My Charging wire will no longer fit in my Iphone 5

My charging wire no longer connects with my IPhone 5 something is blocking the connection in the phone

And after you look and see what's in there, consider getting a new, clean toothpick (or something similar) to see if you can scoop the debris out of the port.

Guys, I found another user and what he said to do worked!!! I have copied the information below:
This was 1 of the things that happend to me too, the other one was that at the bottom of the itunes page were it says all the memory info, it marked that I had over 3gb of other memory wich I didn't.
Anyways what I did was to unmark the calendar, contacts etc. ( so that they wont sync with the computer ), pressed apply,  then I marked all of them again, apply again and for last I pressed Sync wich is at the bottom right coner by the apply botton.
I'm not sure that had anything to do with it but it worked, my music appeard both of my itunes playlists and the ones I bought in itunes.  Also the other memory dissapeard and it's all good.
I'm not sure this will help you but thats my 5 cents, if the problem continues its better to call customer service and ask for a technician.
Hope your problem gets solved. Have a nice day.

  • I'm running OSX 10.5.8 - iTunes 10 will no longer export to my iPhone. At the moment I don't want to upgrade my OS so I can download iTunes 11. Is there a workaround?

I'm running OSX 10.5.8 - iTunes 10 will no longer export to mu iPhone. This system can't upgrade to iTunes 11. Is there a work around?

If it's because you updated the device to iOS 6, yes; click here and download iTunes 10.6.3.
If it's because you bought an iPhone 5, fifth generation iPod touch, iPad 4, or iPad mini, no.

    Hello, a.higgins.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
Here are some troubleshooting steps in the article below that I would recommend going through.

  • My daughter's ipod touch got hot while charging and will no longer turn on.

My daugther's ipod touch got hot and will no longer turn on.  Is there a solution to this problem or is the ipod fried?

I'm not sure if it's fried or not, but try rebooting the device by pressing and holding the on/off and home buttons simultaneously for about 15 seconds or so. Hopefully you will see the Apple logo.

  • My iPad will no longer connect to my iPhone's wifi

My iPad will no longer accept my iPhones wifi. It just says "unable to join network". I have reset my iPad and it still won't connect. It has been getting harder and harder to connect for weeks and now it just refuses to connect. I called support and they want to charge me $300 to help me. I do not have those kind of funds so I am really hoping someone on here has ha this issue and knows how to resolve it without paying someone an arm and a leg.

So your are attempting to connect your iPad to your iPhone hotspot from the sounds of it.  Have you tried resetting the network settings on your iPhone? Also try renaming your network name and changing your password just to test like network name "test" and password "password1234" will it connect then. Let me know how it works out or if the issues still persist.

  • Nano 7th gen usb cord will no longer fit into my nano

For some reason, my usb cord for the 7th gen nano won't fit. I charged it  a day ago with no problems.  I checked the cord and the nano for signs of damage, but could see none.  I would appreciate any help anyone can give about this issue.

The headphone jack on the newer 6G Nanos is a bit tighter compared to previous generations.  It requires a bit of extra force to get them to fully insert.  You should hear a sort of popping/clicking when inserting the headphones letting you know the plug has been fully seated.

  • My headphones will no longer fit in my iPod nano, is it broken?

I recently went to listen to my iPod nano and I went to put in my earphones and they would not fit into the jack in the ipod.  I had listened to my iPod (with the headphones) a couple days earlier, and it had been in a safe place, where it wouldn't get banged around.  Is the iPod broken? Any suggestions of what it could be?

  • My calendar will no longer sync with my iPhone 6 or my iPad 2 after upgrading to yosemite

I have noticed that my Calendar on my iMac will not sync at all to my iPhone 6 or my iPad 2 since upgrading to Yosemite OS. I have done all of the upgrades that Apple has sent out and both devices are at 8.1.2. I have tried following several different things people have posted but nothing is working. Am losing all faith in Mac since the incorporation of iCloud. Please help!

