My color profiles does´nt show in bridge

Before going totally insane i ask here....
im useing CS4 premium
Images: .psd, gif, jpg ect shows tagged colorprofiles in bridge
But InDesign Documents and illustrator documents shows colorprofiles as :untagged
WHY?! I have assigned a profile etc etc and no matter what it says: Untagged
im going ballistic. Cant you tag a colorprofile to a indesign/illustrator document ore what is going on?!
Even my PDF´s are :Untagged
I use color management in Bridge with same settings for all programs: Preserve color profils...etc
My god- someone please help coz im going absolutely desperate
tnx guys

I do not know anything about InDesign or Illustrator., and have not had to get into color profiles.  Having said that I believe Bridge writes that info to XMP file, unless you have it in database (which some experts say in lunacy).
I do know that Illustrator uses a data base for keywords and perhaps the other stuff as well.  If you want Bridge to read it you have to check some option that says something like  - export data to metadata.
Hope that helps.

  • When printing a PLD in 9.0 the color background does not show

I have a PLD document (Sales Order) that I changed a field to have a "red" background which shows in my PLD document fine.  But I cannot get the color to show in my print out or in the print preview.  This issue has not been a problem for us in 8.82 but in 9.0 the same changes I make does not work.
Has anyone had similar issues with this and if so, any suggestions on how to fix?

    Hi,
Please compare and check both layouts. (8.82 & 9.0).

  • Visual Studio profiler does not show results for XAML + DirectX project

    The case is simple:
    1) The solution consists of 3 projects:  2 C# ones  (C# XAML project + C# library project) and one C++ runtime component initially created by the wizard, as this is a DirectX project.
    2) "Start Windows Phone application analysis"  runs OK, but when stopped  no profiling results are shown. The message is "0 total samples collected", "No call tree data is available".
How can this problem be fixed?  What are the assumed reasons?

(I know the thread is old - but I have found some threads on the net asking about this problem, but nowhere answered, so I'll rectify this here)
    Hey,
do you happen to have been profiling the *release build* ?
    If so, try this:
In solution explorer, right-click on the native C++ project -> Properties -> Configuration Properties -> Linker -> Debugging
The top-most field "Generate Debugging Info" is probabyl empty, which is default for release build. But debugging info is needed to sample-profile functions! So select "Yes" there, and make sure the next option, "generate program
database file" has a sensible entry.
    For me, this did it.

  • Plug-in Camera Raw 5.3 - profile does not show

I'm probably missing something obvious to everyone but me on this one.
I have been running Elements 7 with Vista successfully.  Today, I downloaded the plug-in "Camera Raw 5.3" with the understanding that the profie for Canon XSi was part of the upgrade.
(This may be where I'm "missing the boat")....I can open a raw image. I assumed that when I click the "camera calibration" icon, the Canon XSi would appear under the Camera Profiles dropdown.  However, I only get ACR 4.4.
I confirmed under help - system info that Camera Raw 5.3 was loaded.
    Can anyone offer any guidance?
    Thanks...Tony

I assumed that when I click the "camera calibration" icon, the Canon XSi would appear under the Camera Profiles dropdown.  However, I only get ACR 4.4.
ACR automatically detects what camera the files are from. What you see in the drop down list is the list of available versions for that camera. If PSE opens the raw file, it's using the profile for your camera.
You can't create a custom profile in PSE if that's what you want to do. You'll need to download the standalone program from the adobelabs site and use that, then load the profile into PSE.
EDIT the 4.4 is another version of the ACR profile you can choose if you don't like the newer one that loads by default.

