Launch the AirPort Utility.
Select the AX.
If not already connected to the AX's wireless network, go ahead and switch to it when prompted.
AirPort Utility > Select the AX > Manual Setup > AirPort > Wireless
Wireless Mode: Join a wireless network
Network Name: <type in the network name/SSID of the wireless network that you want to join or select it from the pop-up menu>
Wireless Security: None OR, if you are using security on your wireless network:
Wireless Security: <Select the appropriate level of security for the existing wireless network: WPA/WPA2 Personal | WPA2 Personal>

Centro will not Sync with Palm Desktop

I have removed all Palm references from laptop as suggested in: Community Help Forums : Hardware & Software : Software : Re: Syncs fine -- missing all data in Desktop App with no luck.

I have a Windows Vista, downloaded Hotsync Manager 7.0.2 and all data (contacts/calendar) from Palm Centro will not appear in Palm Desktop. I have made sure that:
1. user name in Hotsync is the same as is in Palm Desktop
2. tried different user name (suggested "Test" ) with no luck
3. changed name of device through "prefs" icon (at least, in Bluetooth, Device Name is "Palm Centro") I am unable to find another option to change the name of the device for syncing purposes if it is not through Bluetooth
Any other suggestions? I have made entries into te Palm Desktop calendar, do a Hotsync and the entries from the Palm Desktop entries are not appearing into the Palm Centro, and the Centro's contacts and calendar entries are not showing up in the Palm Desktop.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreaciated!

Do you have the Centro set to sync with Microsoft Outlook by mistake? Look in Outlook and see if your info is there.
If it is, you can run a simple program in your Start/All programs/Palm/PIM Conduit Sync/Sync with Palm Desktop to switch it back.

My data wheel will not stop spinning (i think i am being tapped)

ok every time i open up my native phone app the data wheel instantly starts spinning and will not stop. it does stop as soon as i close it.
i thought it might have something to do with google sync so i deleted my mail account but it did not help aat all

Perhaps it's trying to access your voicemail. Is that working properly? Does the Phone app work?
Try resetting your iPhone by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

Ever since I upgraded to 4.0, the welcome tab will not stop opening. It's getting rather annoying.

The welcome tab for the new 4.0 will not stop opening every time I open my browser. Each time I open Firefox two tabs open, the welcome page for the new 4.0 and my home page. I updated some time ago and this welcome page is becoming quite annoying. How do I stop it from opening? In the past, it has stopped after the first time I open Firefox following an update.

Thank you for the reply. I have Google set as my homepage, and that's the only homepage listed in the Options box. I tried restoring to default, but when I opened again, the 4.0 page and Google opened again. That leads me to think it might be options, but that article meant absolutely nothing to me.
What I find strange is that when I have one Firefox window open, then open another Firefox window, only the Google page opens, not the "get to know 4.0" page.

Distiller will not stop distilling postscript file

I use Distiller 6.0.2. Lately, when I try to distill a Quark layout into a pdf the distilling process will not stop. The progress bar shows a number that just keeps on climbing up. It seems if I quit the program and then restart it, this will solve the problem and distiller will make a pdf of the postscript. However, I will get the same problem once I try to distill another page. I tried to trashing the Distiller preferences and then restarting the program. This did not do anything.

It's not a specific file and it doesn't matter how big a file is. I am distilling a postscript file. My Mac is running on 10.3.9. I only print from Quark to get postscript files.

Nano will not stop scrolling songs

Nano is continually scrolling through all songs without allowing me to play any of them. It just starting doing this after using it without problems for over a year. It will not stop, but scans through all songs without letting me play them. When I touch the play button it stops for a split second then goes back to scanning all my songs. I have tried everything to fix it.

Okay, the problem is fixed. Try this, It worked for me.
Deauthorize and reauthorize your account in iTunes
In some cases iTunes may "forget" that your music is authorized. You can refresh the authorization by deauthorizing and then reauthorizing your computer. To deauthorize a computer:
1. In iTunes, choose Deauthorize Computer from the Store menu (your computer needs to be connected to the Internet).
2. In the resulting dialog, enter your Apple ID and password.
3. Click OK.
You can now reauthorize your computer by simply trying to play one of the songs you've purchased. A dialog box will appear asking you to enter your Apple ID and password. Once you have done so, click Authorize to finish the process.

ITUNES WILL NOT STOP CRASHING!!!!!! - i'm fed up with it.

ITUNES WILL NOT STOP CRASHING!!!!!! - i'm fed up with it, i cant load it, i cant add music too library, i cant sync my phone, i cant update, it runs for about 30 seconds, and crashes every time. i havent added a folder to the library, only tried to add mp3's which have previously worked fine... what else is there thazt i can manage my iphone data with?

What kind of a computer are you using ?

Centro will not Power Off - Verizon

My Centro will not power down. Push red button and screen comes right back on. Only way to stop it is to remove the battery. Battery dies very quickly when this problem occurs. Happens about once a day. Verizon replaced phone about 2 wks ago for the same problem. Up dated software. This does not mean I want to shut off the phone part, the calendar etc will not go off. Screen stays lit. Any help will be appreciated.

Try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.

Mail will not stop fetching

I have 3 accounts set up in my Mail app. Two with Charter and the other is my work POP account. My work POP account will not stop fetching. Mail will not allow me to quit the program other than with a force quit. Is there a way to trash Mail preferences with out deleting the accounts? I have ran Disk Utility and used Cocktail to clean the cache files but it still hangs up.
I also got the new iPhone this weekend and unlike with my BlackBerry, if Mail is not working correctly on my laptop, then no mail is sent to my iPhone? I really don't understand that but I'm trying to address the first problem first then I tackle that issue.

Okay, I figured it out. The port number had gotten changed? I logged in to my work station to check the settings and they were different. Odd. I didn't change anything. I really don't monkey around with my computer much. However, we did update mail servers at my work and remember about 3 weeks ago it asked me something about the certificate so I wonder if my response made some sort of change. Oh well, live and learn. Now figure out my iPhone!

Log capture will not stop

Can someone help when I log and capture all works OK but when I press escape it will not stop capturing no matter what I do, I have even tried swapping keyboards can someone help

OK, first some basics
1. trash FCP prefs
2. Run Disk Utility and Repair permissions and Repair Disk
3. check you system prefs, make sure that your energy saver settings are so that the system stays awake and disks do not power down.
4. FCP prefs will need to be reset, if you are using capture now, check that it not limited, reset you drives and etc.
5. Try capturing using log clip and a short piece.
6. try capture now.
7. oh and check that the codec of the caerma/tape is the same as that you are capturing with.
