My child somehow deleted my APP Store App - how do I get it back?

It's a pre-installed app and therefore cannot be deleted so you may have inadvertently moved it onto a screen or into a folder. Check all screens and folders and do a search in Spotlight, it will tell you if the app it still on your iPhone but unfortunately not where it is. If you find it on one or your screens or in a folder, press the icon until it wiggles and then drag it back to where you want it. Alternatively you can reset your home screen in Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout. Also check Restrictions in Settings>General>Restrictions>Installing/Deleting Apps>ON

Today I somehow managed to delete my mail app -- it's totally gone. I can't find a way to get it back. Anyone know how I can reinstall it? I tried a fresh reinstall but it seems to remember my last setting with it gone. I have an iPhone 4.

It is not possible to delete any of the apps included with the firmware/OS. None of the apps included with the firmware/OS are available as a separate download and install because it isn't necessary.
If you are unable to locate the app within any folder on any home page, on your iPhone go to Settings > General > Reset and select Reset Home Screen Layout.

I bought the $20 dollar audio upgrade for my NHL Gamecenter App so i could listen the games, well the app stopped showing me scores. for days i tried everything to get scores back. exited app, shut down phone...etc... to no avail. so i had to delete the app. after getting it back downloaded it shows scores again, but now they want me to pay another $20 dollars to get the audio upgrade again that i already paid for. anyway to get my in app upgrade back without re-paying the $20 dollars again?

Try going to the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app on your iPad and tap on your account id, tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account, and then select the Country/Region section and select the US. If you updated the address on your account then you will also need to update that to be your US address.

You should have been sycning them with your computer all along. Sync them from your computer back to the iphone.

All of your apps should be in iTunes on the computer, simply sync them back.
If they are not, go into the purchase history and download them again.

To re-install iPhoto
1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2a: On 10.5: Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows: In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
/var/db/receipts/
2c: on 10.7 they're at
/private/var/db/receipts
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.
If you purchased it on the App Store or have a Recent Mac you can find it in your Purchases List.

Backup do not contaiuns music or apps, you will either need to resync them from your itunes computer, or you can go to purchase history in itunes or app store app and go to purchase history and redownload them.

The iPhone does not store ANY information on the SIM card. If they were truly on the SIM, re-import them from the SIM.
Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Import SIM Contacts.

You profile says you have a Mac Pro and it is running 10.6.8. You either have the install DVD when you bought the Machine, look in the box, or you bought a 10.6 DVD retail install disk, you would remember if you did.
If for some reason you dont have your 10.6 DVD, you need to buy one. Call an Apple Store and see if they can sell you one. I think that depends on where you live. You are in luck if you live in the USA.