First, SyncServices has nothing to do with iCloud.
    1. Calendars in the On My Mac or On My iPhone/iPad/iPod category, and calendars that sync with other network services such as Google, will not sync with iCloud.
    2. Back up all data, then take all the applicable steps in these support articles:
    iCloud: Troubleshooting iCloud Calendar
iCloud: Advanced Calendar and iCal troubleshooting
Nearly all sync issues should be resolved that way. Please make sure you've taken all the steps and tested adequately before continuing.
    3. If there are any calendars on your Mac that you don't synchronize with iCloud, export them by selecting them in the calendar list and then selecting
              File ▹ Export ▹ Export…
from the menu bar. Quit Calendar.
    4. Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it:
    ~/Library/Calendars
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
              Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu.* A Finder window should open with a folder selected. Move that folder to the Desktop.
    5. Launch Calendar. Your calendars will initially be gone, but they should resynchronize with iCloud. If they don't, uncheck the boxes marked Calendars and Reminders in the iCloud preference pane, then re-check them.
    6. Import the calendars you exported in Step 3, if any, by double-clicking the files.
    7. If the issue is resolved, close the Finder window you opened in Step 4. Delete the exported files and the Calendars folder on the Desktop.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination  command-C. In the Finder, select
              Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.

  • My outlook calendar will no longer synch with my iphone. how is this fixed?

my calendar was synching fine until recently and now nothing is updating on it. All itunes and iphone updates are up to date.

I just experienced something similar to this. What version of Outlook are you using? Is everything else in Outlook syncing correctly, i.e. contacts, notes? If so, it is probably a corrupt appointment that is causing the problem. You may have to delete all of the appointments and re-enter them (That is what I had to do). It isn't bad if you only have a few, but can be worse if you have a lot.
You can try and reset the sync history in iTunes. Go to Edit, Preferences, then Devices, and click on Reset sync history. If that doesn't help, you will have to delete appointments. You can print them off in Outlook so you don't loose them completely, but a manual re-entry may be in your future.

  • Outlook with Connector installed will no longer sync Contacts with iPhone

Within Outlook, once you upgrade your Hotmail account with Outlook Connector, you can no longer sync your iPhone with Outlook Calendar, Contacts or Notes in iTunes. The Outlook Connector update was mandatory to continue to view your Hotmail messages through Outlook.
    Any ideas? Thanks Marv

In addtition, I use 2 other PC's with Outlook and they are configured to connect to the Cloud also, yet on both the I cloud calendars in Outlook only contain about half of my calendar entries. ???
    Help again, please.

  • Music will no longer sync to the iPhone. Please Help

Specs: Original iPhone. Running Latest Software
    iTunes: Up-to-Date
    Songs: All purchased through iTunes
Here is the issue. I have had my iPhone since it's release in 2007. Everything has been working just fine. Last week, my wife wanted to sync her iPod w/ my library. So, we synced it and in the process we pulled off purchased songs from her iPod into my music library. Then she successfuly synced her iPod.
Now I bought some more songs and tried to sync them into my phone. iTunes said that "sync complete." But none of the songs transfered.
I re-installed iTunes (despite the fact that I had the latest version).
My library which was backed up on my Desktop was immediately found by iTunes.
I can't transfer a single song/video/app to my iPhone. My phone was wiped clean. All my data such as phone numbers, calandars and etc... are still in tact (Thank God).
What is wrong? Why is it not Syncing? How do I fix this? Please help.
    Thank You,
    Sergey

    Thank you for your reply,
I checked the songs, they work. The computer was authorized.
Here is another interesting thing, I went to my old computer, and everything syncs (but the library on that comp is old).
I just don't understand why the music won't transfer (because all the other info transfers just fine)
In the phone menu I have everything checked off properly such as (sync all music and playlists).
    Hmm. Any other suggestions?
