My clips in the timeline don't show the adjustments pop-up menu

can anyone tell me how to reveal it

I didn't notice those little arrows were removed - it was one of my feedback requests to get rid of them. Yay.
Not just visual clutter, but clicking on them accidentally, when you just wanted to move or select a clip, was all too easy.

Pop-up blocker: why is the "show the blocked pop-up" menu missing in the options?

There used to be the "show the blocked pop-up" menu item, whenever a pop-up is blocked by the pop-up blocker, I cannot see that menu these days.
Even in the pop-up blocker help entry, the menu item is in parentheses. Does it mean that sometimes the item would show up and sometimes don't?
What happened to this feature? I really loved this one, and it was one of the main reasons I started to use Firefox instead of IE.
Is there any way to enable this in about:config or something?

Thanks for your reply to this question. I believe that "show the blocked pop-up" ''was'' an option in FireFox's built-in popup blocker. As the OP mentioned, it is listed parenthetically on the [[Pop-Up Blocker Help Page|Pop-Up Blocker Help Page]]. Also, I don't run much in the way of add-ons and extensions, and no extensions were disabled when I updated this morning, but nonetheless the option seems to have disappeared. Since this problem doesn't have many "me toos," maybe it only happens under specific circumstances?

Where do I find the Style pop-up menu so I can choose mailing labels?

I've set out below the Help item for printing mailing labels from Address Book but I don't get any Style option with my printer which is a reasonably up to date HP 1200 Laser. Have I got the settings wrong somewhere
To print mailing labels:
Select All or a group in the Group column, or select specific contacts in the Name column.
If contacts in the group you selected have multiple addresses, you can choose which address to use for each contact.
Selecting addresses for group members
Choose File > Print.
Choose Mailing Labels from the Style pop-up menu, and then set other options:
Layout: Choose a type of label from the Page pop-up menus. Select Define Custom to set the page margins and the gutter space between labels, and to specify how many labels to print on a page.
Label: Choose which addresses to use from the Addresses pop-up menu. Choose the order in which to print the labels using the “Print in” pop-up menu. Add a small graphic to the labels by clicking the Image Set button; change the font by clicking the Font Set button.
Click Print.

Assuming you are in Address Book, you choose the records you want to print and then the File/Print menu selection.
If the printer menu comes up with only the name of the printer and "Presets" dropdown choices, you click on the arrow to the right of the printer name to expand the print menu. Make sure the box below the pages to print is showing "Address Book" and you will see the "Style" below it.

Interesting point. As I said, I have done all this of course,. Hence I doubted my interpretation of the Help Page instructions.
However I find, even now, that when I drag the right edge of the window over to what would be half way across my second screen if it were connected (it is disconnected right now because the monitor has died and I haven't replaced it yet) still all I can get are the options as far right as the crop tool. That's it.
There are 2 short cuts:

I want to create an external video widget with iAd. I followed the steps and copied the Url and paste it in the Video pop-up menu in the Properties section of the inspector. When i select 'preview' the video doesn't play and the Url that i pasted is gone.

May have something to do with whether or not the URL can be reached while building your widget. I've got a video on the web. When I enter the URL into the field for the video object and click to another field, the URL is replaced with some text indicating that it is accessing the video then updates itself to displaying just the name of the video file.
It shows just fine in preview and I can see the full path to the video when I export the widget so it should work for you.
Is the video accessible from your Mac while you're laying out your widget?

From the Toolbox, select the Paint bucket tool
In the Paint bucket options at the top, change from "Foreground" to "Pattern".
Click on the Pattern block to the right and the Pattern dialog will pop up.

Assuming you are in Address Book, you choose the records you want to print and then the File/Print menu selection.

FF5: when I go to Bookmark menu, and select a folder of my bookmarks, the resultant pop-up menu stays in place, not allowing me to access another bookmark folder instead. Just started happening today after I updated to FF5.

My bookmark folder has a number of sub-folders in it. When I try to access a bookmark, and mistakenly hover over the wrong sub-folder, the resultant pop-out menu will not go away, so I can't access the proper sub-folder. I have to click outside the pop-out and start all over again.

Ok. Update. Ive been playing around with this a bit. So the first thing I tried was adding a bookmark directly to the toolbar and not to a folder. This worked. I can see the bookmark on the tool bar and in the toolbar folder under organize bookmarks. Now. I try to add a bookmark for the same page to a folder on the toolbar. This time it shows up under bookmarks toolbar/*subfolder in organize bookmarks. But it does not show up in that folder under the actual tool bar. Like I said in my last post. I do not have two "bookmark toolbar" folders. just one that I am aware of.

Why is the landscape version of the Airdrop pop-up menu incomplete?

When I put my iPhone 5S running iOS 7.1 in landscape mode, and try to access the Airdrop pop-up menu, the thin blue lines across the menu seem incomplete, as if they only stretch half way across the menu.
Does anyone else have this issue with iOS 7.1?
Please help.

OK, I'll try removing all of the extensions but that doesn't explain why my GMAIL and various other JAVA related [I'm assuming] things are not displaying properly. I even went as far as to replace my video card and download the most up to date drivers...still no change, but I will try removing all of the disabled extensions.

Clips added to timeline do not show up in sceneline

Can someone please guide me to fix this problem. I have imported AVCHD videos from an HD camcord into my files and folders. Then I've opened up these files in the premiere elements organizer, dragged them onto the timeline. A pop up appears asking me if I want to videomerge the clip because it has a sold background. The first clip I drag onto the timeline will appear in the sceneline, but after that, any clips I drag onto the timeline does not appear on the secenline. It only extends the first clip in the sceneline to make it one big clip (although in the timeline you see them as separate). I can't work with the transitions easily without being able to view the storyboard mode.
Also, the first clip dragged onto the timeline always ended up on the Video 2 track, it doesn't allow me to drag anything onto the video 1 track.
I only installed this program not long ago and haven't changed any default settings. All of the tutorials I find online doesn't start up this way.

You have to select the correct AVCHD project preset at the start up screen...New Project, then select Change Settings and select the correct AVCHD project preset. If your audio is 5.1 surround sound be sure to select the AVCHD 5.1 audio project preset, if stereo select the AVCHD project preset. If you select the wrong preset for your audio the audio will be placed on track 4 and will not be visisble in Sceneline mode. In this case the only solution is to work in Timeline mode. You can right clcik on the empty tracks and select to delete them to tidy up the Timeline view.
Anyway, selecting the correct project preset should solve your problem.

Applications don't show on CC drop down menu

After using CC for a while, suddenly available applications don't show on the drop-down menu on an iMac; I can run the apps but they perform inconsistently, sometimes crashing, sometimes the cursor behaves erratcly or don't allow to create pdf files. I've tried reinstalling CC, reassigning the CC seat, but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?

This worked for me.
Step 1:
Open Finder application.Click on Go>Go to Folder.
Type /library and press return key.
Then navigate to Application support/Adobe folder.
Right click on Adobe folder and select 'Get info'.
Under Sharing and permissions, click on Lock icon and enter
Administrator user name and password.Click on symbol, select Admini
strators and click on Add, then give 'Read and Write' permissions to Administrators.
Click on symbol again, select current logged in user name and click
on Add, then give 'Read and Write' permissions to Administrators.
Give 'Read and Write' permissions to Everyone, System, Admin, users.
Then click on Gear icon and select the option 'Apply to Enclosed items'.
Step 2:
Open Finder application.Click on Go>Go to Folder.
Type ~/library and press return key.
Then navigate to Application support/Adobe folder.
Please give full permission as mentioned above.
Step 3:
Open Finder application.Click on Go>Go to Folder>>Type /library and
press return key>>navigate to Application support/Adobe folder folder.
Locate the folder named AAMupdater and rename it to AAMupdaterold and
OOBE to OOBEold.
Step 4:
Open Finder application.Click on Go>Go to Folder>>Type ~/library and
press return key>>navigate to Application support/Adobe folder folder.
Locate the folder named AAMupdater and rename it to AAMupdaterold and
OOBE to OOBEold.
Once you are done with the above steps, you can try launching the
Creative Cloud desktop application.
If you still face the same issue, please try the next steps.
(These steps were not necessary for me.)
Step 5:
Click on the below link to download the cleaner tool.

Select the product as Creative Cloud and CS6, then select Creative Cloud
desktop/Adobe application manager and select clean.
Step 6:

Where is Multiclip Display in the View pop-up menu?

The FCP user manual tells me to choose Render Filters in the View pop-up window and I cannot find this command (yes, I have already turned on the computer). I have my multiclip loaded in the Viewer with a filter applied to the active angle. However, when I edit the multiclip to the timeline, the filter remains at best on only one instance of the angle. My purpose is to have it applied to all the cuts of the angle on the timeline. Is it possible? I thought that if I follow the advice to render filters that I read in the manual the effect will remain on the clip.

I've spent weeks messing around with multiclips and effects, the manual doesn't seem to make any sense and when following it, it doesn't work.
As mentioned, the only way to get an effect on every clip in the sequence edit is to apply it to the master clip BEFORE you make the multiclip.
This maybe of no use to you as you've already made the cut, I found out the same thing after a similar 5 camera, 2 hour cut some years back.
If anyone has a beter way, I'm all ears!
When you say you can't use buttons, it sounds like everything is going right. The markers appear as you go and then when you hit stop, the sequence may take a while, but eventually it should update with all your shot decisions. Make sure you double click the multiclip in the timeline, click the canvas, use the sync menu (middle button above the canvas main screen-choose open) and then hit play and start cutting. I use that little ritual to make sure the multiclip is active, loaded and able to be cut.
Sounds like some corruption going on, have you done the obvious and trashed prefs etc etc?
I've found just a re-boot of the Mac often solves many multiclip issues.
In my experience, it's a good idea to really prepare your media before using multiclip. Even down to rendering a new quicktime movie including effects etc, BEFORE making the multiclip. Multiclip only seems to work reliably when you have 'online ready' material which you can then cut, re-jig and then render/master out as a final piece without any unnecessary messing with the clips.

Can I disable the attribute pop-up menu?

Can I disable this annoying attribute pop-up menu that appears whenever I press CTRL and the mouse cursor happens to be over an element tag?
This has disrupted my work more often than I care to count, and I'm tired of hitting CTRL+C or X only to later CTRL+V a weird empty table where I wanted to paste text. I don't want to have to pay attention to where my mouse cursor is every time I want to copy or cut something.

I don't have an answer for this, but I didn't like to see a post go unanswered either. I looked around for a solution, including perhaps a setting in the maker.ini file, but I could not find anything. I agree that it is a profoundly annoying feature that should have an on/off switch.
It only seems to occur when element boundaries are showing as tags. I don't know how many people actually author that way, so if the number is small, maybe that's why there haven't been other major complaints before now.

The spry pop-up menu I built in Adobe Dreamweaver worked fine in my old Firefox, I updated Firefox today and the menu no longer works--despite disabling the pop-up blocker in Firefox preferences...what's the problem??? I need the menu to work!!!

I built a new pop-up menu for my website using Spry in Adobe Dreamweaver. Because of some differences in .HTML and .XHTML
it took me days to get it right. I tested every variation in Firefox until it worked perfectly. Today, I installed the newest version of Firefox and now the pop-up no longer works. I changed the preferences in Firefox to disable to pop-up blocker and it STILL DOESN'T WORK...although an older style of pop-up menu (menu machine) which is no longer supported by Adobe, DOES WORK.
HELP!!! THIS IS IMPORTANT.

OP is using CS3 and the menu blog is talking about the menus
in earlier
versions of FW, so *most* of the points made in the blog
don't apply.
That's not to say that using CS3 pop-up menus is a *good*
thing....
