Share the Verizon Code of Conduct
Verizon Wireless has developed a Code of Conduct that is probably lost in your interactions with Verizon Wireless Representatives.
Here is the link to Verizon Wireless Code of Conduct that maybe helpful in all levels of company understanding the code that is to guide their interactions in serving: http://aboutus.verizonwireless.com/pdfs/Code_of_Conduct.pdf or the document has been attached.
Unfortunately, you will at times run into Verizon Wireless Representatives that are there just to collect a paycheck and have not made a commitment to live the Code of Conduct . Always present yourself respectfully even when you hit the wall, you do not want to lower yourself down to their level of respect. My suggestion is to engage the Executive Offices when you are unable to connect with a representative that wants to do the right thing. Here are 4 commitments that are in the Verizon Wireless Code of Conduct.
“We keep our commitments to each other and our customers. Our word is our contract.”
“We are committed to do the right thing and follow sound business practices in dealing with our customers, suppliers, owners, and competitors.”
"We focus outward, not inward. We make it easy for customers to do business with us, by listening, anticipating, and responding to their needs."
"Bureaucracy is an enemy. We fight every day to stay "small" and keep bureaucracy out. We are more agile than companies a fraction of our size, because we act fast and take risks every day. We see crisis and change as opportunities, not threats. We run to a crisis, not away. Change energizes us. We work hard, take action and take personal accountability for getting things done. Our actions produce measurable results."
I believe many of the Verizon Wireless representatives do not understand the empowerment they possess to fulfill the Verizon Wireless Code of Conduct. But if they are committed, they will become your agent to the Executive Offices if needed to "do the right thing" when serving the Verizon Wireless customer.
Best Wishes for a fabulous Verizon Wireless experience. We all win when the Code of Conduct is alive and we the customers are excited to share our Verizon Wireless experiences with family and friends!!All long standing Verizon customers, please read all. If it hasn't happened to you it will, and probably has before.
That all sounds so good, and I actually believed that for years. Have been a customer of Verizon since 1999, and Cellular One before that. On my previous 2 year contract renewal after spending 4 hours on the phone, I was promised phones and another 2 year contract with discounts. The bill came the next month and none of the discounts were on it. I called and was told that yes that was the agreement, but since Verizon had not entered the discounts the previous month and those discounts were no longer offered there was nothing they could do. After hours of discussion, Verizon determined that they would indeed honor the contract, as originally agreed to. This renewal is even worse. No discounts, every fee Verizon could dream up was added, even though these fees were discussed during the contract negotiations and were promised to be waived, they were on the bill. After 1 1/2 hours of talking to a representative and a supervisor, most of the fees were to be waived, but the monthly package that was promised for the entire contract, is NOT to be honored. Even though the rep is on the account, and the entire conversation was recorded, I'm told "this is all I can offer". And the offer is NOT the contract that was agreed to by me AND Verizon. Code of Conduct? BUNK. You have refused to honor your own contract. After 25 years of wireless, this is probably the last straw. GOOD BY Verizon. Your competition has been calling for years. Now I'm listening. NO excuse for refusing your own contract, and I am tired of fighting and trying to FORCE you to abide by your own legal contract. -

Code of Conduct ESS Web Dynpro Error posting in IT
Hi,
we are using the "Code of Conduct" scenario in EP7.0 ECC6.0 . After filling out the Adobe Forms and sending the document, the user sees an error "...cannot write to user..".
I know that results are written into Infotype 0035 subtype 003, but that exists in the system.
The connection seems ok, when the user-record is blocked, the WD yields an "Record locked" error.
We are using a different MOLGA (99), is this the problem?
Any help appreciated
HSHi,
unfortunately, no, the OSS note is still pending.
I wrote a similiar application in Web Dynpro for ABAP in about two days, works like a charme.
Beats any waiting for OSS responses.
Plus, that I found out the pdf handling itself in this SAP/ISR flow would have had generated some big infrastructure problems for the client.
So, get a good programmer and you are all set. I can share the function module for the infotype update with you if you want - send me a private mail. -

Adobe Forms in Portal and the standard Code of Conduct
Hi All,
We have ECC6 Portal 7 Adobe Reader 7.0.8 Adobe Lifecycle and its all working.
- In R3, I have Copied the standard scenario SECC in QISSCENARIOS to ZECC
- In R3, Changed and activate the form and interface there or in SFP
- In the Portal, I can copy either the Code of Conduct iView or the IsrForm iView.
- Now the ISR Cookbook says that i must add 'PCD parameters scenario and mode'...but it doesn't say what to add them to or what the format is. Or what the values of mode might be. My scenario is called ZECC to I have tried putting scenario=ZECC into the Application Parameters of the iView and into the Parameters to Pass from Page of the iView. NOTHING.
Any ideas?
Thanks & Regards,
Jimmy.Hi,
Well,I think you have done the required stuff from ECC side. But now for EP side, you got to create a new <b>Java Webdynpro IView</b> with the following Details...
NameSpace : <b>sap.com/pcui_gp~isr</b>
Application Name : <b>IsrForm</b>
Application Parameters : <b>SCENARIO=ZECC&MODE=CREATE&sap.xss.disablehdr=True</b>
And test the IView individually.
Let us know if it still gives you some problem.

Many thanks and best regards,

jasmin,
Could you check if the RFC user in R\3. and the connection that exists b/w EP and R\3.
You are getting this error due to the connection error between the two system.
Check if this is configured correctly and is working.
Thanks

ADOBE Form(Corporate Code of Conduct) Performance Issue
Hi
We are on EP 7.0 SP15
ECC: 6.0, SP 32
EA-HR : 602 SP11
BP_ERP5ESS: 1.2 SP3
BP_ERP5COM: 1.2 SP3
BP_ERP5MSS: 1.0 SP10
We are trying to use the ESS service Corporate Code of Conduct. This service fetches an Adobe interactive form(SECC). On trying to execute the service, the said adobe form opens after a very long time..close to 45 seconds and after that the system also hangs up.
Could you please share some inputs on rectifying this issue.
Thanks
RiteshHi,
Which version of ADobe Reader are you using? Try updating the Reader to 8.1 or 8.1.2.

Hi Experts,
Can you please let me know how we can configure ESS Corporate Code of Conduct? I can see the tab page "Corporate Information" in ESS. However, when I am clicking on "Code of Conduct Service" I am getting following error message:
While processing the current request, an exception occured which could not be handled by the application or the framework.
If the information contained on this page doesn't help you to find and correct the cause of the problem, please contact your system administrator. To facilitate analysis of the problem, keep a copy of this error page. Hint: Most browsers allow to select all content, copy it and then paste it into an empty document (e.g. email or simple text file).
The initial exception that caused the request to fail, was:

My questions are:
1) What are the steps to upload the document on Corporate Information in Portal.
2) What all configuration is to be done?
Please note that when I am clicking on Preview button of the iView directly I am getting following message
A critical error has occured. Processing of the service was terminated. Unsaved data has been lost.

The scenario is not active.
Please help me.

and the config test through webservice:
host:port/AdobeDocumentservices/Config? are giving positive results of version information..
The ADSUSER in j2ee ume is having "no pass word check required" checked.
Pls do help me solve this issue and its very urgent. All valid answers will be rewarded..
Regards,
RameshHi Ramesh,
To get to know if this an ADS Problem, try creating a Java WD Iview referring the application<b> IsrForm</b> with Application parameters of your scenario name and see the preview. If you get to see the same error, then I am sure, it would be some <b>ADS</b> Config problem. If you can see you Adobe form in the preview, then I think there is some problem with <i>SECC</i> scenario standard, in such case, raise an OSS Message.
Hope this is helpful.