  • Bridge Filter Tab - Color Profile

I have an iMac (Mountain Lion OS X
    10.8.4) Nikon NX2, Nikon
    D800E camera, and  Photoshop CS6.
Most of the 100 or so photos I
have transferred to my Mac by (USB  and
also card) are RAW NEF at approx. 40MB a file.    (Lossless compression)   Most all of these pictures  are in Color Space Adobe RGB, because that is
what I set up on the camera.
When in Bridge  > Filter Tab > Color Profile >  [this says that the majority of the NEF
photos , in the camera’s Color Profile Space of Adobe RGB, are not in this
color space, but the color profile of “UNTAGGED!”  I’ve studied all the preferences and options of
Bridge and I am not 100% that I know what to change so these photos will show
in the color space I want them to and I don’t want to make a mistake by
    clicking something that I can’t undo so…
    How do I
get these photos (which I guess are showing up in Bridge as sRGB color space)
to show up in Adobe RGB.  And if I can
change this, what could be the good or bad consequences of changing to Adobe
    RBG?
    There is
    also a Thumbnail  Option – “Generate 100%
previews.  Will checking this  show the previews at 100%?  And what consequences does using this have?
Thank You Very Much For Your Help,
    Thank You,
    Sandy

I looked at my canon raw files and they also say untagged. So Apparently the color profile does not get saved in the side car file. Which maybe a good thing. The raw file is suppose to be your negative, in that it doesn't need any color profile until you do something with it in another file format that does support color profiles.
The generate previews will use up more drive space to speed up previewing them. But in general, I never really needed it. So it boils down to what type of system do you have, ex. plenty of drive space, speed of cpu, amount of ram, etc.

  • Bridge kills my color profile

I used ColorEyes to create a great profile for my Thinkpad - even have neutral grays.
Photos look terrific in PhotoShop or any other application except Bridge (v2.1.1.9). When Bridge opens or closes, it sets the profile back to the orginal laptop profile.
Is there any way to stop this? I can reload the new profile every time, but it's easier just to not use Bridge at all, and that seems a shame.
    Thanks.

  • Monitor Color Profile Changes after FUS

My monitor color profile changes after fast switching users, and then I cannot change it back in the prefs for display-color. Attempting to choose (restore) my chosen calibrated color profile does not work.
The only solution is restarting. Loging out and back in does not fix it, only a restart.

  • Spotify name and profile picture not showing publicly

I have linked my Facebook account to a new Spotify account that I made after my old one was compromised. I have since recovered my compromised account via support. My facebook account was disconnected by whoever hijacked the account.  I signed up for premium on this new account and intend to continue using it. After syncing with facebook on this new account and adding contacts, my profile picture and name show correctly on the desktop client and phone but my public profile does not show either my name or picture.  Is there anything I can do to remedy this problem or do I have to wait for the servers to update? Thanks.  Edit: old spotify username was John007H the new one is John007H2 (this account).

    Antohny,
Also be patient. It can take several days, before the uploaded image is approved, and shows. My two red wine glasses image took about 7-10 days, and this one about 5.
IIRC, in my profile, I had "(pending)" showing during that time.

  • Bridge doesn't recognize color profiles

    Dear Adobe community,
I'm using Adobe Bridge CS5.1 (4.1.0.54) and Illustrator CS5.1 (15.1.0), and I'm experiencing a very confusing and disturbing color management problem between these two applications. In short, for some unknown reason Bridge doesn't seem to respect or simply cannot read CMYK color profiles that I've applied to an artwork within Illustrator, but rather labels the file as "Untagged" and displays it with clearly desaturated colors. To illustrate the problem I've created some screenshots having Bridge on the left hand side and Illustrator on the right displaying the same illustration with various color profiles applied. That is, in each case I assigned different color profile to the image in Illustrator, saved the file and took the screenshot of Bridge and Illustrator both displaying the image. Now if you look closely then perhaps you notice that the only time I got a visual match between these applications was when I switched the file to a RGB mode within Illustrator. But even then Bridge did not recognized the correct color profile but interpreted it as "Untagged". Here are the screens:
Bridge "Untagged" vs. Illustrator "U.S. Web Coated":
Bridge "Untagged" vs. Illustrator "Coated FOGRA39":
Bridge "Untagged" vs. Illustrator "Don't Color Manage This Document":
Bridge "Untagged" vs. Illustrator "Adobe RGB":
Hope you could see the difference from these tiny images. Looking from my monitor, I can tell you for sure that they are definitely off, except the RGB versions of the illustration. This made me surmise that perhaps Bridge can only display Working RGB profiles correctly and not anything else.
Here's also my color settings, just in case…
So... Why is that??? Why are these applications showing me different results while my color settings are supposed to be "Synchronized"? Is there a way to fix this? I have tried to play around with the settings and looked for a solution in the web but to no avail. Could you please help me to find a soulution to this disturbing problem?
    All the best,
    Juhani

You may have used the broken global Purge Cache command in Bridge Preferences, or the cache is otherwise corrupted. Try Purging the Cache through the Tools menu in Bridge for each folder. Tools > Cache > Purge cache for 'foldername'.

