My chat tabs in facebook do not close with esc.

I have tried in other browser and it works so i think there is problem with the Mozilla Firefox.
I have cleaned the cookies, cache, restarting Mozilla in safe mode, reinstalled Mozilla.

Hopefully other beta users can test and see whether they have the same issue so it can be examined in more detail before release.

Why isnt my chat on the facebook app not working it says"No Online Friends"

i downloaded the new facebook app for iphone 4. it worked fine when i first purchased the phone which was yesterday. recently worked this morning and now it says "no friends online" why has this happened? how can i fix this?

Did you always have the same problem or is it new? I always used to be able to get Facebook to work on wifi with no issues for months. I downloaded the new software update for Revolution, and all of a sudden it seems like they blocked the Facebook app somehow unless you're on 4G. It really sux because I can't get into my Zynga games either that are tied to FB! Wish someone at Verizon could be aware of this and fix the problem.
Also, interestingly, when I try to log into the Facebook site with the browser I am directed to an error page. The browser works fine for every other site though. Really seems like there was some kind of block instated that will no longer let you use Facebook on a wifi connection.

Facebook will not load with firefox (works with IE)

I downloaded the new update for firefox (3.6.7) today and it prompted me to update Adobe as well, but directly after the update Facebook started troubleshooting. I can get on Facebook just fine with IE, so I know it's not a problem with Facebook itself. With Firefox I can get to the main login page, but only once I delete the cookies, and once I log in I can only stay in my homepage. The only thing that actually seems to work is facebook chat, every other link, whether it's someone else's page, my own profile, or some pictures, just sends me to a blank page. The load bar at the bottom loads and the bottom left reads "Done", but the page remains blank. Once this happens I have to quit Firefox and delete the cookies in order to get on facebook again. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing Firefox (both with 3.6 and 3.5) but I have the same problems. I read that the problem could possibly have something to do with ABP or Adobe but neither of the solutions listed in those websites worked. I tried starting Firefox on safe mode, but the same problems occurred.

I converted an album to a slideshow: I exported it, selecting itunes as an export option. A window comes up that says iphoto at the top, but nothing happens. Also, this window will not close with the red button - I have to "force quit" and reopen iphoto

I can't seem to export a slideshow from iPhoto. I go through the export routine, but an iPhoto page comes up with other slideshows I've sent to iTunes, but nothing happens. I've waited, hoping something was happening, but nothing does. Further, once this page is up, you can't click out of it with the red button - to get it off the screen, I have to "force quit".

With Firefox 23 and TabMixPlus 0.4.1.0 installed, an additional box is added to the Tabs options panel that allows 3 options for the tab bar:

Snow leopard tab command and Dock not working with spaces

When I have spaces enabled, it wont switch to the desktop with the app running when I try to use dock, tab command. I tried repair permissions in Disk Utility. Tried rebooting. Tried autologin. It won't do anything when I click on the icon in the Dock, if its not in the present window. Of course if I turn off spaces, then its fine. I tried turning spaces on and off.
What is the fix?

Calendar entires labeled "Send Using Facebook" are not synching with Outtook

Some of the calendar entries that appear on my Blackberry are not synching to Outlook. Oddly, most of these were calendar entries created in Blackberry. When I click on these entries on my BlackBerry the top box says "Send Using:" and "Facebook" is selected. I have never created these calendar entries through Facebook.
Any help would be much appreciated!

You may want to try this:
1. Backup iPad
2. Setup iPad as new (Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings)
3. Test iPad thoroughly
4. If everything is fine, restore backup to iPad

Facebook friends not merging with my contacts

My first curve merged automatically but I had to get a new one and now the profile pics of my facebook friends wont merge. I have the box checked in the facebook options that says it will merge the profile pics but only people's job info is merging not their pics. I have rebooted and everything. Facebook does not work with BlackBerry Curve 9300 ??

Hi, I just got a BlackBerry Curve 9300 v5.0.0.832. My current carrier is Virgin.
Anyways. The message I get is "You are currently on a service plan that does not support this application. If you want to use this application please contact your service provider to upgrade the plan"

In order to use the Facebook app etc you need to ensure you have a full blackberry data plan as opposed to an email only blackberry data plan or standard data plan from your carrier.
Give them a call and see what your options are.

Facebook Form not working with Coldfusion8

I have a simple contact form setup in a Facebook fbml application box. When the name and email are sent from Facebook to my website, I receive the following error:

I have simplified everything so the only thing on my website's page is:

You might be having CF's built in server side validation running somewhere in your application.

CS4 64bit Bridge slideshow will not end with ESC key

I have just installed CS4 64bit on a new computer with Windows 7 64bit. I've done the update so now Bridge sees the CR2 files from my Canon 5D MkII but when I go into slideshow...which I use extensively for quickly reviewing images, I cannnot end the slideshow with the normal ESC key stroke... Which really kills the utility of slideshow. Any suggestions as to getting this to work or other ways to close slideshow? Now the only option is to croll through all the images in the folder at which point slideshow will close.

I can't help that Adobe gave me a download of 64bit CS4...but that is what they did...so obviously they have a 64bit version of CS4.
Sorry, as a Mac user PSCS 5 was the first version in 64 bit, PSCS4 was only 64 bit for Windows, However, like Curt stated, Bridge CS6 is the first 64 bit version for both platforms.
But, your suggestion to check the function of the ESC key in other applications was dead on...It does not work, so Windows 7 needs a bug fix.
Or your keyboard itself needs a spring clean...

NB200 Windows 7 Fn key not working with ESC and F1 to F8 keys

I recently bought a Toshiba NB200-136 and everything worked fine.
Flash cards on top/bottom of the screen work with Space, ESC and F1 to F8 keys, the rest of function buttons work without showing the cards. Lately the cards stopped showing and I cannot use the Fn + Space, ESC, F1-F8 keys (there's just no reaction), though the rest of buttons work with Fn and the LED is always lit when the Fn is pressed.
I reset Flash Cards, checked and changed their settings few times and they work only if I choose 'Allow the mouse to bring up the cards' option. Even then they don't appear when I press Fn and the functions work only when I click one of the cards.
The problem appeared after (though I'm not sure if immediately) such situation:
I clicked Start -> Shut down and closed the lid. When I opened it the next morning I saw an empty list of programs that wouldn't shut down (it happens quite often, but it's off top). I clicked 'Cancel' or 'Force shut down' but it didn't work so I pressed the Power Button for 5 secs to turn the computer off. I noticed the Fn problem after turning it on and it didn't disappear after resets.
I think the problem appeared before but disappeared after reset so I ignored it.
I'll be thankful for your help.

Any time that you force Windows to stop instead of letting it shut down normally (sometimes you have to shut it off), you may have lost clusters of data that interfere with the proper operation of Windows. So I suggest you start up and run scandisk and make sure you check the box for fixing problems. The other box doesn't need to be checked unless you suspect bad sectors on the hard drive and it takes a long time so I recommend only checking the one box for finding and fixing errors.