  • Why is Bridge reporting color profiles incorrectly?

Why is Bridge seeing this image as an Adobe RGB when it is really Colormatch RGB?
I am using CS5 on Windows 7 64bit. I have purged the cache and did a full restart of the OS.
    1.       The top dialog is Bridge and it is reporting the image as Adobe RGB (1998) in three places.
    2.       Next, with Photoshop’s rgb color setting is set to Adobe RGB and I get an Embedded Profile Mismatch.
    3.       I reset the color setting to Colormatch an opened the file without a mismatch. The status bar Document Profile confirms Colormatch
    4.       In the convert to Profile dialog, the source profile is Colormatch. (Is this a reflection of the working space setting?)
    5.       In file Info Raw Data Colormatch is reported.
    6.       I then opened the image as a TXT file and found a tag for Colormatch. There is no reference in the TXT file or Raw Data to Adobe RGB (1998).
Why does Bridge report this image as Adobe RGB (1998) when the file seems to have no reference to Adobe RGB?

I am assuming that some remnant of a former state of these files is causing Bridge to report the color profile incorrectly.
I made a workaround to fix these files by creating a Droplet (With 'Save on Close' and 'Override Action "Save As" Commands.)  to run an action with the following steps:
    Convert color to Lab.
Convert color back to RGB. (Working space:Colormatch RGB)
    Assign Profile to Colormatch RGB.
Save As. (With ICC Profile: Colormatch RGB checked.)
    Close.
With Profile Mismatch Warning set to' Ask When Opening', the droplet stops on any images that are not Colormatch and resumes after making a selection.
This is correcting the files and they are now reading correctly in Bridge.

  • Camera Raw 8.4 does not show  profiles for my Sony A850.

Camera Raw 8.4 does not show the profiles for my Sony A850. The camera profiles are in the directory, Camera Raw recognizes the photo as being from my A850 in the Camera Raw banner, but the only profile available is Adobe Standard. This all used to work OK a few months ago.

I don’t see any of these on either my Windows 7 or Windows 8 computer in that normal ACR profiles location.  Both have PS-CC/ACR8.4 so maybe they used to be there and were removed?
However, if they are valid profiles you can probably get them to work by putting them in the user-customer-profiles folder:
    %APPDATA%\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles
    %APPDATA% = C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming
I have over a dozen custom-created profiles in this folder and both Photoshop and Lightroom see them all.
A few years back it wasn't this way, but more recently Adobe recognizes which profiles are theirs and will ignore any others in the Adobe profile area, but it expects to see others in the user-custom-profile area, so move the .dcp files over there.
Did your A850 profiles come from a third party like these:

  • How to chnge cmyk and also apply color profiles in bridge

    Hi
i want to apply color profile for selceted files in brige

Does any one know how you can adjust the font size (point size) for the file
    names.
Sadly enough you can't chance that, feel free to add a feature request for
that, the more there ask for the bigger chance it will be realized.
It would be great if the colors for the image name (background and font color)
could be changed so the contrast could also be increased so it is also easier
    to read.
And this the cheerful part, go to Bridge preferences General tap and play
with the sliders for user interface and Image Backdrop until your satisfied.
BTW using the slider for thumbnail size bottom right of the Bridge window to
increase the thumbs does not increase the font but makes it nevertheless a
    little clearer.

Why when using Adobe Bridge,  I apply a star rating,   the rating does not show up in Photoshop Elements.  I use Elements as my organizer and Bridge to view as it is much more user friendly.  Anyone any solutions??

Most likely you have set the wrong file as the external editor. You don't want the obvious one; that's just a link to the welcome screen. Go back and choose this one, which is hidden away inside the folder Support Files:
